i appreciate your takes on industry motivations given throughout the video, that kind of info is helping me to improve my ability to set and predict trends. thank you
This review of the shows was amazingly well thought out and presented. You picked such interesting elements from the shows and the examples you chose to show us in the video are very inspirational. I am a feminine female but I very much like menswear inspired clothes and often find menswear more interesting. In fact I wear clothes I bought from the men’s section. When I was watching this video I realised something very interesting. It looks like to me, that the menswear runway shows are no longer about just menswear. It seems that the male models and the clothes they carry are in fact meant to anyone, male or female, who relates to their vibe. I didn’t see menswear, I didn’t see men, but designs that inspired me.
Hey Leo! This one’s a vintage find. But I think you can get it from here as well: de.vestiairecollective.com/damen-kleidung/jacken/marc-cain/kastanienbraun-leder-marc-cain-jacken-42592181.shtml
It can definitely seem like designers are collaborating behind the scenes 🙂🙂 but in reality, I think it's more about market demands and industry trends / dynamics. Also brands try to predict what will sell best in the future.
i see the "homeless" look of the past couple years is still continuing. its interesting how a bad global economy and rise in homelessness and immigration in europe and america has influenced the designers based on what they see on the street. people. immigrants, illegals, and homeless dress wearing multi layers, oversized clothes, and dark muted colors. pants inside socks. etc. then that influenced the college kids to wear the same style...vvbut with added vintage thrift shop additions ...the style reflect the times.
Giorgio, your fashion channel is truly the best I've seen in years. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much!

They have trend forecasting companies that keep them briefed. Like Pantone for color.
