An emulator is something that in some ways exploiting the work of console makers, by making it possible to play games without having to buy the original system. But this is usually seen as a positive things, because emulators are free to use, and sometimes even open source: the creators of the emulators are not trying to make money out of it, but instead trying to make it possible to play games on different systems, for nostalgia, confort of use, or other reasons. GameSir is not only forcing people to pay money to be able to use the emulator, but also didn't even made the emulator themselves: they ported an existing emulator (Yuzu) to Android to sell their controller more. And it also breaks the principle of an emulator: since you can only play this with their controller, you have much less flexibility and always have to carry it with you. Not only it's paid and barely work, but you have to carry around a specific accessory, when you could simply carry around a Switch Lite. Sure, for cheaper, but you get the point. The controller is not even good, compared to similar ones made by Razer.

People gave them shit for stealing codes but when will PCXS2 available in Android? Its been years since Daemon released that chargable emulator. Clearly there is an effort done on their part as well. Hate them for stealing, but dont hate them for innovating and filling up the market gap.

I got one, but I'm just not using the switch emulator. It's just the best usb-c controller imo, so i'll be using it for emulators and gamepad enabled android games, streaming, etc.. to use with my old Razer phone..

Mapping controllers... is there any way to inver the Y- axis for shooter games? There are in game settings for controller support but since Mapping controllers don't connect VIA controller support the option to invert Y- axis doesn't work.
I got one a while ago and I have a oneplus 5t with that same case. Initially it didnt connect but i noticed my phone was stuck on the rubber grip inside the controller so I seated my phone completely and gave it a quick squeeze to complete the connection and viola. No problems sense. Its a nice razer kishi alt in my op been using it with gba and ds emulators and love it.
I use mine with a note 10+ in a case and I noticed with a dbrands case on it it was not connecting and with my phone out of the case it was not even touching the rubber of the controller on the port side. I just trimmed the rubber off the controller on the port side and my phone fits perfectly in the case and the rubber of the case takes the place of the rubber that used to be on the controller and the extra thickness of the case removed all the flex. yuzu issue aside this is the best, imo, controller grip I have ever used and I use it for all my emulation currently until I get my Aya neo
Btw I think cramping is due to the placement of the buttons and sticks. They are way worse that the joycons. They are far from ergonomic in any shape or form.
I bought it, but it doesn't work on my Mi A2 without the charger, the blue light does not turn on. It only works when I connect the charger and restart the phone Dx

No analog triggers is a deal breaker now the Razer Kishi is out. For usage outside of the switch it's the better controller and it also has a decent enough dpad. As such this is dead on arrival.

So you're being negative about this controller just because of switch emulator controversy? It's actually really dumb to even think that a smartphone can be power full enough to play switch games. Yeah they maybe lied about that but come on.. I got this controller and it is seriously the best controller and most comfortable controller I have ever used for a smartphone to date! I've used multiple ipega and moga controllers, I've also used the premium once such as the glap play and the razer kishi controllers and they're not even as comfortable as this one. I only bought it for mobile games and mainly emulations, so I'm telling you this controller is literally the best and definitely worth $65! Although I was willing to pay the full previous price..
the new 2021 version of the controller has a dpad. they havent fixed the size tho. As for egg ns... wouldnt suggest using it as i believe egg ns is just stolen yuzu code. if you want a controller for emulation i would recomend the saitake 7007X or 7007F... its way cheaper and way more comfortable.

The controller is fine. The emulator is shady and will never fully work. It wouldn't shock me if the emulator is doing the same thing DamonPS2 did in where it's getting a lot of hacks to run those games (obviously they stole code like DamonPS2 did). Honestly if gamesir priced the controller $60 at first and with no Shady switch emulator, people wouldn't question supporting them and calling them shady. (even though I've heard bad things about their customer service)
It's way to small if you have big hands. My hands cramp horribly with this. I have the gamesir X2 to my son and I end up just using my ipega 9167. I wish I would have seen your video before my purchase.

Razer kishi is excellent. Can't play switch emulator but everything else is great. Good build quality and even works on ps4 remote play with pstreamer app
Man I just wanna play XBox Game Pass and CoD Mobile really don't care about Switch. As for handling if you have so much trouble with putting the controller in the palms of your hand why not switch to bottom pinky support? Then you can place your hands at whatever position you want on the controller.
i agree. I have this controller and in terms of design it should be taller so as to avoid cramps.. Also the d pad should have been made into a switch lite d pad type.. i have a galaxy s20 and it works correctly with a case

Bad D-pad, not suited for street fighter 7. Size limitation is bad since phones are getting bigger each year 8. You might need to take off your case because the usb might not fit

If I try to play games through the Gamesir app it tells me "Phone doesnt support g-touch, please use v-touch". If I play the game without going through the Gamesir app it S|TILL ||W|ONT WO|RK. it get weird. sticks wont function correctly, the mapper wont open there is no green floating widget, COMPLETE CRAP PRODUCT.

First thing I noticed: Nintendo Switch in the background. First expectation: a Gamesir X2 and Nintendo switch comparison.
Anyway, at 4:20, what was going on there in the background? It looked like a completely different video of you playing something.
I think the razer kishi does this style of controller better since it actually has analog triggers.
