Final Fantasy 9 stands out on it's own, the charming and beautiful classic fantasy setting with sprinkle of sci-fi plus the dramatic dark parts of the story, it's full of bright and dark moments and in between, so collectively it's a perfect old school FF, but if someone wants a bit more mature setting then FF12 is what I suggest. Never really bothered too much with others and some FF games I can't stomach at all. I still to this day don't understand the so called hype over FF7. Back in a day next to no one cared for it, heck even the looked over FF8 I remember having more hype then 7. I basically asked and waited for FF9 and happy that it happened, there were plenty of other genres and games in general in between so it's not like we craved a FF game. The older pixely games have good stories but they are quite dated for some people gameplay vise and somewhat repetitive too. BUT if a player likes those type of games more then obviously rather suggest those over the mentioned above. So it all boils down who likes what type of styled games and not much which one is important to what since they are mostly standalone entries anyway even tho some FF games have ties to some other games and have spioffs that some even are more fun then the OG entries. So there is that too ...
I actually agree with your Terminator/Alien example: everyone knows the sequels and most people seen them on TV or whatever, but so many ignore the first ones and it's just not the same experience not watching the original film. Surprisingly, Final Fantasy I is NOT awkward, apart from characters starting with no equipment, it's VERY accessible. There are moments where you can get lost but those are in every game (my friend dropped FFVII twice when Yuffie stole his materia and he didn't know what to do next). Get a guide, I guess, but playing FF1 is something really special because it feels like a proper D&D game but Japanese.
Your pick for starting FF games are actually the exact ones I would have picked as well. I think depending on what you're looking for there's two distinct "eras" of Final Fantasy that give two good starting choices: If you want the classic retro experience (the pixel sprite based ones) then FFIV is perhaps the best starting point. It's where Final Fantasy really hit their stride in terms of story. You can feel their confidence in their product finally after the first three being experimenting. And as for the more modern ones. Oh YES it's FFX. It's incredibly accessible being on everything, it's got a fantastic story with excellent pacing where the lore is divulged in palatable bite size portions where you never truly feel overwhelmed at any moment. It's beginner friendly with easy to figure out mechanics and well explained tutorials. It still holds up visually and looks fantastic in some scenes even compared to modern titles today. The voice acting for the most part ranges from "fine" to fantastic. It's soundtrack is a KNOCKOUT. It has the best turn based battle system with ctb bar. It's got lots of endgame content. Can I praise this game enough?!! I really can't. it's just such a solid masterpiece of a game and easily worth your time playing. I haven't had a single person play this game and not enjoy it. It truly is something special.
Experienced FF fans feel the same way as everything stated in the video. I gave the exact same score going off of his scale for every single game. That’s not to say the games with a low score are bad! On the contrary, some of the poor starting points are extremely good games in their own right. FF8 music, world, characters are so charming. And unlike many others I really like the story as well. But it has a whole host of problems. Even still, FF fans who look for the same value of content that I do love this game just as much. It’s not the best, but like XII, it’s a damn good one.
I played them all in order of release over the span of a year and highly recommend, seeing the evolution of the games with each entry was so awesome as well as understanding call backs to previous characters etc
I personally started with FFX when i was a kid, my mother had it on PS2 and i picked it up there, it came out when i was born but i quickly fell in love with it and picked up the hd remaster on ps3, later on switch then on PC and have played it over and over, its a great starter for the start of the more modern and more intensively rendered games that would come later, i have a very soft spot in my heart for the franchise and am excited for XVI to arrive on PC because i can't justify to myself to get a PS5 just for that game alone, not yet
So, I've played 1-10, 12, and 15. Never finished 8, 10 (90% or so, bounced off Sin), or 15, but am familiar with them through retrospectives. I largely agree with Jordan here. FFX or FFIV would be my recommended starting points, with 15 getting a nod for being the most up to date (discounting 7R because I agree you should play OG7 first).
My first (and favorite to this day) final fantasy was 4 on the snes, but I played it on release. At the time it was a big step forward in every way. While it has aged, it set the template for what final fantasy became for a decade. If anyone decides to go with it, I recommend the psp version.
You’re right, because I started FF with 6, it’s hard to play other games before or after without comparing. My other favorites are 9, 10-2, and 12.

