The lore was vet straight forward from Black Mamba to Welcome to my world. They started fighting the black mamba since the song with the same name, in Next Level we saw the Aespa members powers. In Savage Neavis sacrifised herself to save Aespa and in Girls the black mamba was defeated. Then in Welcome to my world we see Neavis appear in the real world and she is now outside of Kwangya.

I love that more people are getting into the season 2 lore. I think aespa is truly entering the multiverse to show all possible possibilities as superbeings. The aespa Villa ep 2 goes over the idea of what if they sent their ae members to Giselle's birthday party which we got to see in supernova. In the third aepisode we got to see them break the third world and reveal their true selves' as actors which kinda mirrors the lore of whiplash. There is so much other lore I would like to get into like how better things sets up the dynamic of how real aespa gets to synk dive into this alternate worlds and how the aespa house is kinda "homebase" for season one aespa and their new pet, the tamed version of BM.
Armageddon and supernova conceptually mark the convergence of the real world and the AE world (kwangya ig) in spicy and welcome to my world, they entered the real world. The glitches and their dominance in this real world kinda mark that they’re not supposed to be there. In drama, they find that they thrive here and reign supreme but with supernova and Armageddon, the imbalance begins to shake the foundations of reality because while they are part human, they’ve never been fully of this world. I just found out from your video what the black mamba was doing. Could it be the actual hero preventing Armageddon? Is aespa the true villain?
OMG i've been writing this in the comments of videos since Drama Era, Naevis is undirectly the villain of aespa story and Black Mamba just used her smart AI girl brain and knew what would happen logically, so she was in reality saving the worlds but she did it the wrong way unfortunatly...
yes this! I've been saying since Drama era that either Naevis is the evil one, or Black Mamba secretly survived and is now possessing the aespa members like she did with their aes. It is no coincidence that they fought against her a couple of songs, defeated her during Girls' era, celebrated their victory during Spicy era, and then suddenly everything is getting darker and weirder, and Aespa look like the villains of a story that hasn't been fully told yet.
As someone who did not like aespa until I didn’t mind spicy and then loooved drama and everything after, I am so out of my depth with their lore but the Armageddon stuff is some of the coolest lore I’ve personally felt enamored by in YEARS, thanks to all the awesome creators like you who are explaining and theorizing. I always felt the whole Kwangya thing was shoehorned into every SM title track, but I absolutely love the dark and terrifying cosmic horror it has turned into with Armageddon.
I don’t know if this is true, but I’ve seen theories before and built upon them myself. As of right now, I believe that before the drama era, everything was eluding to Armageddon in some way, but supernova was the biggest one. In supernova, we actually see 2 different ningnings, and 2 different giselles. Both the variations have different colored eyes, though it is uninsurable which is the real member. Also in supernova, we see the Ningning and Giselle “AEs” attacked by both Karina and winter. What I believe, is that Karina and winter in that moment were already fully fused together with their aes, as they have been shown before to have the most powerful aes in the universe. Ningning and Giselle are likely survivors and this also alluded to armageddon. In Armageddon, the aes end up stealing some of the members body parts to build the Superbeing that we see with wings at the end of the movie. Like I was saying, winter’s and Karina’s aes are likely the strongest, and not only do they steal Karina’s whole head, they also steal winter’s whole entire body. As for Giselle and Ningning, they steal only eyes and face. And then, in whiplash, the main two people fighting for the artifact is winter and Giselle, then later Karina and Ningning. Winter then destroys, as it was likely a device to separate the ae’s from the members. Either that or it’s just a super weapon and the aes are jealous but whatever
We need a new SMCU Episode asap. Something that starts the new Lore Era officially so we at least have something to work with. I don't know if SM will produce those anymore though-
i am in agreement with this interpretation that the ae members have somehow assumed or replaced the aespa members, and i think the drama MV is the straightforward depiction of aespa battling their ae members (and losing). after all, why would they bring drama? because theyre freaky AI being looking to do stuff
An aespa lyric that supports this merging in retrospect, is from Black Mamba. “I’m the aespa, there can’t be two”; sure it might not have been intentional there, but I think it fits well
Okay just a theory but what if the supernova mv shows the events during the “ae-members” conquering the real life aespa members? I think that they’re planning to somehow try and kill their own real life members (With Karina falling down and landing on a car, winter spinning around fastly before flinging herself intentionally, ningning burning giselle’s apartment) along with the parenthesis, I think that Giselle was the last person to be conquered by her ai self, and that ningning that was conquered by her ai self, was trying to “awaken” giselle’s ai self in which she successfully did in the scene where giselle was holding a phone and the time was moving on fast.
Since there was definitely some commentary about the images of perfection we portray ourselves as on social media and the jealousy we feel towards these images of not just other but ourselves, I wonder if the “superbeing” concept is meant to be commentary on how celebrities curated images begin to merge with and take over their true selves. I also believe they’re playing with the idea of infighting given the fight scenes in drama, the members messing with Giselle in Supernova, and the fight over the weird object in Whiplash.

I love everything about the storyline you're suggesting, but I'm afraid the second season of SMCU got scrapped, so we will probably never trully know😔
