Start or recreate your brand to “RACHEL HOW..?” I thought of how funny that was right when the video began. Especially when you said how right away! Love this video! More blessings and wealth to you!!❤️🙏😅🤣
Seriously you are a gem!! your videos offer more value than any clickbaity video title that masks itself with the ultimate answer. Sending you much love and support 🙌💖💖💖💖✨ biggest fan after watching just two videos 🥰 Keep it up
Rachel How, you have a new disciple! Seconds into this video it was obvious you knew what you were talking about. Thanks for sharing. You just made my freelancing journey a lot easier.
This is a masterpiece! Congrats Leonie! I think you nailed it with the idea that since reading is more 'democratized' and pop now, the intelectual gatekeepers need to stress a lot the diferentes between 'high culture' and 'low culture', and as you point out this has been happening with (not only) fantasy since...well...forever. Two examples: tolkien's books, neglected for decades as quality literature; and most of ancient roman and greek plays, which are now considered super intelectual but they were created for the poor and popular classes. I truly think time puts every piece of art where It belongs.
@@rachelhow It really is. For a while I was afraid I was going to scare the clients away if I charged what I truly wanted, but then I just went with everything in the video and to my surprise I haven't had a single complaint that it's "too much". I think once you become confident of your skills, people are happy to pay to get what the want.
@@esportbets Yup, if you're doing great work, meeting their expectations AND confident that you are charging what you're worth, clients would be more willing to invest in you.
Finally Rachel, the video that I'm waiting for. Really confused about pricing my design service. Btw what white paint did you use for the wall? I really love the cozy undertone.
Thank you so much for this video you inspire me a lot to chase my dreams. Sorry to bother you, is there any chance if you could show us how you edit your videos, they are so stunning 😍
Too Good ! Rachel which books should i read to know more about freelancing from scratch & solopreneurship in b2b business working from home ?? In order to minimize the mistakes while starting the journey by being prepared to face clients..
Very slick and informative video, thank you. Out of interest, what is the font you use for your captions? It looks like a lighter version of Cooper Black and is very nice.
I love your content so much!! I cannot thank you enough how much you inspire me❤❤. Are all the projects for freelancing done solo or did you do a team work with other ux designers?
All these hustlers keep telling you to "charge more charge more" as if just by doing that your revenues will grow. Plus there's no way someone making 2 million a year selling design subscriptions isn't cutting corners and subcontracting freelancers from cheaper parts of the world. You could argue that "QUALITY" isn't really something they worry about when pricing proposals. Yes, both Companies and clients prefer SaaS business models but there is a clear necessary drop in quality expectations no matter what industry we're dealing with. The more quality and price for services drops, the more in demand the high quality, retainer based exclusivity becomes more attractive to some clients. Retainer based models with aspects of value/performance (kind of same thing) based bonuses is probably the way to go if quality matters most to both client and company reputation, but it will be much higher fees up front limiting your growth opportunity at the beginning.
Amazing content!! You mentioned in some of your earlier videos that you love to code. I am confused should I need to learn coding to become a good designer? Also which job searching platform do you think is best as a beginner?
Thanks for watching :) Ah, you don't need to learn how to code, your expertise is design. I learn how to code because I'm curious to know how websites and apps work. As for job searching platform, you can try Glassdoor and LinkedIn.
Hi Rachel! Thanks for sharing this fantastic video for freelancers; I love your content and insights video. Also, I'm curious about what brand of keyboard did you use in your video(It showed in your video at 09:12/10:08); could you share with me the name of the keyboard? Thanks in advance!
