I ask because I am a physics and math's teacher at the moment, with a Masters in Systems Engineering and am thinking of transferring careers. I have also spent several years writing project safety reports (PSR) for the nuclear industry and really enjoyed it. Your description of the role of a CD has really inspired me to look into this career, but I'm unsure whether I require formal qualifications? If you have a few minutes to point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
