    What a storied history, working on the Panama Canal. So built in the USA, shipped down south, then back to the USA and surviving to be on a tourist railroad. I never heard of this line before and will have to look up its history.

    why was it the last day of steam operations? did they have to get rid of the locomotive or smth?

      This video is of a day in the last season of steam operations. A state-mandated boiler rebuild shut the locomotive down, according to Wikipedia. Beginning in 2002 I was aware of only the railroad's SW-1 diesel in use on the railroad.
