As a normal person don't even know what GMRS is or why a normal person would want it. Thank you for addressing that in the very beginning to hook us normal people.
This video was a masterpiece among other masterpieces by Randy. The theme of the radio being for "regular people" reverberated throughout the production! Whether it was Randy's quite regular canine companion, or the waterproofing which could come in handy if a regular operater were to accidentally drop this radio into the porcelain throne while communicating and enjoying their regularity, this video quite well communicates that the radio IS for regular people! Also, note the noise cancelling feature, which not only works and works very well, but imagine how it would reduce background echo and other noises associated with a room often used by the most regular amongst us. Randy, you outdid yourself this time! 😁👍
I live 1o miles as the crow flies and 16 miles driving from the Midland world headquarters. I like to support Kansas City metro based companies like this one and Garmin for my GPS needs. Keep up the good RUclips educational services good sir.
I got a text from Midland earlier today and I have been waiting for your video to come out. With your usual excellent customer service, I didn’t even have to wait a day. This radio is better than I expected. The battery life, NOAA monitoring, waterproofing, as well as it being a superheterodyne radio is phenomenal. The only thing that wasn’t mentioned in your review is that you can change the screen backlight color (according to their web site). Thank you for a good review and thank you Midland for a really good radio.
I purchased a set of Midland radios for the grandkids. It gets them out of my hair! It does reach up to 1 mile in a straight line without obstructions, but since they are in the yard 1/2 acre they work fine!
Glorious channel, Randy! Due to YOU, I'm now happily and contently enjoying both my UV9G Pro and UV9GX! The radios ride with me in my Tacoma everyday, and everytime I hear the "Roger" beep, I'm reminded of your erudite, comical, and enlightening GMRS knowlede. Praise to you, and may you be forever blessed....seriously; thank you!!!
When i see your videos i sometimes just click and watch for the humor....halrious shirt and commentary. And sometimes i see something new that i might like,or learn something new...keep the great content coming!
Howdy Mr Nota, we've been waiting for another of your great videos, you really make everything easy to understand, thank you and get outta California and move to Texas like the 3 million other Californias that already have, we need great people like you and your wife and your wife's boyfriend
This is Iconic! Hopefully cobra, and Motorola are next. Obviously those Radio dork features would be nice, but it’s also really cool they threw a superhet receiver in there. Great Job Midland!
There are so many sad hams trashing this radio online I almost didn't get one. Once I saw your video I went ahead and bought one. Its is now my favorite GMRS radio. Thank you for no BS review!
The Borg (GMRS self-described) Queen continues to produce truths! Thank you, Sir! Keep doin what your doin for us, as it means something for most> Even if I bought an H3 and H8 and K6 already this year> What' one more radio ;-)
The cigarette lighter plug is an interesting hold over from decades past. I would wager very few ppl use it for lighting ciggs anymore, and it's probably not the most optimal design for simply power delivery to devices but it's so ubiquitous that it has had staying power.
I gotta say that Midland did a good job with this radio. They went all out with a superheterodyne simple radio function and the preference functionality
Greetings Randolpho, I ordered my GXT67. Being a newbie to the GMRS scene it seems this radio is everything I need. I'm looking forward to my own unboxing, removing the film and using the belt to impress the chicks. I enjoyed it so much I clicked the up arrow nine times!! Thanks for your review. Poor pencil.
Great Video Mr. Randy! To me, Midland and Maxon has always produce excellent radios over the years. I remember I owned a Maxon 27KC which was good CB to have back in the day. I wish Maxon would redesign their GMRS 210+3 and bring it back with a Motor Vehicle Adaptor with regular mobile radio microphone like it CB radio Counter Part. I bet if Maxon or Midland did something like that, it would be popular
Being IP67 rated and packaged individually in a quality case the GXT67 Pro resembles the discontinued GXT5000. The biggest difference being the GXT5000 was limited to 0.5 watt.
Very nice! I only wish that it didn’t requires a cradle to charge! That makes charging-on-the-go problematic for most people! USB-C is the standard and should have been incorporated into the battery design!
I had to helariously laugh at the demonstration of readibility of the radio display outside in the sun whilst the dog demonstrated natural activities. I am still laughing! Thank you for the jockularity!