I started with IX... but I knew FF before because I watched my friends play VII and VIII. Then I played X and went back to older ones. I liked XII and XIII but I'm understand why people don't love them. Disappointed by XV because I wished we got Versus XIII instead... Great franchise, all games are different and we can all find something great in each of them.
I have played and beat several Final Fantasy games. None so far have been mainline games. I got my first real taste of Final Fantasy with The Spirits Within and then in game form with Crystal Chronicles. I have even beaten The Crystal Bearers, which I enjoyed. I recently bought the Pixel Remasters import and I'm starting with 1. I really like it and it's kinf of making me want to play Stranger of Paradise next.
Thanks Jordan, for yet another amazing and insightful perspective. I shall be sending this to the wife... I keep trying to get her to play a final fantasy, just any of them. I always suggest she start with 6 or 7, but she's more familiar with KH and the arpg combat kind of stuff, so she has been intrigued by 7r and 15. I'm thinking GENUINELY 9 or 10 will probably wind up being where she starts, I don't know. I am sending this to her meow. Hope all is well for you and the rest of the family at switchwatch! Haven't been on too much of the youtubes lately. Cheers everyone!
Oh, this video was so needed, thanks Jordan, outstanding content as always! I've never played any FF but was crazy to start it somewhere, just had no idea where. I wish you could do a same style video on other major jrpg series, like Dragon Quest and Trails. Cheers!
9 I played them all. and I started back in 1997 (final fantasy never came to europe before 7) and 9 is not only for all ages but not "hard" and has a happy ending and a never ending optimistic main character. I think you can recommend it to everyone.
As a fan of every single FF (hard to do, I know) I tried putting myself in those starting shoes. I came up with almost an identical list as you. Exceptions were a minor point added to 15 and 14 I classed as closer to a 2/5 since it was actually reasonable to learn the mechanics. Solid list and couldn't complain whatsoever. My bias is to 11 as my favorite, and one of those players still playing it. Still agree with the 0/5 on it, lol.
Another person of culture! Thank you same here. I started with 13...oh well. Always had Nintendo an Xbox, 13 was 1st too come to my house. I got stuck at 1st Bartandalus fight, found HCBailly videos finished the LP playing along with him. then started to play along with the rest of the series. I hav finished to date: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, DQ 1,2, alttp,
If you like turn based rpgs: X If you want deep lore and world building: XII If you like action games: VII remake If you like pixel old school rpgs: VI Etcetera. That would be a standard answer. There's a ff for everyone. And loving a genre doesn't really make or break it so much, cause you know, I like action rpgs like Monster hunter or Ys the most, and don't like pixel graphics anymore, but XII and VI are my all time favourites. I'll say start with the last. If you like it, you may wanna look back and see how the older entries were. Chances are that the fist one will be one of your favourites, because the more games you play, the more they feel already "seen". But who knows. Maybe you will find an old copy of ff3 for Nintendo DS and fall in love with it.
My first was tactics advanced. I love tactical RPGs and possibly my all time fave is Tactics WOTL. Amazing story with everything I could wish for. political and spiritual deception, twists and turns everywhere you look, friendships and betrayal. Absolutely incredible. Oh. And for what its worth, 7 is better than 6. I love 6. But the diesel punk setting of 7 makes it better. Sephiroth > Kefka.
7,9, and 10 were my first ones! At the time I was a kid so with seven I skipped dialogue and simply played it. With 9, I actually paid attention and got immersed. Ten….simply blew my mind.
-video- I mean franchise ends at 13:50 F the 13 trilogy once I finished the 3 games (with all trophies Btw) I've never touched another FF game again I'll try VIII & IX though cause are the only ones I'm missing besides what came after 13 Definitly agree with starting with IV although i started with X and my Fav being XII
My first was VIII or VII but i believe it was VIII, it was an incredible start, have so much mixed feelings, the Junction system was hard at first, in fact it's maybe the hardest system in the series. But once you try the hardest one first then the rest will felt easy, that's what i felt, VII is too simple with materia and IX is also simple with the equipment and abilities, so i think IX is 5/5 to be a start, its simple and anyone can understand the system well. I hardly finish the series below VII, i just don't like the graphics, and lack of characters stories for each one made them like puppets that's there only to assist you, you see in IX everyone joins you because of a strong purpose, each one has a story, that's what makes "fantasy" for me
My first was the gba version of 1, favorite used to be a tie between 4 and 6, but after remake I finally got around to playing 7 and it may be my new favorite. The more my appreciation for that one increases the less I like remake lol.
