CAST is a charity helping organisations use digital for social good. We support nonprofits & funders to embed digital and design across their services, and to improve charity digital services.
We help charities and NGOs with digital funding, digital advice and training and digital strategy for innovation and transformation.
The Catalyst programme is a network of people and organisations helping UK charities grow in digital skills and confidence, and connect to the best free resources and support to make digital easier. there are programmes on digital inclusion, digital safeguarding and digital service design.

Hi Giles. This is a really informative video. Do you require formal qualifications to be a CD? I ask because I am a physics and math's teacher at the moment, with a Masters in Systems Engineering and am thinking of transferring careers. I have also spent several years writing project safety reports (PSR) for the nuclear industry and really enjoyed it. Your description of the role of a CD has really inspired me to look into this career, but I'm unsure whether I require formal qualifications? If you have a few minutes to point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
