L&B Modelsport The Trx4 Sport is one of The toughest and most capable rigs out right now imo. I’ve put mine through some tuff runs and never broke anything on her, ever! 👍🏼

Dont replace the shaft they have a massive weakpoint where they narrow, get the CVD ones as they run a lot smoother than the dogbone and cup and are also a load stronger.

@@charlie3233 yeh the original one never arrived. Banggood after about 70 days finally gave in and sent me another one. It's awesome for the money but done quite a few upgrades to it now.

With those tires it's close to half the price of a TRX-4. If i the cash to burn on it, i'd still be in doubt between the TRX-4 and the Infraction. I know, whole different ball game, it's just that i'm looking into something different along side my X-Maxx. Maybe i should cheap out instead and go for a Lunchbox or something ^^

A TRX4 all upgraded....vs a stock budget...hmm wonder what wins....
Kev, I wonder if it's going so fast in reverse because the throttle is backwards. I had that happen on my slash early on, and it was very confusing for a bit.
Another thing I have noticed that make a speed difference between forward and reverse is mechanical motor timing that combined with crossed wires can really hurt the brain 🧠.
@@TK_Mo it's brushed though, so crossed wires would reverse the controller inputs as well. If that was corrected for at the controller/esc then in theory it would work normally.
@@squat224 that was my point. Now apply mechanical (motor not esc) timing and forward would be slower than reverse. If timing was set to zero, it would/should make no difference as timing isn't advanced or retarded in either direction. When you advance forward/clockwise mechanical timing on a motor, you are retarding reverse/counter clockwise timing.
This is how I'm visualizing it, please point out any flaws in my thought process, I'm not afraid to admit I am wrong. Admittedly, I personally do not crawl and only have 2 small brushed RCs. That said, when I advanced forward timing on the motor, reverse got slower and if I swapped the wires, the opposite.

I bought the RGT that has the upgraded axles and stuff,I like it alot reminds me a bit of the Axial scx10 on the chassis

Rgt-ex hi mate was thinking of getting the rgt-ex tomorrow. Just wondering if i could use one of my older conventional two stick controlers, from many moons ago....... or am i stuck with the controler that comes with the crawler.... cheers bud keep up the good work..

If it goes that fast in reverse the wires to the motor might be crossed
it's brushed, but the transmitter mixing might be reversed, which would definitely still do that.
can it run lipo on the stock esc?

I've seen a lot of cheaper ones do better than the expensive ones that cost $500 600 and even a thousand I've seen the $10 ones and a $20 ones and the $30 ones do 20 times better than the 500 and then $1,000 ones I think the cheaper ones are better to get

Who’s got opinions of the Brushless Traxxas E-Maxx?
Go with the erevo same size but much lighter and In my opinion a much better basher I have both and im selling the emaxx but nothing beats the XMAXX after 6 months I finally broke a part lol and im not nice to my rcs lol