I don’t remember my first but the first Final Fantasy I beaten was Final Fantasy 12 and it’s been my favorite ever since. I like Final Fantasy 7 and I’m excited for part 2. I’m hoping Final Fantasy 16 lives up to it’s hype. I played 15 and it’s okay but it doesn’t feel like Final Fantasy.
8 was best for be because grinding was not a good thing and using its systems instead. I hate grinding and random encounters so JRPGs have to hook me with something else for he to like it.
My first was IV, favorite was VI (played them as 2 and 3 in America), and eventually grew to love V. Tried the other ones and they felt like different franchises to me.
Play the first 3, which I dub the retro arc, followed by the super arc. After playing the original 3 stray off to whichever catches your eyes. The polygon arc is pricey if you're after the physical discs.
Began with FFVIII, so a very atypical game to start with, but I loved it as a kid. My second one is FFIX, and it is also my all time favourite because of its colourful high fantasy world. I still feel very nostalgic about it.
Funny enough the first Final Fantasy game I played all the way through was 15, then I played the MMO for a while. I now have 1-7 on my switch. I'm playing them in order and I'm on 5 now, I'm loving them so much I plan on playing as many as I can get a hold of.
I started with Final Fantasy 7 then played 8 then 9. While I loved both 7 and 8, I hated 9. I guess that must have been because I didn't go into it the experience of playing the titles before Final Fantasy 7.
I'll also add that FF VII is a decent starting point purely because so many people played it as their first Final Fantasy game and a whole lot of those people became long time fans of the series.
FFXIV: accurate 😂 it is the second FF game I played in full tho, III 3d remake being my first, now I'm playing IV 3d remake cause the latest patch on xiv is basically a love letter to iv
I haven’t played all of Final Fantasy games. My favorite is FF 12. I first started with FF 3 on the Ds and I loved it then I Played FF 4 on the Ds and loved that one too. I tired FF 6 I was liking it but I never finished the game and same goes with FF 7. I tried crisis core and I love it and that is all I played so far.
@@ABitMoreJordanLol, Great video, I've played 6&7, Was enjoying both but never finished either, Years have gone by and I've decided to finally play thru a FF game in its entirety, I think I'm going to start with 9, I remember watching my grandma play it back in the early 00's and going into it myself its soo nostalgic, Ive heard alot of great things about it, Looking foward to playing it!
My first was IV on snes, shortly after it came out. But my favorite has always been VI. Even with all the hype around VII, I still preferred VI. My rankings as a kid were VI, IV, then VII. But as time has passed, IV didn't age as well and VII took its place as 2nd. I always thought this meant VI was by far the best one and stood the test of time, but I see many young people saying they started with the later FF games and can't get into any of the SNES ones and hope for a remake of VI because they can't get past the dated graphics.
Mine was final fantasy 13 part 2 just love the monster/tame u can use in your team as well as leveling them up never really seen any others like that apart from world of final fantasy and X
Personally I'd suggest an order of something like FF I (PSP), FF IV (PSP), FF VI (SNES), FF VII and then FF IX to fully appreciate the difference between the original and more modern games. Also on the ones where I think the version is particularly important I put my preferred platform since different versions of various games can be VERY different. The first six games have been redone quite a few times and the different versions can be pretty different. In particular I still don't think there is a perfect version of three as each version has problems that aren't shared by the other version and on six I still don't think they've topped the original SNES version. Also whatever you do, don't play the GBA version of FF IV because it is just completely broken.
I had no choice.....My introduction was from the beginning: I, IV, VI, VII, VIII, V, IX, X, II, XII, III, XIII, XV, and XVI. I would go that route truly. I would swap III with V (Now that there is the Pixel Remaster of III) with III to lessen the disappointment with its job system. The Pixel Remasters have made the originals easier for this generation. They are far less grindy. And the prices are a little less than the originals as well. Even II, which I just did not like the system was made easier with the boosts, so I could actually pay attention to the story and game. It is actually really good. VI will always be my top favorite. And VII is as good as it gets too. I loved VIII....not too many others did.
