I didn't think you could pull it off. The lich's spell does a flat 100 shock damage, and it constantly restores 10 health and magicka per second, meaning you need to be able to lay on a lot of DPS to even hurt it.
Ah Morrowind, beautiful in its janky coding. One of my all time favourite mods changes the entity collision boxes to actually conform to the volume that the entities take up instead of the vanilla collision boxes which are needlessly enormous. This means that you can walk past someone who would otherwise block a doorway, stairwell, narrow hallway, bridge, etc...
My favorite added a bunch of wooden plank scaffolds with salespeople and cargo around and between the cantons of vivec, which lent it a much more exotic feel.
Or you could just go to sadrith mora imperial shine and make intelligence potions that stack over and over, make insanely powerful potions, become a god and never need money again.
I think "Resist Magicka" in Morrowind doesn't reduce the effect of Destruction spells with flame, frost, or shock damage, which is why your orc kept getting maged. Personally I think it doesn't make any sense for it to not reduce those spells, but I don't work for Bethesda
@@MickyD yeah. resist magicka is for debuffs or effects that directly affect stats. basically anything negative that isnt fire, frost, or shock damage.
I mean, that's because resist frost/fire/shock/poison/paralysis are a thing. If resist magicka protected you against all magicka it would be a thad overpowered, but I agree that the name is a little bit misleading. It should be named "resist non elemental magicka" since it does protect you against non elemental destruction spells such as damage health and drain health
Bc of how resist magicka works in Morrowind, I think Nords are perhaps the best race for minmaxing. In addition to the frost resistance they have in other installments, they also get shock resistance. For minmaxing in Morrowind or Oblivion, you want a race that starts with 50 endurance to get it to 100 ASAP, and Orc and Redguard passives are bit shit compared to Nords. In Oblivion, I think that orcs may be the best though.

I remember fondly the one time I tried Fort Frostmoth and cleared it out. Never set foot in the place since tho, lol Also, I don't know if you know this, but in Morrowind, if your fatigue is empty/low, your chance for successfully casting a spell is reduced. That's why your healing spell keeps failing. It also plays a part in why you keep getting knocked down, too.

This is super awesome. I give thanks to the algorithm for putting this video in front of me. I also give thanks to all the work you put into producing this video!
I am pretty sure that's more patience than I have right now. LOL Well done!!
"I'm sure you'll fit right in." - dock official = "Fuck off, Outlander" - every Vvardenfell citizen
That fight alongside companions was hilarious >.
I didn't think you could pull it off. The lich's spell does a flat 100 shock damage, and it constantly restores 10 health and magicka per second, meaning you need to be able to lay on a lot of DPS to even hurt it.
"How many different playstyles and how brilliant some of the systems are"
*inhales sujamma*
When that nord showed up to get that slaughter fish. made the video
these videos legit got me out the gutter, everyone of these is so good man :)
I remember raiding the spooky island with a high level character and just flying to the end, feels like a half made mod.
I was watching the cantina and found also your channel, you are great bro
You such a nice guy, wish i had a friend like you!
Maybe a tip: you can spam taunt on an NPC during persuasion to force them to attack you, so you don't get a bounty.
Easiest way to get both Glass Armour and Umbra, lmao
@@jksmellie for Umbra all you have to do is talk to the Orc anyway, and just challenge him.
Only way taunt works is with a decent enough personality skill, otherwise they don't give a flying rats ass.
your pain was worth it this video was really good, also i think the first deus ex would fit your channel.
First time playing morrorwind I was so surprised when my companion kill me with magic
22:42 ahh the tactical save after an autosave. Never gets old
"I don't recommend people download this. It's not worth it."
"This is one of the most epic conclusions to ever happen in history."
@@superchroma what is the name of the mod?
Haha, you thought this would be the longest one.
I was niave back then
I don't know about you, but Morrowind is still a beauty.
"I can take these guys from the back" 😳
You can technically farm infinite gold with alchemy in Balmora by making a certain potion with infinite respawning ingredients.
Or you could just go to sadrith mora imperial shine and make intelligence potions that stack over and over, make insanely powerful potions, become a god and never need money again.

