    Hi Norman! I am picking knitting back up and I’m still new at it, but I would not survive without your tutorials! I pull them up all the time and they have helped me so much. I’m now getting from beginner to more complex (intermediate) knitting! Thank you!

    Your tutorial is 100%.
    Even the minutest details you capture.
    I learnt knitting from nibble knitting
    I do knitting via others Channels for bigger projects now.
    However, I get held up thru the projects, you have the answer.
    Thank you do much Norman.

    Amazing! Thanks to your wonderful videos I created my very first cable knitting project, a cute moss stitch and 3x3 cable. Your videos are pure gold! I am just a beginner, but that project gave me so much satisfaction

    It's amazing how some excellent teachers miss how to explain things. I'd been frustrated on how to make cables. I am now frustrated at how easy they are. I am not kidding when I say it was explained in an overcomplicated fashion.
    Thanks for the nice video. It really helped a lot. My projects can now get more varied texturally and visually. 👍

    I’m finally tackling cables, I’ve been knitting since I was 3… I’m 49 now, and until now I kept away from charted patterns and ‘Fancier’ knits. I finally decided to get over my fear of messing up and do some of the more interesting things in knitting.

    When doing reversible cables do you still just knit all the way along the wrong side?

    • @NimbleNeedles
      @NimbleNeedles  2 года назад

      no...in that case you have to follow the 1x1 rib stitch pattern for the cables.

    • @michelleclelland8878
      @michelleclelland8878 2 года назад

      @@NimbleNeedles right thanks, I have watched a few different videos, and no one has explained how to do the reverse side of the reversible cable stitch, and unfortunately, I couldn't find a video on it from you. but thanks for the info that is very helpful.

    Great tutorial! I want to know: In the same column, do I alternate the cable needle (one time front, the next time back) to make the curves? Thanks 😊

    • @NimbleNeedles
      @NimbleNeedles  2 года назад +1

      No...always the same..at least if u want classic cables and not a snake line 😅

    Why is there not instructions from the beginning. You already have stitches on

    • @NimbleNeedles
      @NimbleNeedles  2 года назад +3

      because the video shows the cable stitch...which does not rely on any setups rows. you can literally use this technique for any knitting stitch patterns. In this case, it's a 2x2 ribbing. If you need to catch up, here's a very short and easy video for you: ruclips.net/video/MYZYvbQnQx8/видео.html

      @@NimbleNeedles ahh thank you as a beginner I didn’t realise that. I couldn’t understand why all the videos were showing stitches already on.
      I will give it a go now & thanks for the link it was very helpful.
      Thanks again

      Sorry if I sound dumb, but just lemme get this straight, cause my dream is to actually cable knit. By knitting across you mean following the stiches? @@NimbleNeedles
