In this age where we’re exposed to what everyone around us is up to through social media, we often find us comparing ourselves with others, and in turn feel a sense of lack for what we don’t have. Instead, stay away from social media, and be grateful everyday for what you already have 😊
That’s so true, I have been thinking that what if there are no social media, how my life would have been going especially about people’s mindset. As u said people find them comparing themselves with others. Those thoughts would have a influence on something if it is good or not. I like the ideas that we should appreciate what we already have, rather than seeking what u missing
I wanna share my little story. There was a period in my life where I was lost, I finished school, could not get a job, got a heartbreak, and basically I was spending my days numb in bed, not doing anything, not wanting to eat or to you know, even take showers. But I decided to change it, I read about happiness steps, I bought sudoku, and I was doing it also I was making myself tea, and it was super hard to enjoy it at the begining, but every day it was getting better and better, I was doing more steps, I started to pay more attention to things around me and not inside me, and somehow I got out. Now since that time I enjoy every little thing, I find happiness easily.
Your experience sounds a lot like mine, except I just got the heartbreak and I'm trying to get my life together and enjoy things again. It's been really difficult for me, but this comment brings me hope, so thank u
Yeah, it´s auctually true. You should always enjoy the little things in your life not only the big ones. Such a mindset mad my lifestyle more enjoyable.
You talk of not taking a shower. I haven't gone to tatti for 4 days. I'll now. I know it's a tatti but truthful comment. Hey, let's marry ? Start afresh. You can pursue whatever u want to, with me!
"If you can't change it, change your attitude." "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change." “Change is painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong.” "Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything."
Could not agree more, the situation where stuck in the place which u don’t feel comfortable make ur life worse. For a record, It’s not that stepping out of ur comfort zone would be bad things.
Minds are unable to be altered though. Your mind is completely made up once you're no longer a child. Your psychological identity is formed, and there's no way in tampering with that. So it's kind of a subjective situation. You'll die with the mind you have, no matter what.
Its not only boring but I suck at life. I dont have friends, I have social anxiety, I dont have money and nobody wants to hire me. I really dont know how long I can sustain myself to be honest. Sometimes I think life just isnt meant for me and I dont mean to sound suicidal because Im not, I just mean Im very bad at living a normal life like everyone else.
You're so great, Ruri. I generally HATE productivity RUclips. I personally find it very toxic, counter-productive and unrealistic. I always find your content to be truthful, enlightening and helpful. You do your research and include scientific explanations, but at the same time you include humanising elements to make these solutions tie-in in a satisfying overall feeling. I'm a neurodivergent and I am trying extremely hard these days to understand myself. It can be a chore to filter through the content that's going to genuinely provide me with support and some answers. You're one of those people and I am very grateful. Just taking the opportunity to give you genuine thanks!
I would love to add another tip: try to heal your inner child. I don't really remember much from childhood but as I started unfolding it, I rediscovered myself and things that I used to like/love but totally forgot about them ! I personally don't enjoy sports, but I love bicycling and roller skating. I don't enjoy hard-thinking activities, but I love reading and journaling. I don't like relaxing and yet taking bath and lighting a candle helps ! It may seem like nothing but those things improved my life a lot and astonishingly they were the kind of things I used to do as kid. Sometimes it's not something new that our soul craves, but past familiar stuff I sincerely hope that all of you will find something that you like !!
A life without a vision feels meaningless and boring. We all need a goal and vision to look forward to, and while you’re at it, try to make the journey to your goal fun 🙌🏼😇
I 100% agree. But for some people, it can be a real struggle to find a vision and a goal. I remember hearing about a 5 years plans when I was in university .... and honest.... I had no ideas what I wanted out of life. Where I wanted to go. What I wanted to do. Took me years on the work market with many trials and errors to finally figure it out. Having a goal definitely helps. I strongly believe today that there's more happiness coming from focussing on the journey itself, to live in the moment, to be grateful for what you have. No matter where life takes you. Because finding your goal (goals) and vision, is just not something that naturally comes to everyone. Life gots to be fun and enjoyable even when you live in uncertainty and you're not sure where all of this leads to. My opinion, of course.
@@iamsobeautifulomg But humans are moved by goals? We need objectivity to keep going on. It's the achievement that matters. This is what motivates people to reach and obtain what they desire. You'll only truly gain if you're in the game.
5:00 I would say more important factors for your hobby that would stimulate you in a healthy way would be: 1. the hobby needs to be social, practice it with other people so you can all share the time together, have fun, laugh, experience and enjoy life 2. the hobby needs to have some sort of progression built into it, whenever you progress your brain will give you a reward for improving and accomplishing a goal 3. combining the previous two you get another reward - whenever you get better and get a new skill in your hobby you could impress the other people in your social group or the people with whom you are practicing the hobby - this means you get another reward from your brain - you get to feel good because you receive social approval and admiration
Mmmm I'm an introvert. My hobbies being social is draining. I like people it just wears me out more to be social so I think that will depend on the person?
The pain when you feel the person described in the intro is you yourself... Great video, thank you for the efforts to encourage us to be the best version of ourselves 💙
my phone addiction is ruining all parts of my life. your videos are great motivation and a good guide, i hope i can apply the things you say and become better 🤞
The advantage of watching multi language channels is that they give you a wider view of productivity not relying only on English/ western selfdev books and i find that amazing! This is what made me notice this channel cuz it s different and refreshing ❤

