Already the 3rd video in this festive December series vlog 🥰 Which spot would you wanna visit? Man...I love Osaka so much, everyone is soooo friendly & such good food always 🫶
@@eliasatalah86I love all of Japan but Osaka just feels like home. I love where we stay and I’ve got to know the locals in that area. Being welcomed back every time we return is special. Osaka’s sense of humour is next level
There was a Q&A video a while back where someone asked Sarah how she's able to be so positive all the time. I don't 100% remember her answer but it was something along the lines of she just made the choice to, and after a while she was able to pull herself out of the dark headspace she was in because of that choice. I found that so inspiring. The cafes and sights are awesome, but I get so hype for her energy. It's like a warm cup of hojicha on a cold day
A nose beanie! How adorable. My brother learned crochet at school when he was 7, and made nose beanie that he gifted for Christmas to my mom. lol. It was at the Grundschule.
For dry weather, I recommend using a saline nasal spray. I was using that in the desert. And when it’s winter in the desert, it is 50 times worse. And I’ll work on that nose beanie❤
Merry Christmas Sarah! I appreciate all the videos you are making about Japan as I want to go there one day and hope 2025 will be even a better year for you 🎄
Your vlogs are getting better and better! Excited for your upcoming vid on Universal Studios so I can see how it compares with the parks in Orlando and Hollywood 🙂🎄
After trying several popular Ramen shops in Tokyo, Kyoto, Sapporo, Osaka and recently Fukuoka....my favorite is still Yashichi in Osaka cos you can add on charred grilled chicken which infuses smokiness into the rich broth
Osaka! The place I left my heart.. I was just back for a few weeks this past summer, but now I'm in the States again feeling nostalgic. I've never been to the Midosuji illumination. I wonder if that's new, or if I just didn't know about it when I lived in the area. Probably the latter. I used to go to the Kobe Luminarie every year. I'll have to explore Shinsekai more next time I have a chance to travel back to Osaka. That kushikatsu shop looks so nice! I think tonkotsu shops are also know for their unlimited cabbage. I love that. When in Umeda, I love to go to Hanadako for my takoyaki fix. It's in the Shin-Umeda Shokudogai under Hankyu Umeda station, near the crosswalk that connects to JR Osaka station. Hanadako has been there for many decades, I think since the Shin-Umeda Shokudogai opened in the 1950's. Highly recommend if you get a chance to check it out.
These midosuji purple/blue light decorations are truly splendid! Thank you for showing them to us! 🤩🎄✨ But if you want to taste a really good brezel, you might want to come for a visit here in Munich! 🥨🍺🇩🇪
Christmas drops hard in Japan. We arrived in the 28th of November and no decorations. By the time we were up walking around Chiba on 12/1 there were decorations everywhere. We loved Osaka!!! But were bummed out the Donkey Kong land wasn’t open to the general public went to USJ on 12/3. That Christmas tree at USJ was very impressive. can’t wait for your video about your trip to USJ.
I'm impressed you can get stollen in Japan! It's my favourite winter thing, definitely prefer it to British style fruitcake. Also, all those lights are super pretty, I'm not much for celebrating this time of year but that would definitely lift my mood. Thank you for sharing 😊
Yesss! I went to a Naruto Taiyaki Honpo when I was in Tokyo in October (near Daimon station). The custard one was super sweet but so hot and crispy and comforting.
December in Osaka looks so magical! 🎄✨ The festive vibes and city lights create such a cozy and heartwarming atmosphere. Thanks for sharing this beautiful moment! 😊🎥 #JapanDreams
exquisite car at 4:02, that orange bath bomb is quite interesting! I got to say out of all the vege, cabbage is one I love, I can eat my weight in cabbage at this point
What fun activities, thanks for taking us around Osaka 😊I'm in Québec City which is a very Christmas-y place LOL. Not doing Vlogmas this year but I did in 2022 so I have a ton on my channel. I am doing a weekly Christmas-themed video for December though. I am making notes for the kushikatsu place in Osaka for when I visit Japan in a few years (I wan tto go to the good tasting one lol) and I would totally love doing the illuminations and Christmas plate place 🎄
Places with very interesting Christmas decorations! I haven't been to Nanba for a long time 🤔 The lighting is beautiful too, I need to go. Seerasan, I'm here, I'm your love 😂 Nice trip in Osaka 👍🏻
I do enjoy your videos but every time I watch I get incredibly hungry because you're always in a cafe or a shop getting food. Anyway thank you for showing me Japan I think it's marvellous.
Hi how are you going? Almost every weekend I come to Umeda,Osaka,Japan. Hankyu department store in Umeda,Osaka,Japan holds Christmas events so on on the 9th floor of it every year. My Japanese mate and I saw the Christmas light's ceremony in Midosuji street on the 3rd of November,2024 and we walked back for Umeda,Osaka,Japan. so great that ye have been on the Umeda shimichi pedestrian bridge where Judas priest's vocalist Mr Rob Halford took some pictures of Christmas light or illuminations from the bridge whilst he stayed in Osaka,Japan. :) Actually I walked on the bridge last Saturday as I walked home from other Christmas event called Osaka Hikari Renaissance held from the 14th of December to Christmas including Projection mapping on Osaka city central public hall in Nakanoshima park,Osaka,Japan every year. I was born in Osaka prefecture so I am so pleased to hear You love Osaka. cheers
Seerasan, I'm Japanese who lives in Sydney for more than 10 years. I'm from Osaka where super friendly people and 90% of awesome Japanese food are from. hahaha I've been watching your videos and they made me miss Japan so much! Thank you for loving my home country Japan!
I always enjoy your videos. Thanks a lot! Nasic offers a "nose balm" (Pflegestift für die Nase). ). I don't know if you can get something similar in Japan.
That Christmas plate was very pretty. I'm very surprised to see just how festive the city is for the holiday season! Are you spending Christmas back in Australia or in Tokyo? Regardless, have a very happy Christmas and New Year! May nice surprises await you this holiday season and in the New Year!!
That was the best-looking pizza I've seen Japan come out with and quite some time. usually the pizza I see coming out of Japan looks like it came out of a microwave.
Sarah needs a big red clown nose for her cold nose 😄 I went to Umeda Sky Building when I was in Osaka in Dec last year. Such a funky looking building. Got some breathtaking views of the Osaka night 💜
Osaka does Christmas right. I was in Ueno on Christmas day last year and the most festive thing I saw were the KFC delivery drivers on their mopeds wearing Santa hats.
There was something about Osaka Station that really threw me off in a way it's hard to articulate. Like... It was facing the wrong direction. It felt like this one entrance should have been on the West side, but it wasn't? So using it as a landmark when getting around the city was a fool's errand and it caught me offguard all the gorramn time.
Osaka probably has the wisest mayor/governor! They are totally doing what Shibuya in Tokyo is banning/avoiding! Osaka is the place to be for foreign Festivities like Halloween or Christmas, Osaka likes to PARTY! Support Osaka!

On my flight to Tokyo watching this. Now considering going to Osaka. LOL.
Osaka is my 1st choice of anywhere in Japan. I visit twice a year and sometimes that is not enough ♥️