I started with VIII and missed A LOT of stuff. It's in my top 3 with Tactics still.... I think people should start with the most linear one, 4, ANY version, or 10. 7 holds up really well gameplay-wise but it's so ugly starting with it will turn off anyone who doesn't have Stockholm syndrome with PS1 LEGO graphics. I never played FFVII remake but it might be good one as well. BUT THEN PLAY FF1 AND 6. Don't have to finish them, just experience, the first game is surprisingly good (again, any version, with MP or charge magic), and VI is just so solid!
IV and X are 1 and 1a as starting points, depending on how old-school or new school the person is. I and VII are next, since they realistically are the ones that started the most love affairs with the series. And I actually think VIII is a better starting point than IX, even though the latter is a substantially better game. VIII is a much more standalone game than IX, which has a heavy dose of nostalgia and references to other games. There’s also the backward logic of starting with one of the lesser entries so everything after seems better by comparison.
Great video! My first FF is FFX/FFX-2. But I just want to point one thing. It’s FF2 that was the first game to have a proper story and actual characters with depths, not FF4.
I don't even have to check the video, it's 4. Because it's Final Fantasy at its most pure, without the clunkiness and obtuse story of the first 3 games. You start off with 2 unadulterated badass character types in a Dragoon and a Dark Knight. Cecil and Kain being awesome characters in their own right as well. The gameplay is easy to get into, and the first boss fight has mechanics that teaches you that not all fights will just be smacking things for high damage, you'll have to strategize sometimes or take a lot of damage. Then you have better games to look forward to after you complete 4. Of course I will watch your video after posting this though.
I played FFIX first and loved it... 5/5 for me, but I think that depending on your age, it doesn't really matter where you start. If you're under 15 and never played a JRPG, you probably can't go wrong with any of them up until and including X.
Final Fantasy V is the best one to start with. It's simple, has a good basic story (that has aged better than most games in the series), and the job system is intuitive but easy to pick up.
FF6 then FF7. After that the person should probably have a good idea which one they want to play next or if Final Fantasy is a series thry want to continue playing. FF6 is the best of the classic games and is very friendly to new players. FF7 is the game that shows the beginnings of what FF gradually became.
i mean, starting with 14 all but guarantees that you'll play the other ones. it'll just be a while.... a loong while. at this point 14 is 10 years worth of story development. it's an amazing ride but yeah... all the other titles would have to wait
In my opinion it's still FF7 original it's a good balance of retro and 2000's FF style. FFX is also a good start but it makes the previous games (kind of) obselete with it's advancements of the ATB system and voice acting. FF7 didn't make the I-VI obselete
I bought ff10 (final fantasy x) and i quitted quite early sadly, as it became incredibly frustrating: 1. You dont see the stat numbers of your crew.. you only see f.ex 345 and 25... (it should, imo, state the character like 345 / 650 and 25 / 85 ... so you always know how much your stats currently are vs whats your max number at "full hp and mp")... as i had to remember the stats for my characters on top of my head / go to the stat screen manually ooooften to check... to plan ahead regarding healing.. etc... it felt like playing in the blind... when not seeing the max stats at all times!). 2. Gil (gold) income is low and there were only a very few vendors that sold hp potions and phoenix downs.... and daaaamn, all those "random encounters"... i got absolutely slaughtered by them on the looooong road where you first meet another lady/summoner that you get to test your skills by fighting her aeon.... not a vendor in sight...all out of potions and phoenix downs.. tried using my healer a lot (which healped, her cure healed for 512), but still... ... party died and the previous savepoint was faaar back... cba to maybe go waaay back and "grind mobs near a vendor and increase the ap and talentthrees.... its bad gamedesign this... poorly planned area...aaargh" /ragequitted the game.
I played FF4 20 years ago and looed and that was it . I just played the FF16 demo and loved it , but will not pay $93 Canadian for the game . I Just started FF10 a few hours ago ,. I will find a used cd of FF16 for $30 in a month or two like I always do and try that .
I haven’t played any of the games other than 7 remake (yes I’m on the younger side lol) but I kind of disagree with the idea that you shouldn’t recommend the better games first. How am I supposed to get invested in a series if you give me the okay stuff first and the good stuff way after. I may never get to the good stuff.
The best final fantasy is: Chrono trigger. It’s beginner friendly too. The pixel art graphics still look good in todays standards. Meanwhile the graphics of older and 3D final fantasies didn’t age well.
Everyone loves 10 I just couldn't enjoy it like others it had it's decent moments but the combat was terrible with the annoyance of swapping and I don't know how I felt of the no exp and skill tree.