Happiness is not something to find , it's just something we create, thank you for making this kind of videos, it really help me to improve myself love from India🇮🇳
I am 23 and I am curently in a huge down phase in life… but this video helped me a lot, I understood so much. Thank you so much. Life will get better and I will take initiative 🙏🏼
Hang in there while you struggle with this down phase at an early age. I recall myself going through something similar at 22. Stay calm, meditate, take a step back if need be, and don't put undue expectations and pressure on yourself. Always affirm that YOU are the driver of your life. Best of luck as you get through this.
im 21 and also "down". life for me has been on a downward trend since 16/17. feels like i've lost my will to learn ANYTHING, it's hard for me to find anything helpful being this nihilistic, all i got from the video was "get a hobby" which we've all heard before but can't for the life of me seem to do in this never-ending depression. im just waiting for things to get worse so i can snap and hopefully pick up the pieces.
@@billjones642 don't snap, hang in there. You deserve so much better. We're all here in this community to support you, reach out if you need any help. And while hobbies are great, they don't solve everything. Try to focus on your root cause and potential solutions to that.
The problem is that everyone initially thinks that making plans and schedules is something like the opposite of personal freedom, but maybe it is actually easier to achieve it this way. We should make the effort to try it.
You’ve put so many thoughts I’ve had this year into words. After going thru a traumatic event, I’ve been grinding my brain for an entire year trying to figure out how to make my life better. After a ton of trial and error, ultimately I came down to this exact process. And I guess someone wrote a book about the same conclusion I came to!! Absolutely crazy. It feels good not knowing I’m alone. This process works, it gave me a lot more meaning in the hardest time of my life. I definitely recommend trying it out to anyone who’s struggling. Lean into any semblance of joy you can, even if it’s just coffee, and keep building on top of it every day
My journey through sadness started when I realised I failed and I wasn't able to reach my goals. My worst nightmares came out and I have to give up and start to search a full time job. But I am proud person, I truly believe what you do everyday helps you to feel satisfied and now that I have a job I don't like, a stressful job I feel myself mentally tired, I am trying to change my life but is not that easy, sometimes I am more positive and I think I can succeed and sometimes I feel like I have any chance to change my life
This video came at the right time for me. As much as I'm evolving in life, I've always thought that, and recently this kind of idea has been destroying me. Every time I lay down to sleep, I think that i am living another boring day in a boring life. I don't want to live to earn money, I want to have an interesting life where I feel that it makes sense to live.
Bruh that's kind of a stupid ideology to be honest, money is a essential resource. It's ok if you don't priorize it as if it was world's top importance, but the value of money shouldn't be subjugated at all. If anything, money should matter more than your family, as it's your money that will save you from specific situations. You'll still rely on the sustenance of certain familial positions in certain cases because they're your support, your financial conditions will be a element throughout the process to serve as your foundation. Not saying you should treat your family like they're worthless, they still have value and are of utility, but money is irrevogably a item of major relevance in your life, as long as you're alive.
This video literally explained and put into words so eloquently what I'm going through. Thank you for making this video Ruri Ohama - It's extremely helpful as first step, especially as I've been feeling unable to even know what to do to break this cycle. You've gained a subscriber and you've genuinely helped bring positive change into my life. Thank you a million times!
Thank you so much for this video. As for a teacher in school, who burns out almost every day at work, those important things (like CREATING your free time, focusing on schedule, etc.) are so easy go forget about in never-ending routing and tiredness... Thank you for reminding about this little but very important things ❤️ May everything will be good in your life✨
Hi Ruri, thank you so much for this video,It’s so helpful and entertaining.I currently suffering from the problem of feeling bored from the very boring daily routine, because I am studying subjects that I do not like and against my will, and not having enough time to do what hobbies that I love, and As a result of this boredom,I became depressed. But this video at least gave me hope and I understood through it the right and best ways to get out of this big problem. And now I must take action these ways to save myself in getting out of this problem. This video is exactly what I was looking and need for this week.
Money is the biggest issue, people say money doesn’t buy you happiness but if I was wealthy I would travel wherever and whenever I want buy what I want and those things bring me happiness.
I had such a weird dream of you passing away, it was all trending on social media i was so sad and depressed 😭😭! i was like who gonna motivate me anymore ! i was totally hopeless ! when i woke up and find your video i felt so relief ! i'm so glad you're still here for us you have such a huge impact on my life ! please keep it up and you're really a life changer !
