YES! Good point. I always forget about that once I’ve done it once.

Hi. I am using a movie with my logic tracks. When i play them in logic the movie and tracks sync, but when I export audio to movie it isn't in sync. Any ideas?

Sometimes logic has issues when you export VIs to picture. To get around this I usually print to WAVs then export. In my setup, I’ve made print stems within my template so it’s bring those WAVs to picture. That works. Or make a separate sync file that only exports audio to video and not VIs.

Can this trick use on a MP4 movie in Logic ? When I change the tempo , the movie still changing shorter or longer when I’m change sone tempo

So, the clip isn’t changing length. Look at it as the measures are changing length. Faster Tempo means more measure go by in a 1 minute clip. Slow Tempo means less measures. So the clip seems to change length, but it’s not.

@@AndrewMorganSmithMusic So what should i do if i want to change the tempo but not affecting other tracks matching on movie clips ? SMPTY lock them then the tracks will follow back the measure with the clip ?

@@wingtinalvinsham134 if you want to change tempo, but don’t want to effect other regions, you SMPTE Lock the ones you don’t want to move.

    Thank you, very useful.
Have you found a way to smpte lock video files?
I’m trying to do tempo changes and it seems to move the start time of the video region.
    Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm not really sure if you can do that. IF you do want to make sure it doesn't move the movie, you'd have to make the tempo change after the start of the video. That way the start time doesn't move, but obviously that'd move hit points down the line. In my mind traditional SMPTE is to the video, so I think the video is what we're technically supposed to lock to. Hope that helps!