I started with the DS titties. So 3 & 4 on the DS, 5 & 6 on the SNES (I think), 1 & 2 are kinda rough but playable. O yeah, FF8 was my first FF title back in college! Since then I've played 15 Pocket which was God awful, 13, 13-2 and Lightning Returns (stopped 3 hours into) which were all horrible. I've stopped playing FF tittles after those experiences. Maybe I'll get around to 7, 9, 10, 10-2 and 12 after 16 reviews.
I think ff7 remake gets too much hate as a starting point i just started it playing no other ff game and honestly so far I’m not really that lost the only problem I have with the story is you don’t really know why everyone hates shinra besides them being bad and starting a war like *referring to character roles such as Tifa Jessie etc etc I’m sure it’s explained later but it honestly should be explained earlier and my second is that the game doesn’t properly explain mako as well as it should but ya Ik what it is it’s the essence of the planet but it should be explained deeper but that’s fine i personally think it’s a great starting point

VII was the first one I was introduced to. Still holds a special spot as a top favorite game.
As someone who played IX 1st i say it IS a good starting point. Everything is built to amaze you.
Or d!e with mediocrity, lame characters, terrible plotline, main antagonist is not even that interesting as other ff games
@@Ani-valentine ???? so out of nowhere bro
I completely agree. 9 is goldennnnnnn🎉 8:26
9 is probably my favorite game ever but starting with it is crazy. Most people just can’t take the older looking graphics getting into the series.
Yeah I would recommend 9, it is an easy entry for everyone and the characters are adorable.

I hav finished to date: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, DQ 1,2, alttp,
My first was Final fantasy 1. Then I finished 4, 5, 6 and 9 in that order. Atm playing 7
If you like turn based rpgs: X
If you want deep lore and world building: XII
If you like action games: VII remake
If you like pixel old school rpgs: VI
Etcetera.
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core was the very first game I played and I felt in love with the ff sega.
I played 13 first and absolutely loved it and find having playing most of the rest of the series it's still my favorite even after 4,6,7, and 10.
7,9, and 10 were my first ones! At the time I was a kid so with seven I skipped dialogue and simply played it. With 9, I actually paid attention and got immersed. Ten….simply blew my mind.
What blew your mind most? The onewaystreet world, the undemanding combat or the cringe voice acting? :)
-video- I mean franchise ends at 13:50
F the 13 trilogy once I finished the 3 games (with all trophies Btw) I've never touched another FF game again
I'll try VIII & IX though cause are the only ones I'm missing besides what came after 13
Definitly agree with starting with IV although i started with X and my Fav being XII
About to start up the Pixel Remix for my first FF ever. I guess I’ll try 4 first. Thanks!
IX reigns on top, the rest is also pretty good - excellent. No wrong point to start here ;)
My first was IV, favorite was VI (played them as 2 and 3 in America), and eventually grew to love V.
5 is a personal fav of mine.
I started with Final Fantasy 7 then played 8 then 9.
While I loved both 7 and 8, I hated 9. I guess that must have been because I didn't go into it the experience of playing the titles before Final Fantasy 7.
Thanks, I have been playing FF since PS1 times, but wanted to go back to the series. It helped me made my choice, decided to go for FFXV
Hope you enjoy it! It’s in a much more complete state now than at release
Great to know, looking forward to that!
Fantastic video. My first was FFIV on PS1. Best for me is still FFIX:)
Great stuff guy
I haven’t played all of Final Fantasy games. My favorite is FF 12. I first started with FF 3 on the Ds and I loved it then I Played FF 4 on the Ds and loved that one too. I tired FF 6 I was liking it but I never finished the game and same goes with FF 7. I tried crisis core and I love it and that is all I played so far.
It's up to people who want to play which one
I'm shocked
@@ABitMoreJordanLol, Great video, I've played 6&7, Was enjoying both but never finished either, Years have gone by and I've decided to finally play thru a FF game in its entirety, I think I'm going to start with 9, I remember watching my grandma play it back in the early 00's and going into it myself its soo nostalgic, Ive heard alot of great things about it, Looking foward to playing it!
7 was my first and I'm thankful because it got me into RPGs and my favorite series Dragon Quest
Great video
I'd say best starting points are 4 7 or 10. I started with 10 and agree it's probably the overall best one to start your FF journey
Thanks Jordan. Never played a FF game, and couldn't decide where to start on the Switch.