The human brain does not thrive on 100% peace, nor on 100% chaos. It thrives where we are in the middle, with chaos and peace pulling and pushing in opposite directions. I used to believe that a "simpler life was best." And it was, for a while. Then the boredom came and my mind was drawn to the chaos for growth, resilience, mindfulness, self-esteem, and purpose. Now I let my mind go where it pleases. There's no more fight. If I feel resentful it's great. When I feel loving it seems to become even greater.
I just wanna thank you for everything 🙏 your videos helped a lot. Almost a year ago my mental health was killing me but now I'm a different person because of you🤲
thank you for thisssss! im 19 and im going through my quarterlife crisis. My environment is FILLED with instant dopamine. I have became accustomed to falling into these easy-accesible temptations and I give in every time. You are like a mentor saying words that i need to hear while giving multiple viable options to substitute these guilty pleasures. this video was a like a stick giving me a spank saying "straighten yourself" (out of love obv). thank u truly for, this video!
I'm crying tears of joy because I've just found this channel. Your videos help me to fight with my anxiety, with the feeling of being useless. I can't put into words my gratitude to you for your help. Even if I can't translate some of the words of yours because the english language is not my native, I still keep watching it with the usage of translator. Thank you a lot! You've saved me.
Things starts to get boring when it stops being meaningful. We need a direction, something to work for, both for ourselves and for something else that goes way beyond our humble person. Could be others, could be an ideal. No matter who you are, you craft your own life by knowing who you are, and what, deep in your heart, you want to bring to your world. As a person, you shine, even if you dont realize that. If you feel bad, you shine black, if you feel fulfilled and strong, you bring your light to the others. So if you start to get bored in life, i'd suggest to connect with yourself.
Awesome video! The sympathic and parasympathic systems are talked about in detail in psychology. Psychology is one of my interests. I find breathing exercises super interesting as breathing is the only mechanism in the body that is both conscious and unconscious. Everything else falls in either one or the other category, not both.
Thanks. I always have feel like I'm in an endless cycle, I feel great and do things, and I'm "productive" for a few days and then I spend weeks, even months, doing practically nothing and feel overall sad, tired, souless, meaningless, boring, without a raison d'etre. I don't really think I have the words to describe how I feel at that periods, but I hope you, the reader, get the idea. I really wanna try to know how it feels to want to live. Maybe this time it will work. And maybe it can stay like that.
Thank you Ruri for the encouraging words, i am taking short braks from making music because i burn out easily.. and i suppose the music ends up different and not boring or "the same" i felt a lot of stress to make the more for the count .. but taking short breaks and enjoying my work will give me motivation and happiness. Thank you 😽
@Robel Habte why are you being so bible obsessed! In leviticus 20:13 it speaks death to homosexuals? I dont believe homosexuals are wrong for their feelings! Be kind to people or see a psychiatrists and heave a healthy clean gut system dont do colonoscopy it will rot your legs and arms like my neighbours
I feel like I'm happy with my life. You, multiple times, ask why I'm still watching until the end. The reason is because I like to listen this kind of content from multiple perspectives, in different moments of my life. I always learn, at least, a small thing.
I am thinking to change my current role in the company, because I felt a disgusting burnout syndrome a few months ago and I need to explore new things doing what I like it, thank you for your tips and I wish you a happy new year!
I find that the time you spend sleeping can actually be the best time of the entire day. If you approach life as if that time is just written off as automatic sleep, and the rest of the day is your only time to work with, you may be more likely to engage in habits which limit your quality of rest. But, if you treat the time you are resting as a crucial component to your fulfilment you will weigh your decisions accordingly.
My hobbies are drawing and writing, so I always try to make time for that in my weeks, and I record my process to be able to share here on RUclips and on Instagram :) enjoying these few little hobbies a lot! :)
Life boring or not is more like perception formed by outer exposure to other`s life and by others by other`s life. If you try to rethink everything in your life without comparing, everything is not so bad. But if you feel your life is boring but without outer comparison, then you need to move and quickly. I would like to put a thought I read earlier today It goes like You’re not lazy It’s just that ur mind desires a thousand things all at once..making u paralyse nd eventually we end up doing nothing at all Also, there is nothing called a perfect path…everything requires same amount of sacrifice and effort to succeed init. This thought is actually making sense even practically..I’ve decided now to complete one goal at a time now and keeping others aside.. Better one by one than nothing at all :) I really love ur utube channel..u are definitely helping teens like me to do the right thing.thank u
