8/15/19. Good job simplyfying this song with just the chords at the end of this video. SUGGESTION: While playing the song ALL the way through at its simplest form, WITH JUST THE CHORDS, sing out THE CHORDS, not the words of the song to make it easier for the viewers/listeners to learn the song. Sing out the chords through THE ENTIRE SONG. I notice that you do a once-through then don't repeat what you think is obvious, but it could be annoying to the viewer if they have to review the video to find out what those chords were again that you didn't repeat when you went through the whole song. Take care, Ryan.
Hey Ryan, I have a request, well... it's more of a challenge. If you get the time and want to tackle this I think you could get some serious followings from it. There is a song called Machine Gun Man by Zakk Wylde. It's a brilliant song and hard to play - I challenge you to make a tutorial of this song - particularly the MTV live version. It's in standard for that and I think it's the best version. Zakk Re-recorded it a couple times but they are done in Eb. Anyway, I think the community would love this song too. OH and thank you for all the tutorials, I get sooooo much from them. Especially the Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam stuff. Wishing you the best of luck with this song challenge, it's HARD.
haha hello Alan and thank you for the challenge! Believe it or not, this is only the second Zakk Wylde request, and also believe it or not I know absolutely nothing about his music! Doing these tutorials is how I learn about stuff myself, so I'm excited to tackle Mister Wylde sometime :) Thanks for the shout, and I'm really glad you're enjoying my videos!
Head Down is one of those wonderfully weird Ben Shepherd songs, and one of my personal favourites from Soundgarden. I sure do hope to see Ryan teach it one day :) In the meantime, I have a tab for it that I wouldn't mind sharing. It may not be 100% accurate, but it's pretty close I'd say. Let me know if you're interested in that, but beware: Once you start playing Head Down, you'll never stop. It's THAT much fun :) And Ryan, you can have the tab too, if you want ;)
Well of course you can! And yes, yes I did :) It will arrive on your email in a day or two, my laptop is currently sitting in one of many identical boxes (someone forgot to label all the boxes).
Thank you for all these amazing lessons!! Can I add two more songs to the request list? It would be great to see how to play Brother by Pearl Jam and About a Train by Spin Doctors :-)
Ha nice! I can almost actually play this one : )... Ryan I'm going to be in the your country come October. West coast, not sure if that's close to where you're hanging out BUT at least I'll get your youtube notifications not in the middle of the night!
you missed me by a year! I'm an east coaster now. Where are you headed? give me an exact GPS coordinate and i'll make sure my mom is there to meet you with lunch
Thanks Ryan! It looks like Mr. Gomez also has exceptional taste in music/leisure activities. It looks like I’ll be starting with the basic stummy and working up to the embellishments in time. Right now this is my 8 y/o favorite song so away we go. BTW sweet hat.
thank YOU for such a great idea :) I had a really good time working that out... curiously i couldn't find a single correct chord chart for it... you'd think that would be readily available information...
Dude tell me about it! I guess my ears are working. All the chord/tabs I found were just off by a little bit. My chord vocabulary isn’t big enough yet to do too much trial and error. Somewhat glad you ran into the same problem.
@@RyanLendt no way?! You are? You'll be fairly close by. I would love to take you to a Braves game. You will love the new park. That's great news! We'll have to meet up for coffee or something sometime when you settle in.
@@RyanLendt They were doing a big rehabilitation project at our zoo for the last 4 or 5 years with them. Trying to repopulate the Adirondack region. This is why I know. We spend a LOT of time at the zoo.
All moved! And now for the unpacking... We've spent the last week building a neat little wooden cabin which will become our very own amateur recording studio. Evidence of this will be included when I do send you the Head Down tab :)
Awesome haha. Lessons like this is what makes this channel the best. Always fun here! ⚾️🤙🏼🤟🏼

@@RyanLendt My bad...I did find your video like a day after I suggested it. TY.
I need this right now. My Braves are having a great season. Going to the world series! ⚾️
serious question - in 11 months and 20 days when I move 45 minutes west of charlotte, am I going to be a braves fan?

Might have to add this one to the repertoire. Seems like something fun to break out randomly. Thank you.

it's part of our collective brain washing :) I personally do not mind being brain washed in this way...
