Love this build! ONLY THING I'll say, for both this and the last penthouse, is that from experience, it gets really annoying if you don't separate the elevator lobby from the rest of the apartment. Since visiting sims just spawn at the elevator, they'll try to knock probably on a random interior door and it also means you can't do a simply lock on the "front door" to prevent sims from randomly entering
@@foranzo1582 In real life penthouses have elevators straight into the apartment because they don't need hallways as just one person owns the whole floor. I think you have to have a key to get to that level/buzz someone up or something; not just anyone can get in.
Hi Deli! I've been watching some feng shui expert youtube creators and find the concepts really interesting. I think it'd be awesome if you were to renovate one of your builds to follow feng shui principles, discussing the changes made. It'd also be fun to imagine different scenarios - a low-budget renovation keeping all furniture and only repainting, moving, and changing decorations for example.
I'd love for you to renovate the rooftop bar and make it into a penthouse! Probably a modern one, with lots of color. I'd also love an industrial apartment with a ton of plants, like a nature meets city sorta thing. I've always loved that aesthetic. Sorta like how dystopian cities look, with nature overtaking them when humans are gone.

I usually end up keeping the three floor plan, but it would be cool to see what you do with it. It might also be neat to see you do a 100 baby challenge apartment-I don’t think you’ve ever done that challenge build in an apartment before. Finally, I am doing a challenge where I need a mid range streamers apartment. The streamer is a woman, she has a husband and will have one child who will grow up here. Apartment renovations are so fun, so I've been moving these videos! And as someone that used to have long acrylic nails before having a baby, I liked having them done, not so much the process to get them done lol! And it took forever because of how complicated they were, 3-4 hours each time. But it was worth the end result. I miss my acrylics! 🥲

This is the apartment I default to when I have a single career Sim. I lay it out with rugs to deliniate rooms and use a couple of screens to make a "bedroom" - the openness makes it easy to keep track of my Sim but I ADORE how you did this. Totally downloading.
This build is fire! I have such a hard time branching out sometimes when it comes to using different items. I get so stuck on what I like that I find myself recreating the same thing over and over lol. I need to do some pack restriction builds to get out of that funk. Super glad to hear you are well! I can't wait to check out your nails. I have gotten acrylics a few times and I loved how they turned out, but I am so shy sometimes and the thought of sitting there for long periods of time drives me nutty. After watching all your apartment renos, I renovated this penhouse too! I made it into like two seperate houses so my famous sims and his brother could live together but in different ‘houses’. I loooooove building industrial lofts!

I used to get my nails done every two weeks. The main reason was because the gel polish would hold up against the work I was doing. But then I decided to learn how to do it myself and that’s where I’ve been ever since. I sit down every Sunday and paint my nails for the week. I love the way it looks and I think it always makes me look more polished. Plus, I used to bite my nails incessantly. It’s helped a ton!!

Love this reno! It's probably my favorite one out of all of the ones I've seen done on this penthouse. I agree with others comments too that we need some more apartments. They should be an option in all of the worlds, even if they aren't placed lots, EA should make builds that can be placed and would work for the other worlds.
I really love the industrial builds and interior, so this penthouse is up my alley. I also do not like doing my nails at a salon because at one time I got fungus under my nail at a salon.
I think it looks very cool! I struggle with penthouses. I renovated that one once without bulldozing it and it ended up being my fav, but then my sims family grew too big so they had to move. I was bummed! I tried to add to it, but it destroyed the industrial vibe. Loved this vid!

I love how Deli's speedbuilds are not *that* fast. I usually can't watch speedbuilds because I get dizzy and uncomfortable from how quickly everything moves, but I never have problems with the ones on this channel

Amazing upgrade. I dont know why I've never thought to take a completely different approach to the layout like you did. I love it! The only problem with the lift/elevator going straight into the home (The Sims team's bad design, and not Deli's fault) is that visiting Sims will spawn in the home and knock on whatever door is deemed to be the "front door" which could be the bathroom or bedrooms in this case.
I would love a more family friendly apartment, either a really big family or a smaller one! Maybe a little messy with lots of stuff and toys. A mixture of new and old interior/furniture and lots of color.