Yay the nord made it! That mage was hilarious!
I don't watch Morrowind stuff but this was nice, good job! LOL. As an Irish-American, it's relaxing to hear your voice, lol. GOD BLESS
I love it thanks , isnt just awesome when u win a challengue like this that make u almost going nuts
The orc closest to the stairs on the first floor has an ebony longsword. You can taunt him til he attacks and yup free ebony sword
Nice to see someone beside me and Contrapoints playing Morrowind!
My new battlecry?
"Come Here To Me!"
Great vid! What a gem of a channel too! Subbed
I think "Resist Magicka" in Morrowind doesn't reduce the effect of Destruction spells with flame, frost, or shock damage, which is why your orc kept getting maged. Personally I think it doesn't make any sense for it to not reduce those spells, but I don't work for Bethesda
Huh, that's interesting. I completely assumed it would be that way. That's a strange oversight I guess
@@sugoha_2548 That's why Bretons are so strong in Oblivion, that and you have the same voice as Jauffre
Never occurred to me that one of your first interactions in the game is the guard saying "I'm sure you'll fit right in," then you spend the entire game almost being called the N word
I remember fondly the one time I tried Fort Frostmoth and cleared it out. Never set foot in the place since tho, lol
Also, I don't know if you know this, but in Morrowind, if your fatigue is empty/low, your chance for successfully casting a spell is reduced. That's why your healing spell keeps failing. It also plays a part in why you keep getting knocked down, too.
He knows, he just doesn't gaf
"Im gonna swim to Seda Neen!"
I fell this. I once accidentally dropped my controller and killed boatman for Solsthiem and would have to swim back to Vvardenfell...
Almasliv Intervention will take you back to Vvardenfell
@@Justin-rq6kf I wish I thought of that then lol
I was playing a full warrior nord so it would have taken forever to cast anyway

New drinking game: Drink every time Micky says "after" (he says it like 50 times in this vid 😂)
You want money but didn't steal the platter...
Feels like cheating so I don't use it
@@MickyD wait what. Everyone steals the platter.
Yay for random number generators and perseverance! The odds may be against you, heavily against you, but don't give up! With enough save and reload, one day, one shining special day blessed by The Gods, you'll win that lottery!
I really like these videos. Keep it up!
I like your style and your videos. Keep up the good work!
Thanks man!
I would definitely buy a remaster of this game on the PS.
Did you know Solstheim from Skyrim is a remake of an identical location in a Morrowind DLC?
Please check out the project called "Skywind" here on RUclips :)
PS? You mean - that console where Bethesda's games runs like hot garbage?
nothx
@@SpecShadow
Yeah, if I turn my console upside down I can manage to get 10 FPS.
Good old morrowind I remember doing a spell in both Morrowind that was totally broken, it was like absorb 100 health for 3 sec and touch but damn it was useful.
I also remember in Morrowind making a Ring that had 6 points of permanent levitation just in case I fell into a hole and couldn't get out.
OpenMW includes a setting to enable followers auto attack, so you don’t have to attack every enemy for them to pitch in.
You saying potions with your Irish brogue is magical!
Imagine ending up with the mage as a permanent companion...and he ends up being unkillable, and impossible to shake off :p
That’s just Solas in Dragon Age.
The fact that you instantly saved after falling through the floor incase the game crashed had me laughing
the whole thing played out like a monty pyton morrowind movie lmao great video mate
2021 and I'm watching new morrowind content lol.
your voice, is awesome, and you are truly a "grand lad" and perhaps the lord of ireland!
Mate I'm happy that you managed to get this done!!
The end boss was a challenge but was able to get him down with several exclusive reflection and resistance potions and a lot of restore health and fatigue potions. Also used Goldbrand and still took some time to kill him.
I never knew this was the guy who makes all those morrowind memes
The assassin was the true victim.
you know it's going to be a good video when Micky is violently frustrated and they haven't even gotten to the dungeon yet lol
Things learnt: for the boss bring lots of dispel and reflect potions.
visiting from the algorithm. might stay
tcl is always allowed in any challenge to make up for "it just works" Todd Howardism.
The nord towards the end must have found a gift shop to disappear
