It's in Mozart that pianists really show themselves . Beethoven's imagination does the work for us . Radu Lupu is the most amazing and so right Waldstein any of us will ever here. Richter and Gilels so great but their Mozart ain't so hot . Barenboim,Uchida,Escenbach,Levin ,Haskil many give us great Mozart playing with great judgement . This I will never care for .Mozar needs more than fingers and this style - NONONO ! And yes I've heard Russians and East europeans play divine ozart !
