This is the first of four different wedding dresses I am going to be making as a part of the new mini series on my channel! Although this dress is intended as a wedding dress, I also think that this dress in other colors would be absolutely stunning for dances and special occasions! For all those who are here because they want to make their wedding dress one day: YOU CAN DO IT. I was a beginner when I decided I would make my own wedding dress. And I finished a gorgeous garment with a tulle skirt made of 10 layers, a long train, a backless top, lace sleeves... My perfect gown!! And I didn't need a professional machine, silk or anything rare. I modified a pattern for the top and hand-drew the skirt. It is possible!! Go for a pattern and fabrics that will help "cover" your lack of skill, and that way you will stress less hahahah

You've just exhibited what I always tell people about wedding dresses: doesn't have to be expensive, can totally LOOK expensive, doesn't need to be super lace covered pearl adorned, rhinestone covered to look absolutely beautiful. The secret is in the volume of fabric. Draping a big circle gives that big dramatic royal look.

Hey! Could you make a vid that breaks down how to cut out fabric?? Like, how to measure it properly so that it turns into real clothes lool.
I find difficulty with the taking of measurements to then cutting out the actual fabric. Maybe making a video that shows you doing this on a much smaller scale?? I'd even love to see a video of you planning a design and creating in real time!

Hey, for those on a tight budget make your lining from a queen or king size bed sheet set, the mainstay microfiber ones are super soft and are 20 bucks.
Also buy or make a crinoline for draping cause it saves from having to add 1000 layers of fabric for poof.

If you give more details on how you got the measurements for the pattern pieces, it will be easier to follow your tutorials. For example, 1/4 of waist size, 1/8 bust size, etc

платье не плохое -Но взгляд со стороны-лиф пустоват не хватает отделки и убрать завязки заменив на тонкую бретель, если убрать завязки, то отделку можно пустить по бретели а лиф оставить гладким..
