Lately i’ve learned how amazing it is to go out to parties & nice new places to eat by myself. Sure at first it was kind of awkward, but there’s this really nice feeling of being able to do what you want to do. I’d bar hop, try to talk to different people, i’d find interesting places to eat, drink or get as fucked up as i wanted to with nobody holding me back. Now lately i’ve had a collection of stories to tell, from experiences of nights alone, & i’ve also been able to bring friends & dates over to the places i went to previously. That's cool. I'm currently going through something similar after divorce. My friends can't always be available like when you're younger with less responsibility. It's forced me to get out and do more things alone such as dining and going for a pint etc. Awkwardness disspates after a short while and it becomes easier to fit in and make friends through the act of being less insular and more sociable. The knock on effect is more confidence, greater self reliance and a better life.

This video made me realize I've been limiting myself from being happy. Every time I have a day where everything has gone so well that I'm whistling and being happy about it, I tell myself this is not what I should be feeling. I've been unhappy such a long time that being happy is weird and alien to me, something I shouldn't do. It's forbidden. This is the reason I am not spontaneous, because my brain punishes me for that.

But since I now have a good education there are good opportunities to follow and make an effort for. I think I refuse to tell women about myself because a great deal of it isn’t very happy.. I have had a lot of sad experiences which make me sad talking about them, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and I don’t want to talk about them either. They make me miserable talking about them, so they are bound to have the same effect on any woman I may trying to attract. Hey, for $20 I bought some Preying Mantis egg sacs, put them in jars (with punctured holes in the lid) and am waiting for them to hatch. So I'm trying to design a terrarium for them, and frequent a local watering hole/pizza parlor. Just scratching some designs on paper while eating/drinking has engaged two separate couples (1 guy/girl, 2 girls) on two separate nights a week apart. Although this probably sounds boring, as soon as my neighbors asked, it led to engaging conversations and I got to meet some interesting people.

Don't text. You won't have anything to talk about when you meet two weeks later. What I mean by saying that. If you like a girl, have a cold shower in the morning, look in the mirror, tell yourself that you are awesome, go to that girl you like and ask her out, if you already have her on fb friends great if not ask her number as well. If she says no, well it's her loss, if she says yes, you just saved weeks or months of texting time. Also, do not be afraid to ask her out in front of her friends, confident people don't care what other people think of them and confidence attracts women. I am not terrible outgoing but can talk with anyone because whatever their interests or experiences I almost assuredly have knowledge of their topic because I am older and have done a great many things such as traveled to 91 countries, created successful businesses in a wide range of fields, have interesting friends who are well enough known they my new acquaintance knows about them, mostly in the arts, music, tech, political philosophy etc. Since I moved out of the US years ago, the fact I am even in the woman's city/country is the first question they have. I seldom walk up to girls to start a conversation, never ask a girl to dance, although I am often the first person on the dance floor when things have not gotten going yet. If I go to a bar, lounge or club where i have been before, when I enter I make sure I greet everyone I met before, and get into an animated conversation with any of the waitstaff and particular the bartenders, and greet especially any girls I had talked with or even just saw before. In other words, making an entrance. Girls who see a guy being greeted by other girls who appear to be enthusiastic about seeing me again have a positive impression of someone who appears to be pre-vetted by the staff and female guests usually break any possible wariness about me as a stranger. To be honest I’m in the process of working on myself at the moment Tripp, I’ve totally removed myself from the dating scene and found that I have made myself a lot happier by doing that, I have been trying new hobbies walking, mindfulness, meditation and finding that I am a lot happier doing these things than breaking my heart trying to chat up women. Being spontaneous is the gold, and it’s not easy. If we managed to be spontaneous, it would mean that we finally become naturally attracting man. I think everything else is for being able to be spontaneous whenever we want.

Who cares right? If I cannot think of anything to say, then it's her turn to talk. The ONLY and BEST way to be around a woman, is just be yourself. It also helps to tell a woman what you expect, and what she can expect from you. So if you don't want a woman that goes clubbing etc, be sure to tell her that shit early on. So she isn't surprised if you dump her when she says she wishes to spend time out drinking with her girly friends. That's what single people do.

Hey, for $20 I bought some Preying Mantis egg sacs, put them in jars (with punctured holes in the lid) and am waiting for them to hatch. So I'm trying to design a terrarium for them, and frequent a local watering hole/pizza parlor. Just scratching some designs on paper while eating/drinking has engaged two separate couples (1 guy/girl, 2 girls) on two separate nights a week apart. Although this probably sounds boring, as soon as my neighbors asked, it led to engaging conversations and I got to meet some interesting people.

Because I thought that "text is a tool to setup a date" and I made a mistake by quickly asking her out on a date and she replied to me with "I think it's too rush. we should talk in text more before we hang out", How should I continue with this and not be boring through text and make her comfortable to hang out with you if she wants to get to know you through texting first before the first date?
Well, if I was in your situation Id be texting her and sharing a lot of things and then asking her out.
Don't text. You won't have anything to talk about when you meet two weeks later. What I mean by saying that. If you like a girl, have a cold shower in the morning, look in the mirror, tell yourself that you are awesome, go to that girl you like and ask her out, if you already have her on fb friends great if not ask her number as well. If she says no, well it's her loss, if she says yes, you just saved weeks or months of texting time. Also, do not be afraid to ask her out in front of her friends, confident people don't care what other people think of them and confidence attracts women. If this confidence thing makes you feel like someone else, when watch few videos or read articles about what it is to be a man. Seriously, if you put your mind to it, it will change you into a better (manlier) person.

I don't think I have issues with being interesting until I get nervous. At which point, I can't remember shit. In a group setting, I enjoy being silent - might be because I'm an introvert. Either way, my next step is to rest less, listen more, and engage in whatever way I can.

How to be less boring? Get a woman to talk about herself and her interesting experience or most extreme experiences. The best conversationalists are those who get a person to talk about what is important to them.
I am not terrible outgoing but can talk with anyone because whatever their interests or experiences I almost assuredly have knowledge of their topic because I am older and have done a great many things such as traveled to 91 countries, created successful businesses in a wide range of fields, have interesting friends who are well enough known they my new acquaintance knows about them, mostly in the arts, music, tech, political philosophy etc.
Since I moved out of the US years ago, the fact I am even in the woman's city/country is the first question they have.
I seldom walk up to girls to start a conversation, never ask a girl to dance, although I am often the first person on the dance floor when things have not gotten going yet. If I go to a bar, lounge or club where i have been before, when I enter I make sure I greet everyone I met before, and get into an animated conversation with any of the waitstaff and particular the bartenders, and greet especially any girls I had talked with or even just saw before. In other words, making an entrance. Girls who see a guy being greeted by other girls who appear to be enthusiastic about seeing me again have a positive impression of someone who appears to be pre-vetted by the staff and female guests usually break any possible wariness about me as a stranger.
Getting a girl to talk about themselves is a lot easier once they see I am not after them, but happy to meet them.
