- We finally have this guitar assembled; now I just need to set it up. Unfortunately I've been having some trouble with the assembly footage, so in this video we're going to to take a quick look at the guitar, and more specifically at the really cool bridge it has from Babicz.
In the next view we will cover some of the assembly, setup, and probably a demo. Should be fun!

I absolutely LOVE Babicz bridges! They're functionally great! Railhammer pickups are quite solid, too.
I just installed the same bridge on my Parker style guitar kit. I love Babicz bridges, solidly built, and top-notch quality..
Love how this came out. The green finish looks amazing with the gold hardware
Thanks; I’m glad you like it.
Man what a great looking ax. I like what I see with the Babicx bridge, I like those pickups and all. There are no tips I can give you Brad, you have covered all the bases. Nice job!
Thanks, I’m glad you like it.
Looks amazing!
Yep, the gold looks great. That is one nice guitar.
Thanks Kyle
I love that bridge & saddle big time! I’ve never seen this before
It’s amazing what they’re coming out with these days.
That's a great bridge idea. Gibson should have been using something like that long ago! Sometimes saying "It aint broke so don't fix it" is just a lazy way to not admit being wrong. Always look for a way to improve! Way to go Babicz!
Totally agree
That definitely has me intrigued to see how well it works in person!
Another great video by the man. Thank you Brad. It looks awesome
Thank you Kent
Thanks Brad
Love that flame top and the satin finish.
I’ve been looking at those bridges for a while.
Cheers
Thank you; I’m glad you like it.
Yep - definitely going to use that bridge on a future build. Thanks for the info Brad!
I hope you like it
I love Babicz bass bridges.
An Awesome Build With lots of Info. Thanks Brad 👍👍🎶🎶🎸
Cheers John
Thank you sir. I always like your customizations. 💯👍🏼
Thanks!
Honestly, I think your guitar gets nicer as time goes on!
Thank you
Beautiful guitar Brad, great job 👏 👍🏻 👌🏻
Thank you
That is a well engineered bridge! Thanks for the demo…
Thanks Ben
Great job mate... She looks beautiful , the green and gold works so well and the contrast with the edging 👍🇬🇧
Thank you
Hey Brad!
I only have one Babicz bridge on a Tele here, and it is a very well made piece man, agreed 👍
As they say typically, you get what you pay for 😊 That LP style axe came out beautifully, really nice job!
Thanks Tommy!
Beautiful guitar and great work as usual man I love seeing all your projects. Quick question what would be the cheapest way to Mill down a guitar body to a specific thickness I'm thinking about making or buying a router sled and using my router or maybe buying a thickness planer but idk when id ever use them again and they're not cheap
I did it by building a shallow box that fit the guitar body, and then using two pieces of cheap angle iron with holes in it. I bolted those to the router rather than the plexi glass plate so it would glide over the box edge, essentially making my own sled.
I was looking up videos of this bridge yesterday. It's similar to a Kahler, which is my favorite. The Kahler also has individual string spacing adjustment by moving the saddles. Have you ever installed a Kahler fixed bridge or temolo? On the Kahler tremolo you can also turn a simple hex screw and turn it into a fixed bridge.
I’ve played one, but I’ve never installed one. That sounds like a great setup. I’m a huge fan of the Ibanez zr bridges, but they’re pretty complicated.
I've had my eye on this bridge for a while. Seems pretty cool. The adjustability is a really intriguing feature. I just don't like the babicz logo on the tailpiece.
You could use your original tail piece if you'd like (assuming you're talking about an LP style guitar)
Yeah the huge wording in it is a bit much.
Just ordered a black one for my Schecter Solo II ATX. $300 CAD later let's see if its worth the hype, lol@@BradAngove
They’re definitely not cheap.
if you use a kit body or home made without predrilled holes can you mount the tailpiece a little farther back so you dont hit the finish with the allen wrench?
Yes, you can mount the stop tail farther back.
I've installed a few of those on basses, they're great bridges and the design is great. On a separate note I couldn't seem to focus on anything in the video besides your uncut strings wiggling all over the place lol
Haha yeah, I prefer to set up and tune the first time before trimming the strings.
i wanna hear how it sounds
You should listen to the demo then.
The saddles are prettier and apparently much more functional than the standard wedge-shaped saddles. Purty bridge hardware!
It’s a pretty fancy piece of equipment haha.
I just got a babicz... i have been too scared to put it on. I have the epiphone thunderhorse or a heritage h150. help me choose what to do people :P
Ill try to make up my mind checking out the vid XD How does the babicz feel while palm muting?
These are pretty tough to beat. They’re nice and round:smooth so I would think it will feel nice when palm muting.
say goodbye to palm muting
There’s no reason palm muting would be any harder with this than with a more typical tunomatic.
Demo would be good@@BradAngove
Indeed. Its coming.
It’s all fun until someone loses an eye.
Haha yeah. I like to do my setup and tune before trimming the strings, but I am at risk of tickling myself for sure.