omg i actually cried reading this. This is the first comment ever to put me into tears. "You’re not lazy. It’s just that ur mind desires a thousand things all at once..making u paralyse nd eventually we end up doing nothing at all" is such a powerful line, and is something a relate too extremely which is probably hurting my mental and physical health
I think the number one thing to get out and enjoy life is, to get out your comfort zone box and experience something new. I agree that chemical balance is important, especially regulating the circuits of dopamine in the brain and body. (also with regulating serotonin, cortisol, oxytocin, etc.) The key is balance between your productive hours and the free time enjoy things. Overall, I love these life advice videos that you are putting out!
I love that she touched on the scrolling on social media. I’ve been seeing guilty and disgusted with myself after using Social media. I withdrew from most social media apps but I still feel bad even if I watch tv. Playing games anymore doesn’t make me happy and neither does watching a movie or reading or eating. Journaling doesn’t even help me anymore. I’ve drained all of my entertainment/dopamine solutions out. I really like going outdoors as it’s the only thing that makes me happy but I’d have to go outside every single day which isn’t a isssue but I don’t have a car to drive anywhere. Sitting in the porch doesn’t do much anymore, it gets boring and reparative. I used to go for a run during tu summer but now that it’s winter I can’t. I hate staying in
I usually don't enjoy productivity content on RUclips but your content always catches my interest and I end up watching and learning a lot from it. It is really inspiring and you helped me gain the courage to do the things I want to do. I hope you know how valuable and helpful your videos are and I hope you are happy
Very helpful to know WE CAN motivate ourselves with a little change of our habits, and from this improve to shift more over. The most important thing, DON'T BE WORRY by others thougt or others may see us, as, actually, we are more, more severe on ourselves than others do, to us. Thanks Ruri.
I just want u to know your video has impacted my life/conscious of mind in some way. It gave me a reminder of new habits I promised myself I'd follow through with but so very few times I tend to fall back into my old habits & never seem to stay consistent with my new ones. But after watching your video I've realized that I need to continue striving to become the best version of myself & create/manifest my own form of happiness in someway wtever it is I may enjoy doing because my happiness is very important to me as a human being so thank u very much for this eye opener it rlly helped as we tend to get lost in this world of everyday responsibilities & problems we forget to make time for ourselves.
Idk y I got recommended your videos soo late but the content you produced is soo good. I am also trying to get other younger people who are of my age and are stuck in this rut of doing activities that are running their lives and don't realize it yet. Big ups for you to spread good encouraging word out their, doing humanity a really big service. Thank you.
sometimes I feel like crying and giving up everything, everyone goes through that, right? but I try my best to hold back the tears and repress everything I feel and try to move on, I don't know if this will hurt me in the future, but at least I don't feel bad in the present
The problem I have is everything becomes boring after a month or so. I achieved great results from working out at the gym for a month and loved the results, but the routine got boring and I quit. I achieved great results from yoga and meditation. Loved the results but the routine got boring and I quit. In my life I found my happiness often comes from others. No I am not dependent, but I like being around people. If I start a routine or something with someone I will often never quit because I don't feel alone. I can just never find anyone and I am often always alone. Ironically I have lots of friends, but they don't particularly want to do the same things with me. The costly and adventurous things I mean. My life partner wants to do everything with me which is perfect, but we have been in an extreme ldr for many many years and still working on trying to close the distance. I just feel trapped and waiting.
One of the best things I have done to get outside of my bored spiral is to fall in love. Being attractive to someone helped me to be better version of myself. My life is full of adrenaline. I am happy about it. I more productive now.
Get hobbies. Most people I know are bored to death at home. They come home from work, then don't know what to do at home. Like, they go crazy from being in their own homes. Get into a ton of film genres, watch a lot of shows, get heavily into music, play video games, go hiking, work out, go biking, swimming, just do something. I work from home, and many people ask me why I don't go crazy when I'm at home. It's because I have so damn many interests. Always something new to do, learn or whatever.
Hi Ruri, thank you so much for your hard work on creating such a great and insightful video! Btw, what do you think about how to find the right answer about which path is the best to choose to achieve your life goals?

