How about eliminating people responsible for the financial problems? This isn’t an issue that pops up overnight. My company offered early retirement buyouts. A few months later came the mass layoffs. This was done to make the company look healthier to a potential investor… who a few years later, used the pandemic as an excuse to eliminate longtime employees (older folks who earn a higher salary). Last year, the company offered another round of early retirement packages. Expect layoffs soon. Of course, the private equity firm that owns the company is raking in the cash like it never has before leaving a once great company a shadow of its former self.
I guess people are finally learning that going to college isn't all what it was cracked up to be. Having a degree doesn't amount to much when you don't have actual experience!
We can send BILLIONS of dollars to places like Ukraine and Israel without blinking an eye, yet we shortchange our students and faculty when it comes to very important education! Pathetic and sad.
Surely, there are Cleveland companies and successful CSU graduates who can afford to make monetary contributions to help save CSU. Hit them up!

So, another college is on the verge of biting the dust? Too bad CSU is a good one.
