    This skull takes ~350ml of resin. I hope you like it! Everything used is linked in the description, as always. Have a fantastic day! 💙

    Put the battery pack in the bottom center like you had it, and then a couple of round or square felt pieces on each side to balance the skull. I love the color and the glitter spread out so nice!

    Have you ever used stone coat quick coat resin?It only has 15 minute work time.I was wondering if I could use it in a skull mold in 1 pour?How many pours do you typically do on a full 8 ounce size skull mold without the cavity?

    I love how the glitter is suspended soooooo well!!! Absolutely gorgeous 😍 Did u allow the resin to warm up before u poured it to get the glitter to suspend? Mine always seems to sink i think bc I'm impatient to pour but idk.

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  2 года назад +1

      Honestly, by the time I mix it up and pour it, the resin has already started heating up. Lol. But when I used to use Dr Crafty resin, I also had to wait to mix in the glitter, cause you're right. It would all just sink right down. Lol.

    I made several of these beauties but my fairy lights wire kept breaking off when manipulated. Uggggh. I was wondering if you had the same issues? I was searching for lights that have a tubing over the wire to no evail. I did find ones with abut 2 inches of tubing around the end of the wire tried to submerge some of that and the lights didn’t work anymore 😢

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  Год назад +1

      I haven't had that problem with these fairy lights as of yet. So sorry you've had that issue! Hopefully you can find a solution that works!

    How do you keep the metal flake from sinking in the mold?

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  11 месяцев назад +1

      If you let the resin sit for a little while before adding the resin, it keeps it from sinking. Hope that helps!

  • @lindao7887

    just a question about the fairy lights, the ones you recommend are 6 feet long, you stuffed 6 feet into that mold? or the 3.3 ft ones?

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  Год назад

      Hahaha, yeah, def do the 3.3 feet. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm an idiot.

    Can you use fairy lights in uv resin?

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  2 года назад +1

      Absolutely! I used UV resin to secure my fairy lights in my Letter M video! I'd just say avoid placing the actual battery pack in the UV resin and curing it as the UV light generates a ton of heat which may cause your battery to expand and no longer work!

    • @stephaniesmith91ss

    • @JustCallMeMeghan
      @JustCallMeMeghan  Год назад +1

      Yeah, this was my first foray into adding lights to my resin pieces, and I had no idea I could trim the wires down! 😆 I'm so old and used to the "if one light goes out, the whole strand of light goes out" way of thinking. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂
