I love when Americans react to this song, "ah yeah it's a rhythim song, sounds cool" then Randy cames in
Wish they understood …
@@BlancTakito they can't even bother themselves to open google translate. That's how lazy they are.
Suddenly he asked: are they mexican? LOL
United Statesian, not americans
It’s always hellarious
This song was written by Randy due a bad experience with migration officers. They search for drugs on his wife and 1 of his daughters daipers. This angry Randy (the american on the group) that wrote this song and requested the Mexican citizenship.
Molotov is a very rebellious group who isn't afraid to speak about how corrupted the goberment is or racism or any other non PC topic. They are awesome
PS. All 4 members can play any instrument at any given time ( drums, guitar or base) its like watching musical chairs
FUN FACT, Randy's father was D.E.A agent (or still)
Fantastic explanation my friend … no one understands!
You need to drop to another dicen of vídeos comments
U forgot to.mention Randy is full white american not mexican american ..
Gracias! Era justo y necesario el contexto 🤩
Also fun fact: they are singing in an accent that YT Americans have if they tried to speak Spanish.
that’s the american accent, all english-speaking americans have it
@@hikerrock yes the YTs
@@panditaaa27 idk what that is
@@hikerrock YT, white-ey.
United Statesian not americans... 🤬🤬🤬
I really believe most of them honestly don´t know much about anything
In 2003 George W. Bush was president of the USA and in a speech he referred to Mexican immigrants as "frijoleros", a very derogatory term, and well, this was Molotov's response to that speech 😅
Dou you have a source for that?
@@JoseContreras-te1wt the Bush face in the video wasn't enough source?

The best thing about this song is that it is sung with the accent that gringos use when they speak Spanish XD
Frijolero it's a derogatory term for Mexicans. Molotov it's an awesome band. I learned a lot of Spanish vocabulary just from listening to them...not necessary good vocabulary but useful.
not for mexicans, for all latinos
Yes, and 5 years later, Molotov did a Pepsi commercial, and remember that Pepsi is ”all American way” even Pepsi uses yank flag colours
@@roberto-qy2ys
white blue and red is the most common flag colour combination in the world.
just off the top of my head i can name a few countries that use it:
france
england
usa
cuba
puerto rico
dominican republic
panama
chile
australia
i think haiti, but not 100% sure.
maybe it's not a good vocabulary.
however this is the vocabulary that is used every day.
Polish guy speaking Mexican Spanish, that would be fun to hear
First person that mentions something about the Santa Ana Part, finally! I feel that's like the punch line of the song lol
GIMME THA POWER is my favourite Molotov song.
When these guys feel the need to say something they use no filter.
One of the members of Molotov, the drummer Randy Ebright, who is in fact a "gringo" from Michigan, has had several bad experiences entering his own country with his family.
Randy has said that the US agents always go through their personal belongings at customs just because they see that his wife and daughter are latinas. It seems that a "white" guy with a "brown" family is something like a crime so they are separated and put into different lines, and then they're inspected and interrogated. Even his daughter, since the time she was a very, very young child has been inspected and interrogated by the US officials. This inspired Ebright and the rest of the band to write a song about mistreatment of immigrants in the United States. Immigrants, especially those coming from Latin American countries such as México and Venezuela, are mistreated and often turned away or even imprisoned.
The band came in to my restaurant, I’m the only white guy who recognize them, everyone was frozen! From then on I was king ! lol they were mad cool and my colleagues felt so much pride to be of service to these guys!
the most important part of this song is "dodging the bullets of a few gringos (American) ranchers" it's not against everyone it's against racists
They sing with an "American" accent making fun of gringos. It's a protest against racist people who shoot poor immigrants at the border. It's also a dialogue between what the American says and the "beaner's" response. On top of everything it's a history lesson.
US accent.
One of the greatest Molotov’s songs ever!
I really love American people reactions when they lisent it!
Some facts:
Gringo means “green go” in regards to the American solders uniform used during the USA invasion a wile ago.
Frijolero: Beaner
In Spain the LGTB associations tried to ban Molotov because of their song "Puto", even after the band gave an explanation about the meaning of the song (wich wasn't meant to be homophobic).
Spain and México or other spanish Speaking countries don't understand each other in many many occasions.
Even with the same lenguage, expresions and many words have complete different meanings.
Puto doesn’t mean gay in Mexico, puto is like dumbass or a dick or fucker
España is a joke
My family is Mexican, my mom and my dad loves Molotov and they actually met the band members in Texas, and my dad got a shirt signed by the lead singer and got a photo with them
take the best from the 2 sides, u have the change to be better
Exelente reacción!!! Molotov lo mejor de América !!! Saludos desde Argentina amigo!!!
Thank you for the comments I'm Mexican and I do understand their point of view from Molotov and I see your point of view and both are correct however I prefer the mutual respect Saludos a los mexicanos