I paint my nails, it sometimes takes little bit of time, sometimes almost half of a day, lol 😂 At my school, i believe it was either elementary or junior high, there was one or two kids who could flip their eyelids and they did it as "cool trick i learned" or as "let's scared everyone with this trick". It doesn't look nice, that i can say. I live in a apartment building, right next to elevator, even after long time living here, it still sometimes scares me whenever someone use the elevator because that thing is so loud when it stops 😂 but this is old building, which can explain a lot
I practically never play in the big apartments because that's just not the kind of gameplay I'm into (though I love looking at people's renovations of them), but I'm pretty sure I've never even LOOKED at this lot before... 😂😂 so this was extra interesting. 😅 The renovation turned out absolutely gorgeous! I loooved all the industrial items you mixed and matched from different packs, plus the bits of pastel etc... It turned out soo cozy looking even though there's obviously quite a few metal elements. 💜 (the plants the plants!! 🥰)
I worked in soho last year and you definitely nailed the aesthetic! I find the apartment Reno’s sooo satisfying. I don’t have any of the packs with actual apartments so it’s fun to watch these. An apartment renovated as a modern mid century with some warm colorful feature walls would be really cool. I imagine a gallery owner or interior designer living in it.

i can relate to the fidgety issues....I use a yoga ball chair at my desk because it gives me something fun to do when im stuck sat here for hours on end...I dont even stay still while asleep...im constantly moving some part of my body
I love this apartment deli ♥️😍! It is absolutely gorgeous. My favorite thing about this build is all the mismatched furniture but it still goes together. Industrial is my favorite style but everything you do is beautiful ♥️.
Maybe you could give the Stargazer Lounge some love. I like that lot, but it's weird with the lap pool and totally open bar area. It's a sim killer in the winter! I'd like to see it made really fancy and more practical for cold weather.
Deli, I sooooo want to see you do a build sort of greek style, like fresh and blue with white take greek statues as inspo and all that! LOVE THE INDUSTRIAL STYLE SO BAD TOO!
An apartment for roommates with clashing styles like grandma style and hard core rock. Or Gothic and pink frills or seashell beachy and minimalist. Something like that. Their rooms can be all their style but the shared spaces have to mesh the two happily.
This is my favorite renovation so far. I love this! I think it looks better with the flat roof. It blends better. Overall, I love the feel of this one.
I would love to see you redo the community lots in San Myshuno! Especially the big park. The nature/industrial exterior made me think of High Line park in New York City.
i kept up with fake (acrylic) nails for about 2.5 years, but it's such a hassle (and expensive) to go every 3-4 weeks to get the color taken off, a "fill", and then repolished. Any polish on my regular nails just breaks very quickly; at least with gel, though, it dries faster under the UV light. So I mostly have bare nails, or i paint them myself and then pick at the polish for a few days :)

This penthouse is gorgeous!! I love how industrial it is & how "playable" all of your builds are! They always look more minimal, but still lived in & for some reason that's something I can never manage to pull of myself! 😅 As for next apartment reno suggestions, how about one of the Landgraab Apartments in Uptown? So either the Feng's apartment or the one next to it? You could maybe turn the one next to the Feng's into a big family's apartment with lots of noisy kids. So the Feng's really don't like how noisy their neighbors are 😂
Lilsimsie just did quite a lovely wedding venue. I think you could do a lovely one too , and I do build with cc packs (maybe the promise pack I think my Charly pancakes?) we could use one for growing together if you don’t have wedding stories. I’m going to make my childhood lovers marry and then probably renew their vows as elders now there’s more for elders to do!
I would love to see a roommate oriented apartment (think New Girl-esque). Could have a mixture of styles for bedrooms which overlap in the communal spaces, mid-range price point, and focused on adults and up.

I would love to see builds for made-up scenarios. Like, a build for 1 sim and 6 pets, or a build for a magician using the Realm Of Magic pack (SPARRINGLY cuz it is very jarring), a build for a single sim to maximize ALL skills... Also, since you are in a big builds wave, I'd like to see like, a big lake house, a house making use of a big basement, and also homes with specific rooms dedicated to careers or skills (a house with a home recording studio or an industrial kitchen for making and selling food from home). Maybe you could find some CC and make wild things like a house with a dedicated space for D&D games!

