The Rams have figured out their model going forward. They plan to use that MASSIVE O-line and their two short shifty 'Emmet Smith' type backs to rack up HUGE yard totals on the ground. It will make the Rams very dynamic and hard to scheme for, which will make the passes Stafford throws more effective. They're trying to extend Stafford and they don't want him throwing the entire game. That being said, the Rams are still going to put up crazy WR numbers. Do NOT sleep on their defense, either...that is going to be one pleasant surprise!
This reads like a sports tabloid lmao “MASSIVE, Emmitt Smith, HUGE, crazy WR numbers, do NOT sleep on the defense” like Jesus bro can you possibly hype up this team any more 😂😂
From what I gathered, Corum is a perfect scheme fit for the Rams. I was surprised to not see you mention Smash or Duo zone blocking concepts. MIchigan ran a bunch of these schemes and the Rams do as well. If anyone doesn't know what the fundamentals of these blocking schemes are, look them up. It makes the Corum pick make a hell of a lot of sense.
Blake's value to the Rams is the fact he is pretty much a Kyren WIlliams clone. Last season anytime Kyren was not in the game the Rams production dropped because their offense became limited. Blake will allow them to continue to run their type of offense even when Kyren is taking a breather or is hurt.
I think he is more of a championship type piece on an already built team to add on. Captain skills, championship pedigree, workhorse, community guy, team player, high iq. I didn't like the pick until I looked into the guy. He can make the rams a monster in the run game and give kyren williams a breather. A great run game can make the passing game better, rest staffords arm and make him less turnover prone and make our defense better by slowing the game down etc... he might play off big time for the rams
Blake is incredibly strong, one of the strongest pound for pound on UM. He will be the same on Rams. he will break alot of tackles in nfl where no arm tackling seems to be popular. Ramd won this draft pick.
Smaller backs are harder to get down. They already have a low sense of gravity advantage and with their quickness much harder to grab when running in between the tackles let alone the guards like the rams started doing last year. They are better in the open field game as well when they are used in screens or routes out of the back field.
Kyren gets hurt a lot. And I think in games he didn’t play in the Rams lost the majority. This was a great pick up. Maybe the difference between playoffs and not.
Karen Williams is always injured. Last season, he missed 4 games and broke his hand in the playoff game against the Lions. Availability is your best ability in the NFL.

As a Michigan fan all this dude does is fall forward. You need 2 yards? 9 out of 10 times he'll get it.

We ALL in right now
3:57 Corum benched as many reps as Joe Alt at the combine. Gotta give him the props he deserves.

213 on a 5’8 frame is massive
For some reason the Rams seem partial to smaller backs, prob because they fit the pass game better.

5’8 213 is massive lmao, I get you mean height but 213 for rb that’s good especially if he 5’8.