¡Viva!
Molotov is a rebel band, who play many songs about politic situation living in Mexico, generaly, talk about politic, same the Rock in 80's whit Berlin. I have to say... I love the react of this guy
2:10 we heard the screeching in your voice. Woah Nelly!!!
Laughter is our best medicine 🇲🇽 and a bit of tequila brother, No worries, we've heard them all.
Randy, Molotov drummer's is actually from the USA but he decided to stay to live in Mexico.
He mentioned in an interview that he wrote this song because he got really mad at an immigration officer for giving a hard time to his little daughter for having an American passport.
Love your shirt! Yes, they are mexican the song speaks about the racism and xenofobia that latinos and in this case mostly mexicans suffer in the border. It has very powerful phrases speaking about all the hate and the prejudices that gringos (that is a way we mexicans call american ppl) have about mexicans and all the names they call us, the most important is the title of the song "Frijolero" thats means "Beaner". One of my favorite phrases is "Of the drugs we plant/sow you are consumers"
Great video! Fyi the guy pictured in the middle at 1:30 is supposed to be Vicente Fox, President of Mexico at the time.
This reminds me an old coworker of mine learned Spanish and because she was friends with the local minor league team she learned the Dominican dialect of Spanish. I tried to ask her if she could transfer for a patient one day. Well they were Mexican and she had no idea what she was saying except a slight vague understanding. If anyone read this there is no payoff, but appreciate it.
Yeah, we do speak very different spanish dialects, as Mexican I can tell you, even inside México we speak kind a different in North, Center and South, somethings change from State to State
There's this french youtuber who has lived and moved around latin america for a considerable amount of time that says she still can't fully understand mexican spanish so I don't think dominican dialect was to blame there. Just saying.
@@naemfield that´s on him tho, Mexican accent is the easiest to understand, why Dominican along with Chilean are the most difficult for fellow Spanish speakers. That´s why about 90% of dubbing for Latin America is done in Mexico. NOTE I´m not saying Mexican Spanish is the most popular, in fact because of the dubbing, I´ve heard from South Americans that we speak like cartoon characters and therefore they can´t take a Mexican seriously, much less find it sexy
@@IshavedChewbacca to be fair, she blamed the words and pace more than the accent. According to her, mexicans use a lot of made up words she can't find in the dictionary.
@@naemfield well, partly true, we do use a whole bunch of loan words from our Native languages, mainly Nahuatl and Maya. They're not made up tho
I was hoping living in Spain would have prepared you to react to this song… I was excited to see it on my recommendations
Yes, I'm going to be that person: your country's name is United States. America is the hole continent.
Please try the song with subtitles, it makes more sense. Also try other songs from Molotov (with subtitles of course). They are huge here in Mexico, very political.
U still dont get it
Exactly! and his name is United Statesian, because we are all Americans, America is a continent, not a silly country.
I loved your reactions, my dude.
This is a great song, glad you enjoyed it.
Oh shit! We doing Molotov now! Can't wait for these reactions!
"Leningrad - Voyage" is a great song to react to. The video for the song is probably one of the best you can have, it was done by famous director.
Lyrics and extra info
Im f***n done
that everyone put a hat on me. (stereotype for mexicans, using a hat like speedy gonzales character)
So listen when I say
"don't call me beaner". (beaner = very racist slur, mainly against illegal mexicans, but applied to all mexicans just because.)
And even if some respect exists
and we don't put our noses into things,
we never pretend to inflate the money value
by making war with other countries.
We pay you our debt
with interests and petroleum
while we don't know,
whose the one really getting rich?
Even if you gave us the reputation
for being distributors of the drugs we grow,
you are the consumers.
Don't call me gringo you f****g beaner,
stay on your side of that goddamn river
don't call me gringo, you beaner.(gringo is a nickname for americans, regardless their skin colour. Used by some latinos, mainly mexicans. Not a slur.)
Don't call me "beaner"
Mr. fucking pain-in-the-ass!
I will scare the sh*t out of you
for being racist and an asshole,
don't call me a "beaner"
fu***g gringo puñetero. (this bad word can be translated as motherf****)
Now I wish I had a dime
for every single time
I've gotten stared down
for being in the wrong side of town.
And a rich man I'd be
if I had that kind of chips,
lately I wanna smack the mouths
of these racists.
You might imagine yourself,
being a Mexican crossing the border,
thinking of your family while you cross,
leaving behind everything you know.
If you had to dig out the bullets
from a couple of gringo ranchers,
would you still say "good for nothing wetback?" (wetback, another very racist slur)
if you had to start from zero?
Now why don't you look down
to where your feet is planted,
that U.S. soil that makes you take shit for granted,
if not for Santa Ana, just to let you know,
that where your feet are planted would be Mexico.
correct!
(Santa Ana was a mexican president who was accused for signing and agreement to President Polk to grant (stole) California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming)
Don't call me gringo
you f****g beaner,
stay on your side
of that goddamn river
don't call me gringo
you beaner.

