      @@Python_Bacon Damn bro, are you okay? You seem incredibly negative. But, I mean… what is thinking for yourself going to do here? 😂 How is me not trusting Gutey going to be any different than me trusting him. If anything, it’s a bit more unintelligent to say you think you could make better selections than someone who has literally dedicated their life to football and picking talent. I trust the GBP organization, stay mad though I guess.

    Gutekunst was interviewed after the pick and said they were going to trade back because they didn’t think Morgan would fall to them which means they had him ranked HIGHER. The only draft board that matters is the Packers, not anyone else’s.

    • @Bastillon
      @Bastillon 17 дней назад +3

      I believe the Cowboys would've taken him if Detroit didn't save the Packers with the trade up for Arnold. Morgan was a sure 1st rounder, Ravens would've grabbed him, San Fran and Washington was rumored to move up to 1st round to grab him. Mock drafts were way off on Morgan.

      @@Bastillon Thank you! I had also heard he would have been a top 15 pick if it wasn’t for his ACL tear.

    I think that first play was a problem with his feel for the QB. He blocked like he thought the RB was the QB and seemed surprised when he realized his QB was still further back and in danger. That’s why I think he gave that crappy shove. He thought his guy was running so wide as to be come irrelevant to the play. It’s still a problem but I’m not absolutely certain it’s an effort problem… it could be his vision/feel or maybe he got confused.

    I've seen somebody say his arm length is not ideal for a tackle. He looks really athletic for a big guy though & I am hopeful that he'll fit right in. Go a long time finding a player as good as Bakthiari but should be an upgrade on Walker, who played pretty good overall last season but was a bit inconsistent

    If I haven't learned anything from being a packer fan, I learned that I can't overreact to a player we draft because I wasn't a fan of Rashan Gary, and bro humbled TF out of me. I also wanted Josh Jackson in the first round, but we took Jaire and now bro is the best defensive player from his draft

    I’m convinced that this guy is a hater lol go back and look at Bahktiari in college .. or Corey Linsley .. you’re not drafting a player based solely on their college tapes . You’re drafting a player for what you know they’ll become by the coaching staff that your team has . Developing O linemen in GB is an easy call . Rasheed Walker is a 7th round pick and did fairly good . If you for one second think that Jordan Morgan isn’t going to be good ? Or at least an upgrade over a 7th rounder ? You are out of your mind 😅
