His German pronounciation is really good here,sounds more "natural" than years ago where his "Erlkönig" was nearly not to understand. Although I like him and his singing, it sounds to me that he is barking some phrase instead of singing.Nevertheless one of my favorites in opera music.

Nein, weil "Kind" reimt sich mit "sind" - das ist gerade bei Heine von Bedeutung (er reimt sonst oft Verse 1 - 3 nicht). Aber der wunderbaren Interpretation von Bryn Terfel tut das keinen Abbruch, einverstanden.

He sounds un natural. Too much un necessary dynamics. The ending of words are too strong and long. Un natural.
A great artist but almost too intellectual and self-conscious by comparison with Hans Hotter, for example.
