    Just picked up a Bronson 1955 MA1, it is so well made and full of great details. I am an avid collector of military clothing and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality. You can spend a lot more and not beat the overall look and feel of this garment, kudos to Bronson.

    Bronson has a beautiful repro newsboy cap. I have it in tweed but definitely gonna get it in denim this summer

    Agree on vintage. Seen the all uncreative and low quality items mainstream fashion brands churn out these days, wearing vintage comes off like wearing Haute Couture. I also agree on items made to last. I have my Versace tacky shirt from 1994 and I will keep rocking that piece once a year until I croak 😂. So all the items I have I truly love and want them to last me a lifetime. I think now in fashion you can wear anything you want and that is beautiful. I hope this trend of freedom stays for long time. I think times when everyone wanted to look the same are far gone. Also wearing visibly worn out pieces with mending and stuff is becoming acceptable which only adds to endless options of what we can wear. I think that the death of global mainstream trends and big brands influence on style choices of masses is actually a good thing. Freedom forever 🤘

      Dude I totally 100% agree with you! The beauty of mass exposure of content, style, and trend has provided a fashion platform that allows everyone’s individual style to shine regardless of what may or may not be “hot,” and todays fashion scene focuses more on what looks good and is true to the individual, rather than abiding by the “fashion norm” that is dictated by large fashion organizations and fashion brands to turn over a profit. We are living in an age where the authenticity in aesthetics is not only coming back, but is appreciated and I’m so here for it! 🔥🙏🏽

      Also, I totally agree with the high quality, lasting clothing stuff too. Because of inflation and the whole “minimalist lifestyle” movement, brands have to highly prioritize their quality much more, as the time factor and how long a garment lasts is becoming an industry standard now (excluding the super low-end fast fashion) which I’m so here for. And that gives room for the new, smaller, and innovative brands to shine, which I’m so excited for! This is honestly the most excited I’ve been when it comes to menswear in such a long time 🔥🙏🏽

    You’ve got some solid vids man keep doing what you’re doing and just to be petty you need 2 or 3 more curls in that mustache by the next vid! 😄

    Suits will never come back. We have gone to far into the casual side to turn back. I have one sports jacket for funerals and interviews plus about bow tie. I added more flannel shirts to my wardrobe this winter. I reduced my polo shirts to three.

    I think ur right - I'm not at all a fashion guy and kind of random to this channel and much older than u but I really think u are right about the textured jackets coming into fashion and will class up streetwear more - i can totally see that happening if it hasn't happened already it will be a lot more common now yeah.

    You are obviously a flamboyant man but u need to look out of your box into some masculine trends ie. streetwear, what components can you take from that. If you think streetwear wasn't BIG in 2023 you are mistaken

      Straight up. The only floral in my wardrobe are the remnants of that rosebush I crashed my motorbike into.

    • @binaryvoid0101
      @binaryvoid0101 5 месяцев назад +8

      Streetwear is not fundamentally masculine, it's quite inclusive actually. Heritage, Americana, denim, textured fabrics, and tailoring are all traditionally masculine which leaves the floral prints. It's 100% okay if they're not your style/vibe but to imply that they're unmanly is really just you projecting your own insecurities.

    Interesting. I just saw another video saying old money is on it's way out. Though, that guy was wearing a basic ass du-rag. LOL.
    I completely agree about the denim, though. I feel like it's been in the background since work from home has been lifted. Now its time for the big blue guns to come out again.

    The pleated pants with side adjusters as well as Gurkha pants emerging as trends in men's style in Indian cities such as Chennai.

      I’ve been saying for a while Indian cities have been becoming some of the most fashion forward and pivotal cities in Mens Fashion for a while so I’m definitely not surprised. I hope to see even more of the Indian influence as well as talented Indian styles and designers and what they will do with the coming fashion scene 🔥🫡 It’s quite exciting to see what they are doing!

    Why do you prefer buggy shapeless clothing over more traditional one?

    • @AlejandroJomar
      @AlejandroJomar  9 месяцев назад +5

      I enjoy a healthy balance of both. I feel that there are some fabrics that naturally just look better in a drapey, flowy sense. Stuff that moves and flows with body movement, you know? And then on the other side, there are fabrics and clothing that looks better closer to the body. I suppose I appreciate both. I also tend to gravitate toward more natural materials which have very little stretch usually, especially when it comes to pants, so to a degree they’ll never be 100% fitted to the body without the blend of a synthetic stretch fiber. There’s a time and place for both to me. But no style or way of dressing is right or wrong, and there is room for both to exist happily for those who choose whichever way they want to dress 😁🙏🏽
