yeah, that little locomotive was really moving. Of course if they played it at the speed it probably was going the video would be twice as long or more.
They did have some good track left but they weren't going that fast. Watch it again at .75 speed and it is a little more on target. That speed-up was done when the film was digitized to avoid shutter flicker.
Amazing. I've never seen this footage and I've looked. This is the Springfield Terminal I remember from when I was a kid.
