Editor here, addressing some of the common themes in the comments. About covering/blurring the plates: Because it’s a RUclips privacy complaint issue. Anyone can file a privacy complaint on any video and RUclips makes it our responsibility to either blur it or cut it out rather than looking into the validity of the claim first. If we don’t fix it within the time allotted, it counts as a strike against our channel. Three strikes and the channel is deleted forever. Not only that, but it demonetizes the video too. It’s easier to physically cover the plate during filming than to go back and blur it during editing. Not to mention that RUclips’s blurring feature is almost impossible to use. It’s not accurate and it takes forever to save, if it even does save without losing all of your work. Countless hours of my time has been wasted on trying to use RUclips’s blurring feature. Tiktok is even worse because it doesn’t have a feature to go back and edit the video once it’s posted, so if we get a privacy complaint, we just have to delete the video and repost the edited version. About the narration: The clip had no sound because the mic was either off or not plugged in. The only noise that the clip had was static. I tried to save the clip by getting the background information and narrating it, but it seems that a lot of people didn’t like it. It would be easier and a LOT less work just to scrap the clips all together if people don’t like that, but then you don’t get to see any of it. Jeff and Kristen actually kept this SD card and tried to edit it themselves because some clips had no sound and it was a mess. That’s why the NYE illegal parks are just airing. They were just going to delete all of this but I know how much everyone likes illegal parks, so I tried to save it. But, if that’s not something you want to see I can just delete soundless clips in the future.
Kendra, Jeff, and Kristen - You all went to extraordinary lengths to edit and save the audio-less portions of the SD card. Kendra, you went above and beyond the call of duty to obtain background information and narrate it with voice overs. Please count my vote to keep soundless clips for the following reasons: (1) the illegal parks are popular with subscribers; (2) the audio problem is extremely rare with EA videos; and (3) Kendra's detective work to dig up background information and her pleasant voice overs are very nice. I don't understand why you are receiving complaints about this rather rare issue.
I'm sure the people who made those comments are thankful for your explanations. You didn't have to take the time to type all this up, but you did, and it's appreciated.

Well, you know, I was a member of a professional association and traveled around the State of Florida attending various meetings in different cities. On one trip, we had to go to Broward County, Florida, stopped for gas, and asked for the key to the restroom. The response I got was "We no got." You're supposedly running a service station and you don't have a restroom. Well, I told the operator, "If you no got a restroom, you're not getting the $20 bill I was going to spend to purchase gas, whereupon we left that facility and went a little further down the road to someplace with customer restrooms!

I’m from south Florida (not Miami) Miami is the same way with paying to park. He knew what he was doing.. being cheap cost him some cash.. great video. I’m sure losing that audio was a pain but tbh her narrations made it that much funnier. Great job
My father-in-law was a tower. Had a truck just like that. His competition basically ran him out of business because they were able to get the flatbeds and he was a poor mans tow. He said to keep insurance was costing him thousands each month so in the end he took early retirement. His hands were crippled by carpel tunnel and arthritis. He passed away 2 years ago. Lots of respect for tow truck drivers.
Interesting. The auto loader was introduced in 1983. It is a huge improvement over previous technology. I have seen many YT sites where they simply "snatch and grab." Everything Auto is unique in that they actually strap down the wheels on the autoloader, and they also use dollies on most vehicles. On other channels, they literally pull away within 5 minutes.
“I’m handicapped”, “I’m pregnant”, “I’m a cop”, “I have a ton of kids”, I’m a Christian”. My favorite is “I’m from out of town”. Yeah, 90% of the people parking in Gatlinburg are from out of town. I use the 'magical' parking spot provided by my motel. If we want to go farther than we want to walk, we use the Trolley system...easy-peasy...if visitors could watch some videos, most of their questions would be answered. Still the best channel on YT! Y'all ROCK!
I only found this channel after my family visited Gatlinburg, but I was smart enough to pay to park. I didn’t get to meet Jeff, the easy way or the hard way. If we ever do go back down there, we will definitely make sure our hang tags are easy to see and we pay for all our parking.

I been visiting the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area for many years and every time I come I always stay at a place in Pigeon Forge and when I want to go into Gatlinburg I just take the trolley into Gatlinburg and don't have to worry about any parking I think this is the best way

After watching your vlogs I became curious, and looked up parking fees, etc. Why on earth people try to skirt the parking fees at $12-$20 a day depending on season is beyond me! Better to pay the fee than a $300 tow! There's also 2 free city lots with about 300 spaces combined to park, but if not available, just pay the fee to park legally, UHG! 🤦♂😅👍😎✌🗽

I agree with that caller. I drove 80 in a 70mph zone everyday, and that police officer actually had the nerve to write me a ticket on Friday, after not catching me all the other days. Its not fair.

The dude from Miami should know better because in Miami you have to pay to park everywhere on the street is 1 dollar an hour or if you pay for a parking garage it's 40 dollars for the whole week. I stayed down there for 3 weeks and the best way was renting the parking garage!

It's a RUclips and Tiktok privacy complaint issue. It's easier to physically cover them during filming than to get a privacy complaint and have to edit and blur them later.
People illegally parked may not be there with their usual partner. If they spot this on RUclips they can raise a privacy complaint. Easier to just cover/blur it. Particularly if they end up being abusive on the phone or in person. Yeah, not a lot of sense … :D

I’ve been to Gatlinburg nearly all my life every year in fall. We walk everywhere due to traffic. Jeff is a driving master to be able to navigate that truck in this place. Let alone towing vehicles in and out of these extremely busy and narrow parking lots
it seems at though you tow "lots" of Florida tag cars. But many rental cars from all over have Florida tags. AND, I have been in Murphy and other NC tags....and it is amazing to me - 20 cars at a traffic light....15 with Florida tags. no joke. The NC mountains have been a destination for Florida flat-landers for all my lifetime.