In my opinion, I would say that start with FFIII or FFIV and going in chronological order. Or start with FFX and go in whatever interests you.
7 was my first and you never forget your first
I started with VIII and missed A LOT of stuff.
I guess that’s true, but for me it was too simple compared to 4
I don't even have to check the video, it's 4.
Im quite a newbie, ive only finished 1 and 3 and now im jumping to 16
16 is going to be complete trash
@@westonmeyer3110 I'm getting it for the ps5, the only other ff on it is 7, which I don't wanna get into just yet. 16 is the best bet
10 was my First FF Game
Final Fantasy V is the best one to start with. It's simple, has a good basic story (that has aged better than most games in the series), and the job system is intuitive but easy to pick up.
FF6 then FF7. After that the person should probably have a good idea which one they want to play next or if Final Fantasy is a series thry want to continue playing.
FF6 is the best of the classic games and is very friendly to new players. FF7 is the game that shows the beginnings of what FF gradually became.
please do this for DQ!
i mean, starting with 14 all but guarantees that you'll play the other ones. it'll just be a while.... a loong while. at this point 14 is 10 years worth of story development. it's an amazing ride but yeah... all the other titles would have to wait
My first was FF3 on DS I got to the final boss and couldn’t beat it because I wasn’t high enough level
I don’t remember my first but Final Fantasy 12 is my favorite.
Obviously 13 is the best for beginners, since it has the longest Tutorial of all FF.
first ff game i beat was VII. i just beat it for the first time recently. next im going to play IX
Good choices
ff6 or ff5 or I would say xv maybe 7 remake for me it was 13 and I really enjoyed it and from there i went into 5 and 6.
In my opinion it's still FF7 original it's a good balance of retro and 2000's FF style. FFX is also a good start but it makes the previous games (kind of) obselete with it's advancements of the ATB system and voice acting. FF7 didn't make the I-VI obselete
Firmly believe that you should start with FF1 and play them in order.
I started with ff1 and ff10-2 is underrated.
While my first was 6, I think 4 is a solid first
My first ff was ff5 I never finished until after I beat ff4.
Its time 💪
I bought ff10 (final fantasy x) and i quitted quite early sadly, as it became incredibly frustrating:
2. Gil (gold) income is low and there were only a very few vendors that sold hp potions and phoenix downs.... and daaaamn, all those "random encounters"...
i got absolutely slaughtered by them on the looooong road where you first meet another lady/summoner that you get to test your skills by fighting her aeon.... not a vendor in sight...all out of potions and phoenix downs.. tried using my healer a lot (which healped, her cure healed for 512), but still...
... party died and the previous savepoint was faaar back... cba to maybe go waaay back and "grind mobs near a vendor and increase the ap and talentthrees....
its bad gamedesign this... poorly planned area...aaargh"
/ragequitted the game.
12 was my first and i loved it lol
I played FF4 20 years ago and looed and that was it .
I just played the FF16 demo and loved it , but will not pay $93 Canadian for the game .
I Just started FF10 a few hours ago ,.
I will find a used cd of FF16 for $30 in a month or two like I always do and try that .
Hope you enjoy 10!
To me, its still and always will be the first one.
IMO FFV is probably the best starting point followed by 1,4,6,7,9,10,12,8,15,3,2,14,13. Just skip 11 since 14 is out and far superior
The best final fantasy is: Chrono trigger. It’s beginner friendly too. The pixel art graphics still look good in todays standards.
Meanwhile the graphics of older and 3D final fantasies didn’t age well.
I love 13-2
My starter was 9
13 was 1st, 5 is BEST (FIGHT ME) 3 IS in 2ND place
Any of them is a good starting point.
I was playing XV for a few hours and it felt pretty boring. But I'm looking forward towards XVI 😊😊😊
Uh no ff 3 and 4 3D remakes are great games to start with.
I can’t stand the visual style of those
I'd say start with the best, if you don't like it, you won't like the others, saves you a bunch of time. 😂
Everyone loves 10 I just couldn't enjoy it like others it had it's decent moments but the combat was terrible with the annoyance of swapping and I don't know how I felt of the no exp and skill tree.
I start with ff8, no complaints. 😂
Thanks
I played 4,7,8,10,6,9
I play all of them,i still think ff7 is the best time to start
