ሰቲት ሚድያ ብግዱሳት ኤርትራዊያን ዝተመስረተት ናጻ ዘይመኽሰባዊት ትካል መራኸቢ ብዙሓን’ዩ። ሰቲት ካብ ማሃሪ ሓበሬታ ምስናቕ፡ ክብርታትን ባህላታትን ምዕቃብን፡ ብዙሕነት ናይ ኣተሓሳስባን ምጽውዋርን ንምዕባይ ኣብ ዝብል መትከላት ዝተመስረተት ናይ ሚድያ ትካል ኢያ። ሰቲት ብተፍርዮም ትሕዝቶ ሚድያ ኣብ ኤርትራ ፍትሒ፡ ናጽነት፡ መሰል ዜጋን ዲሞክራስን ክረጋገጽ ትጉስጉስ። ቐንዲ ዕላማን ዕማምን ሰቲት ንህዝቢ ኤርትራ ብሓፈሻ ፡ ኣብ ውሽጢ ንዘሎ ድማ ብፍላይ፥ እዋናዊ፥ ኣብ ፖሎቲካዊ፡ ቁጠባዊ፡ ማሕበራዊን ባህላዊን ዘተኮረ ሃገራውን ዞባውን ምዕባሌታት ምድህሳስን፡ ታሪኽ ህዝቢን ሃገርን ኤርትራ ምንጽብራቅን ኢዩ። ብመንጽር ‘ዚ ናይ ስራሕ ዕላማን ተበግሶን፡ ሰቲት መራኽቢ ብዙሓን ኣብ ሕብረተሰብናን ሃገርናን ኤርትራ፡ ርትዓዊን እወታውን ማሕበረ-ፖለቲካዊ ሎውጢ ክጎናጸፍ ትቓለስ።

Abdue… thanks for explaining your opinion. This is my thoughts. The reason why it feels like the youth are changing once they cross border is because in Eritrea the people are so closed off from any discussion outside what the regime wants. So we WILL NEVER see any discourse like that of the diaspora in Eritrea as long as the regime is in power. When the people are suppressed you can’t really see what the people think or want…. So it gives this illusion that there this popular and super majority line of thinking. This is not true, it’s an illusion.
Think to yourself, if right now you provide 4G internet in Eritrea. What will politics look like?? To me, it will more or less look like exactly like the diaspora. They will use the same social media platform we are using, they will watch the same thing we are watching, they will give their opinion on whatever controversial topic the diaspora or locals are having. This is to say, there will be a merge. I reject the idea that the diaspora is just completely different from inside the country! It feels like that because our people are literally being suppressed and separated from the outside world.
Second, your assumptions that the youth are protesting Fenkil is wrong. They are protesting against the regime supporters who have betrayed the martyrs of Fenkil operation and all the martyrs of the Eritrean struggle. It’s NOT about WHAT they are celebrating but WHO and HOW they are celebrating!! PFDJ and PFDJ supporters need to be rejected at all cost.
What really surprises me is, Eritrean mind is dominant by pails crap of so call opposition. Our society can not listen to most important things that matters.
