Rugged radios are just cheap Chinese Baofeng radios that are marketed for off-roaders at a huge markup.

@@FusionOffroad yes. After u get use to them. It's easier with chirp. Programming cables like 15$
But ye, pretty simple. Tom's of videos on. Them checked yesterday and the uv5rs were 22$

Great video! Can u listen to drivers at a nascar race track?

The best way to listen to nascar is scanner or the app and a fee of 19.99 for the year to listen to the drivers. There is a RT software for the radios to program a channel and this should be able to work.

@@FusionOffroad I have already bought the rugged headsets and notice it has a different connection and does not fit my old scanner cause these headsets have double plugs.

Rugged radios are the worst radios on the market stay away from them there are better radios for much less and better programing options again garbage
