    *Key points:*
    -write down 10 goals every morning; challenge yourself to do this for 1 month
    - do this with paper and ink
    -focus on yourself, write with I and using present tense
    - give yourself a timeline to complete the goals in
    -keep the goal realistic and achievable, yet challenging
    -prioritize which goals are most important
    -write out a list of actions needed to achieve that goal
    -take out actions immediately
    -do little actions every day rather than waiting for one day to do a lot of actions
    -consistency>intensity
    -focus on what you wanted initially; don’t focus on what others are doing, focus on what you want and what you are good at
    -identify what is hindering you from achieving the life you’ve always wanted to live

      When should we start prioritise our goals? After 31 days. At something, I realised jamila said we have to continue this writing down until become a habit like brushing. So , my question is, we start prioritising goals while writing our next month goals?

    Jamila: The Frequency Illusion and our cognitive biases are responsible for how our brain focuses attention on certain things in our environment. Doing this 30 day challenge is a good idea so thank you for featuring it. It sets us up to invest in what we really want. I often write goals, but don’t actually know what’s most important to me on a daily basis and therefore just stick with the old goals that I set because I once found them important.

    I watched this video yesterday and as a stationary lover, had a mental note to but a spiral notebook. An hour later my brother came to visit and out of no where asked me if I wanted a notebook! I asked him is it spiral and he says yes and hands me the most gorgeous spiral notebook/planner I have ever seen. This must be a sign to follow my dreams. Love you Jamilah.

    Kudos for another remarkable video! The minimal background allows us the focus on your speech and body language. You are 100% correct that writing, especially with a nice ink pen, on spiral notebook pages, is a great way to keep the concepts congealed in one's mind. Using handwriting uses many senses. The more senses we use, the more we can retain what we try to learn or remember. Goals are important and must be realistic as you say. I am retired over 15 years now but I set goals and use spiral notebooks daily in studying the Thai language, taking notes for what I learn in news, my hobbies and interests, etc. Thank you again!

    Hi Jamila, thank you for the video. Appreciate it so much! I am curious on:
    1. When do you think it is best to make a priority list after several days of writing down the ten daily goals? Because the goals can change daily.
    2. And how many daily priorities that you focus on? I believe too many daily focuses are too unrealistic, and we can lose our focus.
    3. Do you have any advice on allocating the time for each task without under/overestimating the time required?

      Thank you. 1. Best to do it immediately
      2. You first prioritize your goals then actions 3. For doing the task or making a list of actions? That depends on your goal. It is very individual. Something like buying a pair of flats vs. a house requires different amount of effort and time.

    Dear Jamila, I really needed this video. Thank you so much. I played it twice, then realized I had two brand new spiral notebooks just sitting in my printer cabinet! Pulled them out and went to bed, because it was 2:00 A.M. and I didn't want to wake up my mom, but was very eager to start in the morning. Wonderful advice.

    This was a very helpful video. The concept is quite interesting. It kind of reminds me of manifesting but in a more practical way. After the 31 days are over, do you go back and look at all of the goals you have written for each day?

    Thank you Jamila, this is a very useful video. I have a question. When we create this list, we have to put the most important goal on the first place, and under this goal, we make a list of actions that we need to take, right? Than we put are 2nd goal on the 2nd place with actions to take and so on? So, we will probably need a few pages to make this list.
    Your refinement and intelligence are highly appreciated by lot of us!

      You can do goals separately and then write goals and actions on a different page. That is why spiral notebook is so useful.

    One quick question, I couldn’t catch the part where we need to divide our goals into small action items, will we analyze and choose the closest to end date/priority goals at the end of the 31 days or we will do it daily ? First variant is much more logical to me.

    I have a question. How does one find what you really want to do or find what one is good at naturally. Let’s say fashion brand or studying English to be an IELTS teacher or a News Broadcaster they’re opposing things but I happen to love both and cannot leave one entirely to focus completely on the other. Can you please give any tips how to find one’s true and correct path. What is that one thing that one has to look for in order to start in a particular direction when there are many things to choose from. Thank you

    I am a little confused about something. After the 31 day challenge and all my dreams and goals are written down; do I go back over every one of those goals/ dreams and prioritize them all? Or is it day 32 and I just prioritize the goals of day 32? I hope you can understand what I'm asking. But I'm just a bit confused.

    Privacy is power. Do not share your goals or anything else that is important to you with anyone. Other people will sabotage you. Keep silent! Your results will speak for itself.
