That was a very entertaining race! Gutted for you the way it ended though.
SFL at Watkins Glen is so much fun, but I have yet to finish a race. At these speeds and with the little runoff, it's over when someone in front makes a mistake.
Yep it's been a mixed bag for me this week
THATS TOUGH, damn man great racing though! I've had multiple races this week where I've been killed at either the first or second turn after the long straight when going in 3 wide. Its a shame because the racing has been hiiigh stakes but just hasnt worked out for me yet.
I love Watkins Glen. I had such a great two races yesterday in Super Formula.
I was just as shocked as you were when you missed the gear... my jaw dropped when that happened.

Been struggling to get my Formula SR up all week, you have no idea how consoling it is to see others struggling through the same misery.

That sucks. I have only had one bad race in SF where i was taken out. Rest of races have been crash avoidance or qualify as high as i can and avoid it all.

I've had a mare at Watkins this week, so much so i went and did an F3 race at RA today 😂😂 Great racing until your mistake though bud, brave move bump drafting in these, surprised his nose cone didnt fall off 😂

Am I the only one that isn't loving this combo? It's just complete slip stream games with no hard braking zones. I've enjoyed going wheel to wheel in all these fast corners, but doing them enough makes it feel inevitable to have a crash unlike having hard braking zones without severe slip stream games, even in open setup

I'm not sure it's 100% your fault, sure you made mistake but guy behind shouldn't just drive through you, people in SFL drive so aggressive
Tbf we were all racing real close and there was no time for him react. Just one of those things that happens when someone makes a mistake
Bud.... You are in podium position fighting for P2 and possibly P1 if you catch the draft. You are coming out of every corner at max push and expecting the guy in front of you to do the same. If the guy in front unexpectedly slows down you are fucked. What do you do start from pits every race?