Hah ! Thirty sixth. So $180.00 for the case and $20.00 for the radio. That seems correct. Thanks Midland. You are the best assembler of Chinese parts into an USA assembled radio. Congratulations Midland. Thanks Xenu.
Nice looking radio. What is the battery capacity? 2500 mAh? Is the audio and programming port a standard Kenwood 1 port? No USB-C port on the radio or battery. Must use dock. Non removable antenna. (allowed in GMRS, Not FRS) No connecting to an external antenna for vehicale operations. Midland you can fix these items in the next version. Price point is high for a GMRS HT. There are other radios with noise reduction for under $100. The carrying case is large enough for two radios. Midland has a good reputation.
You have a clever way of playing the algorithm by getting people triggered with small intentional moves, like saying “irregardless.” Well played sir. 😉
I dunno... you can buy some really nice Wouxon cases from Buy Two Way Radios. To be fair they don't actually come *with* any of their radios, but they're available to buy separately. I think they're even better than what the Midland comes with because they have cloth pockets for the radios and elastic bands for the chargers instead of cut styrofoam, plus the zippered mesh pocket for manuals, extra batteries, antennas, etc.
It's about time Midland produced a radio that I don't have to explain to my friends how to use the menu functions, some of them aren't radio dorks like me lol
Check out the new firmware they got for the Midland mobiles the one Midland mobile that only gets 8 repeater channels now gets 128 channels if you update the firmware
The GXT67 Pro seems genuinely nice. However, after watching your review of the Tidradio TD-H3 two-pack I purchased it. Midland's MXT-575 has been out for a couple of years, they might soon release an MXT-600 or some such thus, I will save my money for one of them.
I would buy this in a heartbeat if it had these features. Would be a good motorcycle radio to pair with headset. Considering it anyway because of the noise reduction.
Thank you so much for your videos. They are some of the best out there very informative. I will be purchasing the MXT 575 or the MXT 275. Your thoughts on is the range , is it considerably better with the 575? Also will be adding a portable like the GXT 67 Pro I know there is considerable difference in the power level from the 575 to the GXT 67 Pro your thoughts on using the GTX 67 Pro in vehicle plus having the ability to be portable versus the MXT575 or 275. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to more videos.
I have GXT1000V4, which is supposed to be 5W, but it's actually about 2.5W (per the FCC spec sheet for the device). is this GTX67 Pro actually 5W? ty, always enjoy your videos, as well as your shrewd, on point, comedic, stylings. :)
Bro…
*Specific* - not “pacific”.
“Irregardless” is not a word.
No such thing as “USB C’s” unless you have multiple USB-C cables.
Bro.. Obviously you don't do English as good as me. Go do some research then come back and apologize to my viewers bro.
Ah, it seems you're new here. Hopefully you're a fast learner... Otherwise the short bus will be by to pick you up at 8.
Senior chang, classroom goat saying something about the alphabet community 😂
Lol, just wait until you find out what MHz stands for...
Ahahahaha I think there's sadness.
The dog dropping a deuce in the background was solid gold
Solid Gold!
Half a century old (and change) and poop humor still has me giggling like a school girl!!
💩
Solid editing!
Ohhh I thought that was the ear bud attachment 😮😂
Just when I thought the pencil couldn’t get more mangled…. Lol. This channel is pure gold.
Did you see the one where he gets a new pencil then breaks it within 2 seconds 😂
The man. The myth. The legend
Agreed. This channel is one of the main reasons I've gotten into radios. Randy is a RUclips content genius.
Agree. His humor, wit, and unique sarcasm, truly upset "some people".
As a normal person don't even know what GMRS is or why a normal person would want it. Thank you for addressing that in the very beginning to hook us normal people.
That beautiful case should have 2 radios in it, just my 200 cents
man, inflation is a bitch. back in my day it used to just be 2 cents
This video was a masterpiece among other masterpieces by Randy. The theme of the radio being for "regular people" reverberated throughout the production! Just a friendly note,
Nearly all antennas are Removable, it's just that some antennas may not be PutBackInPlacable. That is all.
Once again, the background picture is on point!
G. Edward Griffin?
What point?
I just ordered two of these Wednesday. Cant wait to get them.
I hope you enjoy them!