America is a CONTINENT.
Those of us who live here regardless of our country are Americans.
The gringos of the United States are United Statesian and Americans (like us), under the identity of a continent such as Europeans (Europe), Asians (Asia), Africans (Africa) and Oceanic (Oceania). SIMPLE AND EASY.

Also the dig bullets part is wrong, should be dodge and puñetero is more like fucker too ❤
Think of beans or 'frijoles' as a little bit the equivalent for cotton for your comunity, that's why 'beanner' is a derrogatory and really bad word for mexicans and honestly a lot of latin americans because, it's said to people that looks like 'mexicans' and to be honest, we know a lot of US citizens don't differentiate us.
I don't know if someone commented it but Frijolero means exactly "beaner". I recommend you watch "La Migra" (immigration police) from the band "Brujería", it has English subtitles 👍

As a Mexicano i love your reaction to this song, the black and brown relations got to be strong.
The song is not aimed at all the people of the United States Americans only is aimed at the racist people of the United States, I recommend that you watch the video subtitled in English
“In the country of America” BRO!!!!!! USA !!!
"Gimme the power" and "Hit me" next!

When listening to Molotov it wouldn't hurt to check out the lyrics & translations.
Gringo is not derogatory, that's how we call americans but it also works for any english speaking foreigner, specially the fair skinned light colored eyes type.

the one who sings the part in english is american but lives in mexico and is from the band
You should react to the uncensored version of Frijolero with English lyrics on the spanish part.
I love you reaction❤
Their other big songs are puto, yofo, gimme tha power, and Here we Kum.
This is the best reaction so far with diference in internet.
as a Mexican, this is so funny to watch

Your face reaction is priceless.
¿Ponemos al vato en contexto?
This song was wrote by a american guy named Randy Ebright who came to live in México because his father used to be a fed agent.
He married a mexican girl and once Randy and his family were discriminated by custom agentes who judged them just for being mexicanos. So he wrote a little present for USA
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Brooo my uncle had a cd of this group and when I first heard it I was like you wtf hahaha
Ironically, all americans that react to this song, are in shock for the chorus, and for how they call beaner and gringo eachother, but when they heard the part about santana selling part of our country, they just have no words, they dont even talk about it. 😂
2:04 JAJAJAJA 😆
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 he didn’t know what to say 💀 complete shock
React to Duende's "Respeto", it has a powerful message
Nice🔥
Randy is North American, and he was discriminated against. not exactly if his 3-year-old daughter in international crisis to usa, and that's why I write that song. tried to undress his daughter in immigration just because his wife is Mexican.
You're eyes blew up as soon as you heard that English verse it's all true
❤
Everybody gangsta until Randy comes in 😅
Just an informative comment: there is no country called “America”. It is a continent. All my love to you man ❤
Min 2:18 that was the best reaction.
Podrás imaginarte desde afuera,

It's hard to play this as a white guy. People look at me like, "Ok.....this guy likes calling Mexican people beaners so much he jams out to this song"
If you have to explain it, you probably shouldn't play it. I learned that the hard way 😂

The way you get uncomfortable with the English parts it's just hilarious, try to put subtitles on the rest on the song so you get more context about it. But please open your mind since you also could be on the receiving end of those derogatory terms.
This was hilarious 😂😂😂😂
