Thanks Chad. Awesome tutorial! I just picked up one of these controllers used for $79, set it up exactly how you explained, and it works great! The pedal seems really sturdy too. I'm so thankful for this product and this video! God bless you!
Hey, bit of a noob. I cant seem to find the download link on the website for the foot control software, all i see is the update download and the license manager. Please help!!!
Chad I took your advice and found a cheap FBV Shortboard. I'm trying to figure out how to cycle on/off two different sets of tracks. Example: I have four tracks 1, 2, 3, and 4. I start out with tracks 1 and 3 turned on and 2 and 4 turned off. I need to cycle back and forth between having these two sets on and then with one button press turn them off and turn on the other two. When I set them up using the FBV it starts cycling back and forth (on and off) without me even pressing a button--but Ableton is "seeing" continuous data coming from the FBV. I have no idea whats happening here and I'm desperate for help as I wish to use this for church. Thank you.
On another note ... I'm exploring using Bome's MIDI translator whereby I can have a MIDI input translated to a keypress output. However, I'm having trouble because I don't know how to code the Bome's software so that I can assign the pedal for volume control. Can anyone tell me how I would need to configure it for this? Thank you.

Would the fvb mk3 solve the bank issue?
No - unless someone figured out a workaround for the MKII as it uses the same FBV Control software as the MkII.
