This video will show you how to make a basic flower bouquet with only three ingredients: Ruscus, Statice and Mums.

How to make a basic bouquet with a spiral technique

First remove all the leaves that otherwise would go to the water. Do this to all ingredients you will use in your bouquet

Cut off smaller (but long enough to make to the bouquet) branches so that you'll get more stems to work with

Take first a steady stem to your other hand and start to cross other stems on the top of that "main stem"

Always place the new stem so that it will make a cross with the previous ones and after every stem turn the bouquet a quarter turn

Continue this way until you have used all your stems. Leave smaller stems last and place the last flowers a bit lower in the boquet

Remove all the leaves from the stems underneath your hand and below to make sure that they won't go into the water in the vase

Bundle your flowers and make a double knot to bind up your bouquet

Move stems down if needed to make sure that all flowers will get fresh cut and water to hydrate

Cut all the stems to the same level and make fresh cut for each stem to let them drink and glow in the vase