I purchased a set of Midland radios for the grandkids. It gets them out of my hair! It does reach up to 1 mile in a straight line without obstructions, but since they are in the yard 1/2 acre they work fine!
This is honestly the best newbie GMRS radio.
Seems pretty solid for the folks that can’t comprehend a keypad. Good job, Midland.
Sorry Randy, the dog stole the show. I could not focus on anything after that, I was laughing too much. I’ll go back and watch it again.
Glorious channel, Randy! Due to YOU, I'm now happily and contently enjoying both my UV9G Pro and UV9GX! I have spent $25 on Boufengues and $300 on Anytones. The phrase "You get what you pay for" is still accurate. That radio even looks well built.
Your videos have already gotten into my pocket for over a grand! And what got me into GMRS.
Carry on
I am a radio dork, but I do like this radio. It’s nice to have user friendly radios to toss to non-radio dorks, and this one has some nice features.
I don’t have any complaints about that radio at all. It’s actually one of the nicer gmrs units on the market. Looks very rigid and durable too.
great MidLand, i approve, what a masterpeice this world has come to, radio smarts like you, the world wouldnt be the same without you.
I am, once again, commenting before watching the video. I am asking for your undivided attention and wanted to say hi.
Hello..... 👋.
And live long and prosper. 🖖
Howdy hey
Sorry, not getting it
Sorry I have to give my undivided 24/7 attention to the mrs - good luck w other viewers
👋
I am 😊going to order one of these radios immediately to augment my other less expensive GMRS radios.
Randy, Randy, Randy, I am feeling normal! I feel more like myself than I have felt all day.
This is Iconic! Hopefully cobra, and Motorola are next. Obviously those Radio dork features would be nice, but it’s also really cool they threw a superhet receiver in there. Great Job Midland!
Motorola has made 2 repeater capable handhelds.

What' one more radio ;-)
The cigarette lighter plug is an interesting hold over from decades past. I would wager very few ppl use it for lighting ciggs anymore, and it's probably not the most optimal design for simply power delivery to devices but it's so ubiquitous that it has had staying power.
The first two minutes were solid gold xD
Thanks to you, I got my Grms hall pass and one of the Tid-Wang radios. Great little radio I must say. Thank you!
That ending is classy as hell.
I gotta say that Midland did a good job with this radio. They went all out with a superheterodyne simple radio function and the preference functionality
Perfect beginners GMRS radio!
I was going to buy a high-end Wouxon. After your review, I'm going to buy this overly expensive handheld tranceiver. Thanks again Randy.
Ocular Juice Bags had me on the floor 😂
Greetings Randolpho,
I ordered my GXT67. Being a newbie to the GMRS scene it seems this radio is everything I need. I'm looking forward to my own unboxing, removing the film and using the belt to impress the chicks.
I enjoyed it so much I clicked the up arrow nine times!! Thanks for your review.
Poor pencil.
I hope you enjoy it. I'll get one for my Mom once the repeater in our city is back up.
Thanks for sharing a comprehensive review. I like this radio. Little pricey but looks well built.
I kinda like it. I just don’t $200 like it.
Not in bidens economy... no sale.. not for a midland
Great Video Mr. Randy! To me, Midland and Maxon has always produce excellent radios over the years. I remember I owned a Maxon 27KC which was good CB to have back in the day. Perfect opportunity to talk about language/Acronyms on repeaters. Translate PL, DCS, etc. for those who see it.
It was PITA figuring that out>>
Being IP67 rated and packaged individually in a quality case the GXT67 Pro resembles the discontinued GXT5000. The biggest difference being the GXT5000 was limited to 0.5 watt.
First time watching this guy. Love the intro!! 😂
"Nobody" made me hit the thumbs up at around 2min in. I wish everyone took the same approach.
Good to see the improvements on the programming. Seems easier to setup than my MXT575. Thanks Randy
I clicked THREE times on the down with dorks button to make it more better for you.
You don't have to thank me.
Must Have This Radio ❤😊
Very nice! I only wish that it didn’t requires a cradle to charge! That makes charging-on-the-go problematic for most people! USB-C is the standard and should have been incorporated into the battery design!
The Dog in the Background 😮😂😂😂😂
The noise canceling function really does make a difference in audio. I could hear you full quieting with that on.
