No need to apologize for classic Aerosmith! Keep them coming. Thanks for sharing!
The golden years of Rock music, so many talented and creative guitarists back in those days, it was amazing.
Another "Stellar" lesson from MR Kelly Allen. It amazes me, how fast you can learn a complete song & teach it note for note with perfection! thanks for teaching killer, guitar songs on "You Tube" I hope everyone appreciates you as much as I do. Peace.. Joe.
Your Aerosmith solo lessons do well because they're super melodic, and hence, memorable. I was singing the solo in my head before you played a single note ... and I haven't listened to this song in ages. Believe it or not, I remember playing this song on my boom box in a noisy school cafeteria when I was around 11-years-old. I remember it because half way through the song some girl came up to me and said, "Turn that jungle music down!" It was the seventies before disco, hip-hop, etc., so looking back on the criticism, the groove and Steven Tyler's vocals were unacceptable to white suburbia back then in Long Island, NY. Go figure.
This dude is my new go to for learning new songs.
I'm lovin' these classic Aerosmith lessons!
Great job man you always make it look so easy. Thank you brother. Keep on rocking.
Gotta love the band. At least I do. Thanks
Love Aerosmith ROCKS!
Thanks for that lesson ! Great riff, great Brad solo. That was Aerosmith at their top 🤘
Great stuff
Finally a good lesson for this. My favorite Aerosmith song (well this and Chip Away The Stone)
They are Fantastic old Songs. Thanks!
Only got to see Aerosmith twice, in 1976 at Seattle Kingdome with Jeff Beck and Derringer, and then on their "Permanent Vacation" tour. The '76 was lousy, terrible sound, and a mile away...the PV show was outstanding, and I was really close to the stage... Their debut thru "Live Bootleg" is really the only stuff I can listen to now. These lessons are GOLD man. 100% PURE GOLD. thank you!!! check out "Heartbroken Bopper" by the Guess Who, released in 1972. Definite similarities between the 2 songs.
Aerosmith were a huge part of my musical youth. Great songs. Thanks.
Great song that always brings back memories. I consider Aerosmith and CCR the 2 greatest U.S. bands ever! Thanks, Kelly, keep the Aero coming
KDA, Thank you again for a great Aerosmith tutorial!!
Can't go wrong with any Aerosmith up thru Draw The Line. Great lesson, Kelly! Inching up on 60K subscribers! Before long, 100K!
Just fantastic work Kelly. I hope you had a Great Canada Day long weekend ♪♫♪♫♪
My favorite Brad Whitford solo! He recently did a tutorial for the solo on Premier Guitar.
After seeing you do tons of Aerosmith recently, had been hoping you'd do one of Last Child. 😊
Last Child is one of Brad’s songs. He played most of the main guitar parts. Brad has stated that he played the solo as well.
Outstanding!!!
Awesome! One of my favorites
Fabulous! I’ve been trying to figure this out on my own. Love your videos!
Great playing thank you
Great lesson!
260 views & only 75 thumbs up? Come on people.. 👍
❤❤❤ You're awesome 🎉
Awesome tutorial as always. Loving classic Aerosmith. Not sure if you do requests but keeping on the blues rock theme some classic Great White would be amazing
Killer!
Would like to see a lesson on Spaced from Get your wings great song keep em coming
Awesome sound and lesson thank you. I’m still look at to see if you could break down the good rats song taken it to Detroit. Classic 70s rock.
This and Mama Kin are my favs. Didn’t you do a compendium video of Aerosmith songs? I can’t find it.
If you keep up with these great lessons, you just might get a call from Joe Perry....lol. Excellent 👌.
Would be cool to see you break down Courage by the Hip.
I wonder if Whitford thinks of the third Bm6add4 chord as an inverted E7/B?
Hello, Mr. Allen, have you ever tried to figure out a RUSH song called "No One at the Bridge"? It's Caress of Steel. I figured out something that sounds good and is pretty close (in the 1970s.) But I'm sure that you could do it better than I did.
great job as always sir...the first few notes of the solo include double stops holding down the D string on the 12th fret though correct?
...whitford plays the solo on that one BTW
My second favorite Aerosmith song after Toys in the Attic...Too funky for white boys...
