    Try pouring the little one about half full and putting it on a ring.

      I had that same thought when I saw the mini skulls! How cool would that be to just fill the brain cap with skulls? Haha. Very meta.

    Be careful with the heat gun on those silicone molds. They can damage them quickly. It didn't seem to eliminate the bubbles either.

    what size dominos did to put in the box? how much resin did you use to pour the box? Does the box stay closed tightly

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  Год назад

      300-350ml. The dominoes are 1"x2" I believe, and it held the entire set. Unfortunately the lid does not stay on tight. It just kinda sits on there.

      I'd suggest using another mold, perhaps a round sphere mold in it as you pour your resin. You'll have to weigh it down to keep it from floating out tho!

    Do you use any kind of demolding products??

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  Год назад

      Not really, except a bit of alcohol every once in a while if I need a bit of help. 😊

      Thank you.I am new to pouring resin,so I really don't know the most basic things.When you use the alcohol,is that before you pour or only to use it when removing the item from the mold??

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  Год назад +1

      @@stevechance4422 Depends on the mold, tbh. If it's an intricate mold with a lot of small places for bubbles to get trapped (like the mandala coasters), I'll spray some alcohol before pouring to help mitigate bubbles. The only time I really use alcohol to demold something is if it's a difficult mold to remove from the piece. I hope that helps! 💙