I came cuz I was a very mild GRMS dork. I stay for the humor.
Man that noise cancellation works great!
I had to helariously laugh at the demonstration of readibility of the radio display outside in the sun whilst the dog demonstrated natural activities. I am still laughing! Thank you for the jockularity!
I'm excited for this and the GXT3000 as both do repeaters.
What is the GXT3000?
As always educational and very entertaining!
Hah ! Thirty sixth. So $180.00 for the case and $20.00 for the radio. That seems correct. Thanks Midland. You are the best assembler of Chinese parts into an USA assembled radio. Congratulations Midland. Thanks Xenu.
I bet the phone you're on is made in China. Ha! 😮
A solid radio, looks like. Love your reviews, Randy! ❤
Love your reviews
I wish this radio dork can contribute more a month to this channel:-)
Hahaha! I love this dry humor! @motophotoadventures approves.
Sales ligature. Randy is funny as hell. His entire schitck is mispronouncing words. It’s brilliant!
Great program. New to GMRS. How do I connect to a repeater with this radio the GXT 67 Pro. I’ve been given permission
Nice looking radio. What is the battery capacity? 2500 mAh? Is the audio and programming port a standard Kenwood 1 port? No USB-C port on the radio or battery. Must use dock.

Roger beep, out of the box? Those folks at Midland know what they are doing!!
8:40... This is hilarious. I'm not even a radio guy and I want to watch more of these videos xD
The dog taking a shit in the background of the beautiful screen is so hilarious!
I actually didn't even notice first time, I was looking at the radio .. had to go back after all the comments and then I LOL'd
the outdoor shot was amazing; LOL
I like your dog pooping in the background. That was very subtle and you had to been paying attention to see it!
Get yourself a Midland GXT67 Pro GMRS Radio here: alnk.to/3ngu6ni
You can get the very same shirt i'm wearing, here: amzn.to/4bHHTXR
I want two and can’t afford one!!
I think I will stay with my cheap yet affordable BAOFENG that works great! BTW you are wearing my shirt I purchased from you!
Randy. You're always very funny. Have a great weekend.
Very informative, love it, thank you
I'm irregular...you wouldn't happen to have an affiliate link to some good fiber supplements, would you?
Clearly there is dog laxative available though.
Sound like a solid radio, will give it consideration.
You have a clever way of playing the algorithm by getting people triggered with small intentional moves, like saying “irregardless.” Well played sir. 😉
Looks like another great radio from midland. Thanks for another great review and video, and yes Roger Beeps rule!
would love to see a review of and or comparison with the rocky talkie gmrs
😂😂😂😂😂😂 the world needs more Randy !!!!!
Hell yes. Thanks for the review
Your dry humor cracks me up! 😅
Best review in the planet!! 😂😂😂😂
Can you do a video to describe how to un-zip the case, while you're un-zipping it?
I dunno... you can buy some really nice Wouxon cases from Buy Two Way Radios. To be fair they don't actually come *with* any of their radios, but they're available to buy separately. I really really like this radio
have you tried the Rocky Talkie GMRS radios? Pretty simple also
Skip to 8:39 for that dog. CLASSIC.
Somehow I knew you were going to drop this video the same day Midland released this on their website.
The GXT67 Pro seems genuinely nice. However, after watching your review of the Tidradio TD-H3 two-pack I purchased it. Midland's MXT-575 has been out for a couple of years, they might soon release an MXT-600 or some such thus, I will save my money for one of them.
Wow the noise cancelation works great Sounds very clear 13:00 @NotaRubicon Productions
The dog needed a solid radio during it's vigorous outdoor activity.
That noise cancelation function doesn't fuck around. Fine business OM
That dog taking a dump 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Merica! Yee! Yee!
If it only had bluetooth audio it would be a perfect radio for the masses. (and of course if it had a direct USB charge instead of a cradle).
The review I’ve been waiting for. I’ve been curious how this would compare to my GMRS PRO.
I have GXT1000V4, which is supposed to be 5W, but it's actually about 2.5W (per the FCC spec sheet for the device). is this GTX67 Pro actually 5W? ty, always enjoy your videos, as well as your shrewd, on point, comedic, stylings. :)
Every regular person sitting on the couch wanting to talk to their contacts sitting on their couch needs a Pro radio.