Maybe a little messy with lots of stuff and toys. A mixture of new and old interior/furniture and lots of color.
This looks so good! I paint my nails, it sometimes takes little bit of time, sometimes almost half of a day, lol 😂 At my school, i believe it was either elementary or junior high, there was one or two kids who could flip their eyelids and they did it as "cool trick i learned" or as "let's scared everyone with this trick". It doesn't look nice, that i can say. I live in a apartment building, right next to elevator, even after long time living here, it still sometimes scares me whenever someone use the elevator because that thing is so loud when it stops 😂 but this is old building, which can explain a lot

I practically never play in the big apartments because that's just not the kind of gameplay I'm into (though I love looking at people's renovations of them), but I'm pretty sure I've never even LOOKED at this lot before... 😂😂 so this was extra interesting. 😅 The renovation turned out absolutely gorgeous! I loooved all the industrial items you mixed and matched from different packs, plus the bits of pastel etc... It turned out soo cozy looking even though there's obviously quite a few metal elements. 💜 (the plants the plants!! 🥰)

I worked in soho last year and you definitely nailed the aesthetic! I find the apartment Reno’s sooo satisfying. I don’t have any of the packs with actual apartments so it’s fun to watch these. An apartment renovated as a modern mid century with some warm colorful feature walls would be really cool. I imagine a gallery owner or interior designer living in it.

i learned to make gel nails from youtube tutorials because i never felt like going to a nail tech but i really like having fancy nails!

i can relate to the fidgety issues....I use a yoga ball chair at my desk because it gives me something fun to do when im stuck sat here for hours on end...I dont even stay still while asleep...im constantly moving some part of my body

I love this apartment deli ♥️😍! It is absolutely gorgeous. My favorite thing about this build is all the mismatched furniture but it still goes together. Industrial is my favorite style but everything you do is beautiful ♥️.

Maybe you could give the Stargazer Lounge some love. I like that lot, but it's weird with the lap pool and totally open bar area. It's a sim killer in the winter! I'd like to see it made really fancy and more practical for cold weather.

An apartment for roommates with clashing styles like grandma style and hard core rock. Or Gothic and pink frills or seashell beachy and minimalist. Something like that. Their rooms can be all their style but the shared spaces have to mesh the two happily.
This is my favorite renovation so far. I love this! I think it looks better with the flat roof. It blends better. Overall, I love the feel of this one.
I would love to see you redo the community lots in San Myshuno! Especially the big park. The nature/industrial exterior made me think of High Line park in New York City.
i kept up with fake (acrylic) nails for about 2.5 years, but it's such a hassle (and expensive) to go every 3-4 weeks to get the color taken off, a "fill", and then repolished. Any polish on my regular nails just breaks very quickly; at least with gel, though, it dries faster under the UV light. So I mostly have bare nails, or i paint them myself and then pick at the polish for a few days :)

This penthouse is gorgeous!! I love how industrial it is & how "playable" all of your builds are! They always look more minimal, but still lived in & for some reason that's something I can never manage to pull of myself! 😅 As for next apartment reno suggestions, how about one of the Landgraab Apartments in Uptown? So either the Feng's apartment or the one next to it? You could maybe turn the one next to the Feng's into a big family's apartment with lots of noisy kids. So the Feng's really don't like how noisy their neighbors are 😂
Lilsimsie just did quite a lovely wedding venue. I think you could do a lovely one too , and I do build with cc packs (maybe the promise pack I think my Charly pancakes?) we could use one for growing together if you don’t have wedding stories. I’m going to make my childhood lovers marry and then probably renew their vows as elders now there’s more for elders to do!

I would love to see a roommate oriented apartment (think New Girl-esque). Could have a mixture of styles for bedrooms which overlap in the communal spaces, mid-range price point, and focused on adults and up.

I would love to see builds for made-up scenarios. Like, a build for 1 sim and 6 pets, or a build for a magician using the Realm Of Magic pack (SPARRINGLY cuz it is very jarring), a build for a single sim to maximize ALL skills...
Also, since you are in a big builds wave, I'd like to see like, a big lake house, a house making use of a big basement, and also homes with specific rooms dedicated to careers or skills (a house with a home recording studio or an industrial kitchen for making and selling food from home). Maybe you could find some CC and make wild things like a house with a dedicated space for D&D games!
