  • When it comes to setting up the Nikon D750 for bird and wildlife photography, very similar to the Nikon D850, this is how I like to do it. The Nikon D750 is an entry level full frame 24MP camera very popular with beginners right through to professionals. Recently I was asked on my channel if the Nikon D750 can be set up similarly to the more advanced Nikon D850 when it comes to bird and wildlife photography. Short answer is "yes". See how I like to do it showing photo samples from the D750 and I also touch on the best budget telephoto lenses to use with the D750.
    You can watch these exact Nikon D750 settings put to the test on my latest video 👉 • Nikon D750 | My BIRD &...

Simply purchase my images from around the world on many different products, including canvas prints, photographic prints, framed prints, clothing, phone cases, throw pillows, greeting cards and more. I'm not a Nikon user but am glad I stopped on until the end as I may be looking at the Tamron 150-600 for my current project so the more information the better. Hi Adrian - Thanks for this video its fantastic and I love this setting on the D750- Quick question for you, when Im setting up for a time laps do I just set the focus once on Af-l button or do I turn off the AF-L button to OFF in that instance ? Thanks Pen

    • @adrianalfordphotography
      @adrianalfordphotography  3 года назад +2

      Hi Pen - thanks heaps for watching. If you're doing a time lapse you are correct in that all you have to do is hit the AF button on the back of the camera once to get your initial focus point. Then start your time lapse. The camera will stay focused on that point until your time lapse is finished or until you hit the AF button again and select another point to focus on. Hope this helps. 🙏

    Hello, Adrian I'm learning a lot from your videos😁I recently bought a d850 following the d750 through a second-hand transaction😅
    So first, I changed the setting of the camera the way you told me By the way, I usually want to take pictures of the players at the football stadium, but I have a question
    Why did you designate the af-on button function as a group focus method in the d850 setting and set the single focus function in the preview button🤔And is it not good to raise the maximum of ISO sensitivity too much? I wonder if there is a need to designate it as 20,000 or more
    I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there is a difference between the setting of the video that is helpful for shooting birds and the setting that is helpful for shooting sports games😉👍

    • @adrianalfordphotography
      @adrianalfordphotography  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching. I assign my AF-ON button group area focus as that is the focus mode I use mostly for both birds in general and birds in flight. Single point is for birds sitting mainly on branches. Anything over 6400 ISO and your pictures start to get very grainy on both the D850 and D750. However in my next video out next Saturday the 29th of October I use a cheap program to fix high iso issues like noise and it is especially good for birds which I'll show. Have a great weekend 📸🙏

    super tricks ! when bird is still, doesn't GRP focus select the beak instead of the eye,... and so less good than single point ? If we now extend it to fashion photography where the girl moves towards you or perpendicular to you and you focus with GRP on eye. no risk to focus on noze, ears,... instead of eye as we woul have with sony a7r3 or z6II (when it works) ?
