Родные, приветствую с миром и любовью Господа нашего Иисуса Христа! Джеймс потрясает , слава Господу! Братья - молодцы! Благодарность Богу за вас, за пение, за служение. Божьих благословений!
Thank you for your comment! I understand where you’re coming from. While the Scriptures do provide answers, the song's questions can prompt deeper reflection, especially for those who might not be familiar with the Bible. It can make people think more deeply about the profound truths of Jesus's life. As a mother myself, hearing the song hits hard and makes me think deeply about the profound experience Mary went through. I truly appreciate the song's ability to bring these important themes to mind in such a beautiful way.
@@momma2mnem Thanks for your detailed comment. And I'd like to encourage to carefully examine certain songs that are step by step being introduced into the Adventist world as well as to ask questions: Who is the composer? Is there a charismatic background of this composer ("charismatic music"), are there any theological problems with the lyrics of this song and the like. In general, this is very important to do so because once a person has found pleasure emotionally speaking with a certain song, this "objective check" of a song becomes more difficult. The series "soundcheck" and "soundwars" by Christian Berdahl are very interesting giving much insight into the world of music.
Mary was Faithfull and she hast been dead for about 2000 years now. The Bible teaches in Ecvlesiastes 9:5 that the dead do Not know anything. Therefore IT IS problematic to Talk to dead people.
Where is the focus of our worship? The Bible clearly says that Jesus Christ is in the focus and this always must remain this way as only the resurrected One is worthy of worship. If Mary wasto live today she would never ever have accepted a hymn placing her in the focus.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I completely agree that Jesus Christ is the central focus of our worship, and He alone is worthy of it. The intention behind 'Mary, Did You Know?' is not to worship Mary, but to reflect on the incredible reality of Jesus’s birth and His life through Mary’s perspective. It helps people appreciate the magnitude of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. As a mother, I find it deeply moving to consider Mary’s unique experience and to be reminded of the miraculous nature of Jesus’s life. I believe the song ultimately points us back to the awe-inspiring truth of Jesus and His love for us.

Hi! From Russia Magnitogorsk. Beautiful!
Beautiful ❤
Why is it necessary to ask questions "Mary did you know?" that the Scriptures clearly already answer with yes?