Me in my past, at the height of my 15 years in 2020, I was unhappy. I was doing nothing all day, just watching useless things and barely taking a shower. He slept during the day and woke up at night to do nothing. Until one day I fell in love. It was the best thing that happened to me. And I felt myself changing so drastically, all to be better for that person. I started doing what I liked most, listening to music, singing... and it was so natural. I already had plans to change my situation before this, but I feel like I wouldn't make much progress, I don't know, maybe yes too. Love saves. 1 year later I found out it was all an illusion. Life was hard on me at that time. It's like it was all a mistake. But everything passes. I'm not saying I'm better now than when I was in love, but I sure am fine. I feel like I'm on the right track. I hope to fall in love again.
I've got a lot of problems, but whenever i feel like giving up, i would just find a funny source material to laugh at, go for some afternoon run, play with my pets, and then that's it. Sometimes, we just need a break from ourselves. Detach for a while and let your inner child take over
I have been following your videos for quite some time and am always impressed with the production and content quality. They are consistently engaging and well thought out. I hope you continue to produce them for a long time to come. This one, in particular, rang true for me. I am getting bored with the same old routine day after day. The advice in this video was spot on and made me think about how to get out of this cycle I have been in for far too long. Thank you for making me think! You are truly wise beyond your years.
I'm somewhat in the lucky situation to follow my dream-job and to do what I love and it's still freakin hard! Following your dream is so much easier said than done because EVERYTHING that you do repetitively sooner or later becomes usualness... yet to be able to compete within free enterprise economy you have to collect a lot experience through repitition. This is one of the biggest things I learned in 2022... focus on what is important and fun to you and remind yourself why you got into your profession in the first place.
Why my life is boring and unhappy?I figure out that there is two main reasons for it. One is i don't have any hobby to make my life fulfilling, and i find it very difficult to build a hobby or to find something i truely like. The second is i have very little friend which mean i lack of connection with the world, i find meaningless for doing anything supposed to be interesting just because i don't have anyone to share with. For this new year revolution. I will try my best to find the solution casue i don't wanna wasting my life any more
i am going through this rut right now..to get out of it..just do something different immediately, watch youtube video you would never watch, watch a movie you would never watch, talk to your neighbors if you usually don't; take different classes, plan vacations you have never gone before and gradually you will get out of your rut..and if that does not work..talk to a good therapist and family..
I was in the position of hoping I don't wake up in the morning for literally years. I did keep waking up, and I kept wishing I hadn't. I had a couple of nasty accidents which wrecked my foot, physiotherapists told me something was preventing it from regaining proper movement, but the Doctors told me they couldn't find a problem. Following an operation where my foot was reconstructed, it would seize up after a walk of about a mile, and that was it for anything from 10 days to a week, so one walk a week was very ambitious. In fact my main form of excercise became my weekly food shopping, other than that I was stuck at work on a forklift or in front of the TV. Amputation would have allowed me a better quality of life for that period. It took 7 years for me to twist that ankle, and whatever was causing the problem was fixed as simply as that. The twist was a repurcussion of me actively trying to damage it. I literally wanted to force an operation or amputation. Now I'm still taking it slowly, but that is because I want to build strenth and endurance and ensure that I never end up like that again. The point is that things don't just happen, you are responsible for creating that change you're waiting for.
If you’re looking for a reason to go outside i recommend geocaching, munzee and pokemon go! Short explanation: in geocaching you find caches (different size containers) in real life. Some are hard to find and some are easy, sometimes you need to solve puzzles in order to find them. Munzee is similar but instead of caches you find QR code stickers. In pokemon go you go around catching pokemon and battling in gyms. I find all of these super entertaining and sometimes puzzling. It also gives me a reason to go outside for a couple hours
Hiii ,I'm from argentina , i would like to saw this video two years ago. Was soo depressed and don't know what to do to be more happy . But now i can see what are you trying to show here with your video , and help me a lot , life can be soo precious. Sometimes the only thing we need is to organize ourselves to be able to enjoy more.
6:53-7: 02 it’s something I KNOW but still struggle with doing anything about. Like I’ve accepted a terrible life, and I won’t make the necessary changes I need. But I’ll still wish for a better life. It’s helpful hearing your words at 6:42.
I recently came across your channel and I really like your videos and the topics. I also had this boring, meaningless life for a while, which caused me more depression and some things I did felt wrong. I would cautiously say that I have this time behind me because I found a hobby that I enjoy and has helped me much, but I don't think I'm completely out of the woods yet and sometimes I fall behind a bit, because my hobby is is something manual that takes a lot of time and that you can't do it always but that's okay rather on other things. I don't think life is boring or pointless, but it's not yet the way I imagine it should be. I think I should exercise more because that might help. Your video still helped me. Many greetings from Germany.
You remind me of an old virtual friend of mine who disappeared, I hope you don't disappear either, because your work is great, I'm even going to download these videos because they are worth gold. Congratulations!
This might be one of the best video I have ever seen, I watched a lot of your videos I don't really leave comments . At first when I watched subscribed your channel I did because I wanted to improve my English I always said to myself why I read I alot books I watched a lot of movies , series I attended to many siminars but yet I can't even talk for five minutes properly now I know it because now on whenever I watch your video I will leave comment not just on your channel but on Facebook insta any social medias that I have , after each book I read I will make a summary and post in on Facebook groups anything that got benefit from I will let my friends to know it thanks again I really like your English the way you talk and how you pronounce words I am big fan of you❤❤
many adhd people can relate with this problem . we adhd people want to enjoy life but we cannot . we cannot focus on a particular thing for a long time and loose interest easily . l love playing games so l basically play games for whole day because l am really invested in it . l dont know what time it is nor do l care . lts the same boring life no matter how much l try to change unless l get a therapist but it is impossible . l hope you all are doing well in your life . peace
I think sometimes we should do something and maybe it will be wrong, but it's your life. You can make mistakes. It's so important for your life. It's teach you how become better
As a Dad who has a one year old Daughter, I'm tired most of the time but not one minute of the time I spend after waking up is boring. And stop focusing too much on yourself. Sometimes, caring for others can be a hard but rewarding experience.

