At the very beginning of this video, you stated that you would present a list of the best all weather tires that the viewer must see if he/she was interested in purchasing a set of this type. However, each tire you mentioned you described as an "all season" tire. You are obviously not aware that there is a vast difference between "all season" and "all weather" tires. And if that is the case, you have no business presenting yourself as an authoritative reviewer.
Vredestein Quatrac 5 is an old tyre. We had the Pro afterwards which was just a little different and since 2020 we have the Quatrac which according to tests is a lot better and really mostly first or second in European tests. Best choices are the Goodyear, th COntinental, the Vredestein Quatrac. Not Quatrac pro nor 5. I have the GY 4season gen3s. Great tyre.
Why was the Firestone Weathergrip left out? It consistently rates as one of the best All Weather tires. Up here in northern Wisconsin we swear by those on cars and CUVs, and for trucks, the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Tires you can leave on year-round and will climb through snow without issues. Of course, for those of us that switch to dedicated winter tires each season, the cars and CUVs tend towards the Blizzaks and Firestone Winterforce2.
I bought Firestone Weathergrip tires for my RAV4 three years ago. They are rated at 65,000 miles. I have put 31,000 miles on these tires. A couple of days ago, I was told I need new tires. I am not an aggressive driver. I really did like the tires until they wore out so prematurely. Very disappointed.
I used to buy long life tires but found after four or five years the rubber became harder and winter driving less safe. My driving has dropped so after four five years there is a lot of tread left when time to replace the tires.
Michelin tires have good performance but it must be used up within 3 years or all sidewalls will smiles with a thousand cracks on all 4 tires. I owned a set of 4 Michelin Primacy MXV4 premium tires. As for the 5 years defects or adjustment warranty? They give me all the best BS craps excuses of not replacing it or any adjustment. Both from COSTCO dealer and installer and their Michelin supplier representatives. Never buy again if you plan to use Michelin for 3 years plus of use.
They are longer life because they have lower rolling resistance and less traction, so of course they are going to have less traction after aging, too. If more traction matters to you more than cost per year, then yes, replace any tires after 5 years.
Go to tyre reviews page on RUclips. They get very descriptive. Winter, all weather, season, and terrain. They even put tyres up against each other cross catagories. Plus, you have a real person talking and a cpu generated voice.
My WRG4s were manufactured in 2019 and put on my car in fall 2020. I’ve put 16k miles on them and they’ve worn from 11/32 to 6/32 and a couple of the tires have rips in the tread blocks. They were manufactured in Nokian’s Russia plant where Michelin’s are also made. Their performance have been pretty bad on all surfaces besides fresh snow. So far I find Nokian to mostly just be hype - like modern Subaru.
Has anyone have the Vredestein Hypertrac or Yokohoma Advan all season? I'm considering them, but can't find a lot of real feedback from people who have used them? I have an Audi A6 so my selection is limited in what tires I can purchase. A lot of these all season are not available for my vehicle.
I've had the Yokohomas and they performed admirably; the forums also give kudos to the Vredestein's so I think you'd be good with either one. (The Yoko's were QUIET...)
Avoid Goodyear and the Michelin Defender like a plague......Toyo Extensa II is a 10x better choice...quieter, longer life, exactly the same wet performance, all are terrible in snow....but for quieter ride and best wet traction....Toyo is by far the best
Lol, 65k miles tread warranty... In Europe they test it, and no tyre is able to go that long. Some of the best all season tires has 40k of estmated mileage, other will last for only 15k miles. Including some top brands... Tyre that would survive 65k wouln not have even decent traction, especially in case of super "all around" all weather tires..
I really hate illiterate reviews by people who title their review "All-Weather" then review "All-Season". It's as if you are too inept to figure out what you have. Then we are supposed to trust you LOL
..stay away from Goodyear Eagles. Noisy and unstable tires. Bought new 'eagles' saturday, a strange blow out the following Monday coming from work. Sales guy, "...you did not purchase the hazard warranty, sorry dude..." Never again 'goodyear eagle'
Goodyear Assurance Max Life have been THE WORST tires I have ever purchased. I live in Texas so it barely ices up but when it did for the 2-3 days I could not drive 15 mph without spinnin out several times. I have about 20000 miles on these tires and every time it rains I can drive no more than 50-55 mph. You will hydroplane slip and spin out in the rain. I am beyond shocked. I should’ve purchased the Michelins. I just got some Pirelli Scorpions that came on a Lexus I bought. I have these expensiveGoodyear Assurance “Max Life’s” on a CRV 2018 and it was a huge mistake and I’m takin them off very soon.
The computerized voice and having pictured the wrong tire throughout most of the video makes this video very annoying to watch. They should just video a printed list, have no voice and brief explanation printed as to why each tire is where it is and that’s it. Everything else in his videos flat out terrible.
I don`t believe any of these BS tire comparison vids. Every one has widely-divergent ratings. Like mattresses, you guys recommend whovever supports you. I am online a lot, and I honestly don`t know one site for tire comparisons which I could trust for truthful information. These are a waste of time to watch and largely useless, IMHO

Only four out of the 10 tires in this video are real all-weather tires. The rest are all seasons. This video is misleading.

This guy doesn’t know the difference between All Season and All Weather type tires…title of this video should have been All Season!!!
Micheline Cross Climate 2??
THE best

Agreed , Firestone weathegrip should be on the list. Just ordered them on my escape hopefully I'll be happy.

Just ordered 4 Goodyear assurance westher ready
I have been using Michelin Defenders for years and love them.
Nokian wgr4 , toyo Celsius?

Why is he talking about all season tyres, the title is about all weather tyres.......
*tires
All season allmweather.
Really
If it does not have a snowflake symbol, it’s all season tire and it’s not good. Temperature when the temperature drop below 40°.
Nokian?
They invented the segment for crying out loud.

@@moxmann They performed admirably, but I live in Va and we don’t have serious winter storms.
Goodyear truck tires are good, but very poor tread life..typically under 40k miles
You missed Toyo Celius Cuv and Firestone Weathergrip..........
Thank you very much for this video.

No Pirrelli or Nokian? Not much of a list.

Not all weather tires. He has no clue.
Verdestien in regular tires dry rot very bad in hot temperatures, much lower tread life on par with wal mart grade tires...not worth the money
This is not all whether tires They are all season
very helpful.
dude said "The number 6 position is dominated by ..." ...lmao
You didn't test them against each other, making this essentially useless.
Continental.is great on trucks but worthless on cars