Hi. I just found your channel and I like it. I’m in the automotive industry and these types of video interest me. I understand that those whose cars have been towed are in shock, but do people in Your city not know if Uber, Lyft or taxis cabs??? Here’s my suggestion: you folks should buy a mid size suv , hire a person to drive it, and offer a shuttle service from the tow site to your yard for a nominal fee! This way they pay you coming and going!
Not once in my adult life have I had a vehicle towed for being parked where it wasn't supposed to be, there's been a few reasons why I've been towed but never for illegal parking, the closest I've ever been was back in '86 when I rolled a top heavy tractor trailer which I pretty much walked away from if the steering wheel didn't pin me in the truck, as for these fools thinking they can get away with illegally parking, they better have access to Cash when all they had to do was pay to park

If I had no other resource than your videos, I would see a trend of people from other countries, most being Middle Easterners, that think they are entitled to some special treatment. In every instance they seem to try intimidation of some sort, even if it is passive. By that I mean telling you some hard luck story, so the gullible American will cut them a break. Apparently they do not watch Everything Autos on RUclips. If they did watch you, they would know you are an honest vendor providing a service upon request. It is too bad that the town council could not organize some sort of association where spots are registered and a citation issued alongside your recovery fee, for unauthorized parking. Then the parking cheaters could plead their case in front of an unsympathetic traffic court commissioner. That would make for some interesting RUclips TV, Gatlinburg Traffic Court. They could have the mysterious Parking-Squatch be the baliff..
I own a subaru, I bought it used because it was in good condition with relatively low mileage for the right price. I do not act like a spoiled, entitled brat.😂

Pigeon Forge and when I want to go into Gatlinburg I just take the trolley into Gatlinburg and don't have to worry about any parking

In the year 2000 as night auditor I called to have over 20+ cars towed from Clarion Inn and Suites! Hasn't changed a bit except now there are more places to pay to park! When I got into town... first thing on my to do list was get my parking tag! 😂

After watching your vlogs I became curious, and looked up parking fees, etc. Why on earth people try to skirt the parking fees at $12-$20 a day depending on season is beyond me! Better to pay the fee than a $300 tow! There's also 2 free city lots with about 300 spaces combined to park, but if not available, just pay the fee to park legally, UHG! 🤦♂😅👍😎✌🗽

The dude from Miami should know better because in Miami you have to pay to park everywhere on the street is 1 dollar an hour or if you pay for a parking garage it's 40 dollars for the whole week. I stayed down there for 3 weeks and the best way was renting the parking garage!

It's a RUclips and Tiktok privacy complaint issue. It's easier to physically cover them during filming than to get a privacy complaint and have to edit and blur them later.
They are in public. What my eyes see in public can be video in public.
People illegally parked may not be there with their usual partner. If they spot this on RUclips they can raise a privacy complaint. Easier to just cover/blur it. Particularly if they end up being abusive on the phone or in person. Yeah, not a lot of sense … :D

I’ve been to Gatlinburg nearly all my life every year in fall. We walk everywhere due to traffic.

it seems at though you tow "lots" of Florida tag cars. But many rental cars from all over have Florida tags. AND, I have been in Murphy and other NC tags....and it is amazing to me - 20 cars at a traffic light....15 with Florida tags. no joke. The NC mountains have been a destination for Florida flat-landers for all my lifetime.

Hi. I just found your channel and I like it. I’m in the automotive industry and these types of video interest me. I understand that those whose cars have been towed are in shock, but do people in Your city not know if Uber, Lyft or taxis cabs??? Here’s my suggestion: you folks should buy a mid size suv , hire a person to drive it, and offer a shuttle service from the tow site to your yard for a nominal fee! This way they pay you coming and going!
Not once in my adult life have I had a vehicle towed for being parked where it wasn't supposed to be, there's been a few reasons why I've been towed but never for illegal parking, the closest I've ever been was back in '86 when I rolled a top heavy tractor trailer which I pretty much walked away from if the steering wheel didn't pin me in the truck, as for these fools thinking they can get away with illegally parking, they better have access to Cash when all they had to do was pay to park
A 'customer' is paying you in the end, otherwise they are freeloaders. A lesson taught to me by my father who ran an auto repair shop.

If I didn’t watch this show regularly I would be slightly confused on the overflow sign with the arrow. It almost looks like it’s saying these three spots are part of overflow, the rest behind are not. But then since they are numbered in order on the ground, I wouldn’t risk it.

If I had no other resource than your videos, I would see a trend of people from other countries, most being Middle Easterners, that think they are entitled to some special treatment. In every instance they seem to try intimidation of some sort, even if it is passive. By that I mean telling you some hard luck story, so the gullible American will cut them a break. Apparently they do not watch Everything Autos on RUclips. If they did watch you, they would know you are an honest vendor providing a service upon request. It is too bad that the town council could not organize some sort of association where spots are registered and a citation issued alongside your recovery fee, for unauthorized parking. Then the parking cheaters could plead their case in front of an unsympathetic traffic court commissioner. That would make for some interesting RUclips TV, Gatlinburg Traffic Court. They could have the mysterious Parking-Squatch be the baliff..