Really trying to pick up good habits again. This video is complicated FOR the people who are complicated and those people are me. It's definitely easier said than done, which is why this video was made. Ofc not everyone is going to understand why this video is so complex, which is fine, but it's better to understand some people's mental health could be a lot serious to just be fixed with simple problems. Everyone life is different, everyone has access to different things, maybe it's hard to find friends for some people, even food too, so life is different for everyone and so simple solutions never really apply to everyone but for some people :)

In this age where we’re exposed to what everyone around us is up to through social media, we often find us comparing ourselves with others, and in turn feel a sense of lack for what we don’t have. Instead, stay away from social media, and be grateful everyday for what you already have 😊
True, I always comparing myself with others. İt is a huge problem for me. I just must focus on my talents. I hope I can do it. Thank you 😊😊😊
Thank you🙂❤️
thanks dude
That’s so true, I have been thinking that what if there are no social media, how my life would have been going especially about people’s mindset. As u said people find them comparing themselves with others. Those thoughts would have a influence on something if it is good or not.
I like the ideas that we should appreciate what we already have, rather than seeking what u missing
Exactly man 👌
I wanna share my little story.
It's been really difficult for me, but this comment brings me hope, so thank u
we're in the same boat friend, thank you for telling this T^T, fighting..!
Have you found a job?

