    If you need help connecting your bluetooth headset ‪@PolyCompany‬ Plantronics Voyager 5200 or @Jabra Evolve 65, to your desk phone, this is the tutorial for you. This tip will also work for other Bluetooth Headsets that have companion Bluetooth Dongle Adapters like ‪@EPOSEnterprise‬Sennheiser Bluetooth Headset as well as ‪@Yealinkofficial‬ Bluetooth Headsets.
    🔦 PRO TIP:
    ☎ On VVX Phone go to Settings / Basic / Scroll down to Bluetooth Settings / Bluetooth Radio / Select ON.
    You will see "Turning BT Radio ON". Once completed go ahead and press the back arrow .
    ☎ Now for Part #2 On the VVX 600 Phone: Press Manage BT Headsets / Scan / Put the Voyager 5200 into "pair mode"...if the Voyager 5200 is in pair mode it will show it on the VVX 600 screen. Go ahead and press it on the VVX screen. Then press "Add" on the VVX 600 screen. A confirmation popup will appear if successfully added. Last step press "Connect" on the VVX screen. A popup confirmation "Headset Connected" will appear.
    You are now ready to use the Plantronics Voyager 5200 with the Polycom VVX phone.
    Now...if you work for a company where the company admin has disabled the Bluetooth feature you will need a Plantronics BT600 dongle to make it work. I don't think a generic dongle will pair with the Plantronics Voyager 5200.
    ❕And here's a tip: Get the Plantronics BT600 Bluetooth Dongle. Connect it to your PC or Mac. Make sure you have downloaded the Poly Lens app to your computer. When you launch your app check for "updates" to the dongle. Apply updates if available. Last...pair the BT600 dongle to your Voyager 5200. This will create an automatic pairing connection so that when plug the BT600 to the Poly VVX phone it will connect without any fuss. Remember...make a few test calls so that you can test out the Bluetooth range so that you have a good idea on how far you can walk before the signal cuts out!!! You don't want to lose a call in mid conversation cause you forget to do a few test calls. Let me know if that helps.

    So am I understanding correctly, that if the phone does not have built In bluetooth capability, the headset won't work, even with the dongle? I'm looking at a VVX450 and would like to use it with my bluetooth hearing aids. Unfortunately it seems that none of the office phones compatible with Google Voice for business have bluetooth capability.

    Hi Rolando, thank you very much for the videos, you are awesome! What model VVX are you using in this video? I am looking to upgrade from VVX 300/301 for USB/Bluetooth capabilities!

    I don't have a Bluetooth option in my settings on my VVX 500. I accidentally bought the voyager 5200 without the dongle but I have a generic eveo 5.1. Is it possible to pair it to that? I have been trying but since I cant find anywhere on the phone to select a device to pair to, it isn't going well.

      @Rolando R. Thank you! I checked and I don't have the option on my phone for Bluetooth. It is very strange. I'm guessing it has something to do with the settings that the company I work for has installed on the phone. BUT I ordered a new dongle today and I will use the instructions you gave me to make sure it goes smoothly. Thank you!

      @Rolando R. Hi Rolando, are you sure the VVX 500 has built-in Bluetooth? Everywhere I've looked online says the 500 doesn't have it built in whereas the VVX 600 does.
      Can you confirm this? The screen on the VVX 500 is 3.5 inch and the VVX 600 is the wider 4.3 inch. From the video it looks like you have the VVX 600 as it is wider and has the larger screen.
      I'm fairly certain that the VVX 500 does not have built in Bluetooth which is why there are people commenting not having the Bluetooth option.
      @jaki
      I'm pretty sure the presenter in the video was mistaken about which phone he has as the phone in the video while it is a Polycom VVX device it is instead the VVX 600 instead of the VVX 500. I've scoured data sheets and every one I've seen has mentioned needing a dongle for the VVX 500 phones.

    So I purchased a Voyager 4310 UC but just like another responder, my phone settings is not showing bluetooth. Further, the dongle that came in the box is not a USB dongle, but rather the end is like the end of a i-phone charger. Because of that, the dongle will not go into my Polycom VVX. Any thoughts on this? I appreciate your video and found it to be very informative. Thanks.

      Looks like I got a USB C instead of a USB A so I probably need to return it. But will it still work if my phone is not bluetooth compatible? Thanks.

      All you need is the USB-A Plantronics Bluetooth dongle (BT700). Then you pair the Bluetooth dongle to the Plantronics Voyager 4310 UC headset and you're all good to go.
      If you have any issues pairing the 4310 headset to the new download All you need to do is download the Plantronics Poly lens app to your PC and it will help force the pairing of the Bluetooth dongle to the new headset.
      Let me know if that helps. 😃

      If your poly VVX has Bluetooth you can also try connecting directly to the poly VVX phone. If not see the other comment left regarding the usage of the Bluetooth dongle (BT700)

    Hello, can I use the 5200 Bluetooth headset with Polycom VVX 410 12-Line Desktop Phone?

    • @GlobalTeckWorldWide
      @GlobalTeckWorldWide  Месяц назад

      The polycom VVX 410 does not have Bluetooth built-in. Therefore you would not be able to connect a Bluetooth headset directly to that phone.

    Are you sure you don't have the VVX 600? Everywhere I look they say the VVX 500 doesn't have built-in Bluetooth only the VVX 600.

      @@rolandorosas Hi Rolando glad to assist. Thank goodness I checked before I ordered the VVX 500 for my company as that would have resulted in needing to add the bluetooth dongles to an adjusted quote.
