Chin curtain locks in nice on this one. Wind noise is cut down quite a bit, still a little loud than some other helmets out there, but it’s a a really lightweight helmet w the carbon fiber so, kind of the trade off.
My question is how much air flow gets into the helmet? I use full face helmets for the colder months, and i live in ohio so I'm talking about 40-60*F. Can you close off the vents at all?

EfferusZangetsu I get that, but on the other hand they started off as a snowboard helmet company so I’m pretty sure they had that in mind...at least I hope they kept in mind to make the helmet for all season
Do you think these ruroc helmets are on par with shoei? I really like the rurocs but I was sold on shoei because of how extensive their crash testing is. Personally, I want the best product protecting my head

What appeals to me about these ruroc helmets is how light weight they are and how they've integrated the bluetooth speakers/mic system. Besides that, I can't justify the price when I've already got a good helmet that's working perfectly fine for me (and was fairly expensive as well)
@@lancehackett152 gotta get what's best for you. My shoei is really comfy and queit. I can talk on the phone (via my sena bluetooth headset) without yelling and people never even realize I'm on my bike. If you go with a sheoi I'm sure you won't regret it
i contacted Ruroc, they advise that there is further details to follows about possible options for getting the new visor locking system, and pinlock visors being possibly able to fit to 1.0 version. I look at atlas being a late spring to early autumn helmet only for us in the UK. i do use custom earplugs when riding with any helmet to lessen the wind noise effects on my ears. It is a shame that the shock wave does not do rider to rider communications.
Just ordered the El Diablo Atlas 2.0. Says I won’t be getting it until April 30th. Although l, I can’t wait to get it. What do you think about the shockwave system?
as a local on the west coast of florida, i have become a fan of full face helmet, even on a harley. there is just so much to helmet audio/bluetooth, that make NON-helmet more of a miss than a hit especially, since new helmets are so light, airy, and comfortable (unlike back in the old days)

I own a Ruroc Atlas platinum Ronin and apparently parts of the helmet are falling off..... The 'under-chin' cushion came out within a month not sure if it is designed like that or its defective The accessory part on the back of the helmet which is assisting the airflow is dropping off as well
The helmets look nice, but I'll have to wait for the other graphics to release with hopefully something bright and obnoxious for visibility. Currently wearing a pitch black shoei rf1200. I also love the look of your town, its has a very warm and vibrant feeling as you ride.

Get a Dyna instead. You'll outgrow the Iron within a year. Trust me, I started with an Iron and upgraded to a Dyna. Should've bought the Dyna first and saved money.

Hey Blockhead a big fan of you, i need some help here, the Ruroc Atlas 2 helmet i am so keen to get one, but atm i am using a HJC Rpha pro 11 Venom edition, with the HJC Pro, i had to go one size up, it fits really awesome! the size is 58 to 59cms the Rurocs are M 57-58cm or L is 59-60cm i'm no to sure what i should do.... i have emailed them still waiting for reply but was going to buy it today before couriers etc stop cause of Lock-down im from New Zealand - anyways keep up the awesome work

I have the 1.0 Platinum ronin and I love it the biggest thing is definitely how difficult it is to put on and take off the helmet the hook and loop adhesive even came off from forcing it on but I definitely plan to get a 2.0
Visor change still needs to be better. The little pieces to turn and remove to take the visor off will be easily lost. No tool a big step forward but still quite a bit of room to improve also.

It's super hard to capture Sena audio for a dual vlog without having this be an issue. Block's done a FAR better job of it than I ever was able to, which is why I haven't bothered publishing any of the dual vlogs I've tried recording yet.

I like ARAI, because behind, in the nape of the neck, the cervical has a slightly longer shell at the back, behind compared to other helmets, and it shelters better from the air at the rear than other helmets. in your opinion, does this RUROC helmet have a long covering shell similar to arai, or short?
It almost seems like they have their detentes upside down. It looks like it is locking at multiple positions above the opening in the helmet where it doesn't matter and at only one in the opening that is like 80% open. Helmet still looks sweet though.

I live in South East GA so i know what 100% humidity feels like in a marsh, and Ruroc was one of the first helmets I was looking at, the other one was the Icon Airflite. The Airflite has a lot of wind intake as well, and is one of the best looking helmets. But when I get my bike, those 2 are the ones I'm buying first. Ruroc also does a great job in the graphic game. Icon was the only one that had great and unique graphics. Now with Ruroc in the picture, they have competition, and oh boy do Ruroc got some sick graphics. The only thing I would like to see from them now is more customization. Ruroc is a unique company and will be one of the biggest names in the helmet industry. Curious if they'll make more models and not just the Atlas.

Do me a favor, go ride with it at 60mph+ for a while. I could barely stand my 1.0 let alone hear the music because of how loud it was. Glad they fixed the leaking visor problems along with it fogging.
Is the wind noise better then a Bell Bullit? Currently i'm riding with the Bullit but the wind noise is awful! Really like the design on the Toxin for sure!

Yeah only vent w ability to close is the chin, no options to close the others that I see. Flows a lot of wind
Not being able to close the vents is a deal breaker for me. Shame, cause I really like the design.

Looks dope but i prefer helmets with a flip up sun visor so that you can pull it down whenever the sun breaks trough

I wear an XL normally and this is an XL, fits true to size. The 1.0 was a little smaller and snug but the XL still fit me

What you’re seeing is just the camera, no post production stabilization used

How is the size fitment? Some say a M fits small so you should take one size larger.
My husband wears a M and he tried it on and said it fits him fine. Hope this helps!

Do me a favor, go ride with it at 60mph+ for a while. I could barely stand my 1.0 let alone hear the music because of how loud it was. Glad they fixed the leaking visor problems along with it fogging.

Is the wind noise better then a Bell Bullit? Currently i'm riding with the Bullit but the wind noise is awful! Really like the design on the Toxin for sure!

I think they’re more intermediate oval, not sure what Arai or Signets are shaped. Nice one on the Dyna!

I'm live in Iowa currently and there is no helmet laws here, which is pretty cool, I do have one for trips to states the do, but when I ride here I don't wear it. My Life My Choice. After watching this I might have to look into these guys! Badass looking lids!!