So true

I don't really remember much from childhood but as I started unfolding it, I rediscovered myself and things that I used to like/love but totally forgot about them !

I don't enjoy hard-thinking activities, but I love reading and journaling.
I don't like relaxing and yet taking bath and lighting a candle helps !

@@ShenShen88 how did you find your vision and what was it
No. You don't need goals to be happy and it doesn't mean your life is meaningless.
yeh brk
@@iamsobeautifulomg But humans are moved by goals? We need objectivity to keep going on. It's the achievement that matters. This is what motivates people to reach and obtain what they desire. You'll only truly gain if you're in the game.
5:00 I would say more important factors for your hobby that would stimulate you in a healthy way would be:
1. the hobby needs to be social, practice it with other people so you can all share the time together, have fun, laugh, experience and enjoy life
2. the hobby needs to have some sort of progression built into it, whenever you progress your brain will give you a reward for improving and accomplishing a goal
3. combining the previous two you get another reward - whenever you get better and get a new skill in your hobby you could impress the other people in your social group or the people with whom you are practicing the hobby - this means you get another reward from your brain - you get to feel good because you receive social approval and admiration

Ignore those others. money is important sure, but like hustle culture is you are living life just for it then life isnt worth it.
I feel you! I think the same

Thank you! This fact was really interested for me. I didn't know that
Everything else? Blinking is also both conscious and unconscious.

Wonderful perspective! I like looking at it that way.

Life boring or not is more like perception formed by outer exposure to other`s life and by others by other`s life. If you try to rethink everything in your life without comparing, everything is not so bad. But if you feel your life is boring but without outer comparison, then you need to move and quickly.

I will try my best to find the solution casue i don't wanna wasting my life any more
i am going through this rut right now..to get out of it..just do something different immediately, watch youtube video you would never watch, watch a movie you would never watch, talk to your neighbors if you usually don't; take different classes, plan vacations you have never gone before and gradually you will get out of your rut..and if that does not work..talk to a good therapist and family..
awww man its break my heart when see you cry
Lets change our life to a better life
I was in the position of hoping I don't wake up in the morning for literally years.
This is the most relatable and helpful video I've seen in a while. Thank you for this!
Hobbies are definitely fundamental to a happy life. I learned this the hard way.
This is true i have accepted my shit life tho
"Self-growth"... to what end? Grow into what? Whom? Why? How do we know?
Many greetings from Germany.
that is inspiring for me,I can learn knowledge and improve my English in the meantime.
your ideas are game changing I wish you find real happines and good luck
You remind me of an old virtual friend of mine who disappeared, I hope you don't disappear either, because your work is great, I'm even going to download these videos because they are worth gold. Congratulations!

Life should not be boring. That is deep.Vety very deep
This is my favorite video you did so far. Thank you for sharing these mindful tips.
Thank you Ruri for what you are doing. And thank you that you are. Your videos help me to find hope and a better understanding of myself.
As a Dad who has a one year old Daughter, I'm tired most of the time but not one minute of the time I spend after waking up is boring.
And stop focusing too much on yourself. Sometimes, caring for others can be a hard but rewarding experience.
I'm 17 years old, this video sounds very helpful, and it gave me the motivation to actually try harder. thank you so much
Nope, don't do this, if you don't want to waste your prime time
@@doodoo7207 what do you suggest?
@@QueenJiyeonnie eat meat i swear to God you Will not even tired of you eat meat everyday, don't ever go vegan, get some friend or your most hobbie, and do job . Simple than this complicated video
@@doodoo7207 i get tired of meat sometimes, i wont really ever go vegan, but i do eat vegan friendly foods too. I have 1 best friend, but I'll have to say goodbye to her once we leave to college, getting friends can be hard when i have social anxiety, I have things i want to do, but i never do them bc i have no mental will power to do them sometimes bc it be those days where i feel too drained to think about living, but i am trying to do consistent things i love to do.
@@QueenJiyeonnie i cant explain with detail because English is not my first language, vegan can destroy health or even your mood. but maybe you can check the video from "goatis" , he got alot video about vegan cult
I'm so fed up, I can't handle loneliness anymore. I'm tired of hating myself and I wish all this would finally end
I think i will try do upcycling every Friday night. I love sewing and i enjoy being able to fit in clothes that once used to fit me
Thank you, after watching this I feel more motivated to change something in my life, and I mostly know how to do that ❤
