Idk why the final game looks like that but ima leave it cuz it’s hilarious 😭 IF U ENJOYED MAKE SURE TO SUB WE ARE ALMOST AT 1K 💫
Great list my friend! I’ve never played a Pokémon game. It was a thing that started when I was older that my kids got into.
(At the expense of sounding ignorant and old lol) The series always looked aimed at a younger generations to me. I will definitely look more into Legends Arceus and maybe make that my first Pokémon.
Xenoblade is a game made for people with handicap, stupid people in this case. Is a game that plays for you, dont need to do anything, the atacks looks buggy and has lags.
I only started following you on Twitter recently, but I've loved your enthusiasm for the Tales/SO series, so I thought I'd pop in to watch your video here and I'm so glad I did! You named some really perfect titles - with plenty of my personal favorites making appearances - and your enthusiasm for each entry really shone through. Plus, as a massive Symphonia fan, I appreciate and respect people who can say "it wasn't for me, but I think you should still give it a go". I'll surely be tuning in for more of your videos soon :)
Thank you so much for such a nice comment! I’m glad u enjoyed it and yes I always recommend Symphonia because it’s a classic and I know my experience isn’t everyone’s :) will be great to see you around
This is a nice list bro and very well narrated too :)
Appreciate you my man!! Glad u enjoyed
I've been waiting for this!
Oooh some very very good picks right there.
If I may would add my pics as well
- NieR: Automata (for that fast speed fun combat, and an intriguing but depressing narrative, with some bit more polish in its designs than Replicant)
- Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition (as an alternative to Symphonia Remastered.)
- Trails in the Sky FC (if you’re into Classic turn based JRPGs with a fun little twist that have a well crafted narrative, also Trails from Zero isn’t a bad option either)
- Trails of Cold Steel 1 (an alternative if it looks more appealing than Sky and if it wins over, you can go back fo past Trails games)
- Star Ocean: The Divine Force (if you could look past some of the technical issues, and also want to have fun flying and exploring as well as enjoying a more large scale fantasy and Sci Fi story, with some truly fast speedy combat to boot)
- Scarlet Nexus (if high speed action combat, with a cool anime artstyle with a futuristic setting and hanging out with your friends is your go)
Perfect choices as well!! The divine force could easilly get someone into Star Ocean and Scarlet could have been a good spot as well especially people who like that cyberpunk style. You might have to make a video like this 👀
AMAZING LIST! I LOVE IT!!
My amazing supporter ❤️
Not a bad list!
I do believe that for Tales, the best titles for newcomers to start with are:
-Symphonia
-Vesperia
-Xillia
-Arise
I was also thinking Vespy and Xillia but Xillia is stuck on ps3 rn and Vesperia is basically as perfect as Symphonia for newcomers but symphonia is just releasing on new platforms soon
I can SO agree on Yakuza 0 feeling like a Beat 'Em Up, as well as EVERYTHING about TWEWY (including bad controls).
Do you have interest in the more JRPG-like Yakuza: Like a Dragon?
Yes!!! I actually have the ps5 version on my shelf I just have not started yet 👀 thanks for watching Unkamen :)
Definitely a solid list of newer games i'll eventually get around to playing. Personally i thought the original Persona 5 was a little better than Royal story-wise. Having done a bunch of playthroughs of the original the new characters they added felt kinda out of place to me, though i can see the appeal with starting with P5R as you mentioned in the video.
Cant wait to see you enter your retro jrpg phase with ps1 classic Legend of Dragoon or maybe Fire Emblem Sacred Stones ;) though i will forever tell people to check out the AR Tonelico series. Enjoyable cast, turn based combat paired with a surprisingly in depth Song battle system that ive never seen done since. Also has crafting for those who enjoy that/want to do oodles of damage
AWESOME comment my dude!! Giving people some extra choices :) and yes I’ve mostly played newer age JRPGs so getting into the more retro side will be fun :)
Awesome list, you just earn yourself a new subscriber
Thank you so much :) more vids to come
@@SweisSenpai awesome glad to hear that
I'm a beginner, I'd have to say Persona 5 is my #1, it's the only JRPG that I didn't even have to look online what to do, everything came naturally in the game, I was never lost or stuck in one level, unlike say DQ11 where I was clueless where to go or what to unlock to have a quest available. I started to figure it out right after finishing Act 1, while with Persona 5, it was like playing a typical single-player adventure game with RPG elements
List is fantastic
thank you so much :)
Symphonia was great! But if I were to recommend another tales game in place of Symphonia I would probably recommend Vesperia for strong gameplay and characters.
Vesperia is also fantastic for newcomers :) I didn’t put it because I’d say mastering that combat is a bit harder than others
@@SweisSenpai
Yeah that I admit. I did not recognize how great the gameplay is until after my second playthrough. And it does take a while for it to get really crazy.
Exactly, but still could deff be a great starter game
Dude life is too short😂. Jokes aside, I love that nowadays it's practically very affordable to be a gamer. They release so frequently that I can't keep up and I'm good with just buying the 3 year old stuff for cheap 💟
I agree!! Some people get overwhelmed but I’m like hey way more games for me to play 😁
It is a fine list but you are missing out by not going back before ~2000. Wild Arms, Suikoden, FF4,6,9, Chronotrigger, Phantasy Star 4, Breath of Fire 4, Lufia, etc. all very good stories and easy to digest
Great choices! I’m glad u outlined them, I’m not much of a retro gamer so I have not played those but I’m going to eventually :)
5:19 OH SHIT I SEE MY NAME IM ON TV HI MAAA
BLITZ COMING IN WITH THE RKO CHAT IS DONE
@@SweisSenpai AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE CAUSE STONE COLD SWEIS AUSTIN SAID SO! 🍺
Oh hey, you're the first person I've seen on youtube who knows how to pronounce LiveALive
LOL let’s gooo
Played DQ on xbox😊
Love to hear it!!!
Dragon quest 11 s is also on PS4
Yes! I was just mentioning the switch version, but thanks for clarifying
"number 20 on the list, Dragon quest xi...."
Ah.....this is going to be a good list.....
Dragon quest just goated
what is your setup for recording. your voice sounds so crisp and clear
also first video I saw of yours and gotta say well done. Subbed!! good work
Thank you so much I appreciate that 😁 I use a Yeti Blu mic it’s not that crazy
Huh? Dude clearly needs a pop filter. The vocals are terrible lol.
I would have put tales of vesperia on the list but that's just me.
That’s another great intro to Tales :)
Nino kuni remastered and chained echoes!
Great choices too!!
That pokemon spot was a joke right? What is the actual number 1 spot?
0:01 what game is this?
Tales of Xillia 2!
Your videos remind me of some other youtube channels that cover RPGs, so I subscribed. lol If you are interested in other RPG youtube channels, you could check out SuperDerek RPGs, Davidvinc, The Kiseki Nut, LadyVirgilia, Backlog Battle, The Gaming Shelf, Miss Bubbles, PlayerEssence, SwitchRPG, NihonFalcomSince1981. Maybe you've heard of some of them already.
I have! I am friends with some of them lol I love all of their content. Thank u for the sub :)
Tales of Symphonia FAILS to be an RPG. The names are already set, it’s not turn-based, it’s more of a beat-em-up!
