Wondered why the triangle thought the 3rd dimension was time. Then realized that it was 2D. That was clever, and worth a good laugh.
But it wouldn't think the 3rd dimension is time because it doesn't have any, it's a static object.
But if we use our imaginations we can imagine it experiences time so that makes things good again.

She is probably referencing how every time you try to explain the fourth dimension to people, they always think you're talking about time, and you have to explain to them that you aren't. That happens whenever I try to talk about the fourth dimension to people. It's really annoying. We call time "the fourth dimension" because it is a dimension (though a temporal one, not a spacial one) but it causes confusion when we want to talk about having four spacial dimensions. 2D creatures would sometimes call time "the third dimension", and that would cause confusion when they wanted to talk about the third spacial dimension.

That's a slightly odd one. Meta can also denote something that is behind or comes after, and metaphysics was the discipline Aristotle treated after he was done with physics.
So metaphysics is what you study after you're done with physics, which for some of us is never.

I showed this video to my freshman classes today, as we just finished tranformations. It had mixed reactions. One class seemed to understand your sense of humor. My respect for them increased greatly. My highest achieving class did not understand. It makes me wonder about them.
To be fair, the class that understood had more artistic and creative sides than my other classes.
