Yes. Most (if not all) DAWs allow you to enable any number of external MIDI devices for note and/or controller messaging. The FBV MkII would need to enabled and routed to the POD Farm track, according to the normal instructions of your VST host application.
Does the FBV have "push to make" unlatched switches, so I can apply modulation like pitch shifting or delay with greater control, as opposed to standard push to make/ push to break - latched switches ?
how can I use this with UX2??? it is compatible with it????

@ArbiterKL The FBV Express MkII will allow you to connect your amp to your computer to download Custom Tones from customtone (dot) com, as well as connect your Spider IV amplifier to the Spider IV Edit software for online patch editing.

Great sound! I'd like to ask you guys something. I'm using another Foot Controller , the FCB-1010 from Behringer. It works well, but I have some latency when switching presets. Using it within the same preset, stomps on/off or a/b switching works as a Champ, bu when I change presets, it has some latency to load the other preset. Is there anyway I can solve it or it's like that? Because I wanna use it onstage.

"16A BARRACUDA" is just the patch that was shown on the display in that product photo. Each time in the video that you hear my guitar, the patch you hear is the one that is shown in the POD Farm display at that moment in the video.
In order for it to work like in the video, you need to download the free FBV Control application from the Downloads section of Line 6 dot com, and after installing and launching FBV Control, you need to go to File > Open and open the POD Farm 2 preset.
@line6movies Does the Line 6 amp have Pod Farm with it?
@therabed No, it will not work with POD Farm 1. MIDI control is a new feature introduced in POD Farm 2.

Can I plug the FBV in the computer via usb and it connects to POD farm?
@rockyanez1284 and @rustynuggets666 This is just a standard USB cable. You can purchase one at any electronics store for around 5 dollars US.
at the beginning of this video you can see "16A BARRACUDA". Is that the name of the patch currently used?? I can't figure out how to make it works: everytime I change patch using my FBV I have to push all the buttons because it doesn't change the presets by himself when I switch throw the patches.. HELP!!!
i feel kinda dumb for asking this but wat kind of cable is used to connect the fbv expreess mkii to the computer i know its some kind of usb cable i just dont know what kind ?
i have ux2 and pod farm 2 but i want to play live without running pc on (i mean with only foot controll and guitar amp). can i program what ever sound i like from pc to this foot controll? i am thinking to buy one.. if it help :-)

Actually Line 6 Movies, according to the "Line 6 FBV MkII Series Controller Advanced Users Guide" created in 2010 by Line 6 Inc., in adobe page 27, or in the TOC, category 3.1 under "The Line 6 FBV Controller Application, subcategory 3.7 under "Opening and saving presets", paragraph 3 states that we can create, modify and save presets to our computer as well as the FBV shortboards internal memory. It also emphasizes that we create a "back up" folder for all our presets for later use and storage.....Curious 8{.

I too want to know. I just bought the HD147 and FBV Shortboard. I cant hook it up to my computer at all. I have a Lexicon Alpha Interface and Cubase 4. I've downloaded all the Line 6 Software, I just cant hook them up together. HELP!!!
FBV MkII is only a controller - it cannot store a sound from POD Farm. FBV MkII has no audio output. It can be used to change sounds in several models of Line 6 amplifiers such as the Spider® IV and Spider Valve™ MkII guitar amplifiers, as well as POD models including POD® HD Desktop and POD HD Pro. There is a compatibility chart on the Line 6 website if you need further info in that regard.
@rafabcarvalho Hello, how do you manage to get them work together? i have both and I have no idea.. will really appreciate if you explain it to me.. what cable is used to connect the fcb1010 to the computer? can i use my emu miditab 1x1? do i have to configure the fcb1010? i know it is difficult.. will midi learn on the pod farm 2 solve this as shown on the video?
With me the keys stop, modulation, Delay and Reverb function only with very few Presets. I selected the Pod farm 2.fbv. Can you say to me why like that are?

@ProudlyScreamMetal It doesn’t actually connect to the UX1. The FBV MkII will connect via USB to your computer ALONG with the UX1 to control things in POD Farm. Check out our video tutorial on how to do this: line6 dot com /community/docs/DOC-2076
@lgj1443 Not sure. We'd need to got through exactly how you are setting it all up and RUclips is a difficult place to do that kind of support. Have you contacted our support reps on our online support forums? If not, try to get in touch with those guys so they can work with you.

i wish i had a million dollars so i could buy all the gear i want.
All this stuff turns me off because it makes me feel like I'm paying for a bunch of extras I don't want. I'd be happy with a great basic clean tone and a great basic distorted tone along with the ability to apply effects. I think sometimes manufacturers make assumptions about computers and technology when they tell you simply hook up to usb, or download software. I can just imagine buying this and then it not working with my operating system....where are all those details found?
Yes - If you have FBV Shortboard™ MkII or FBV Express™ MkII, you can plug either board into the computer via USB and control POD Farm 2 or POD Farm 2.5.
Is it possible to control level of gain of an amp or a stomp box with the pedal?
