No doubt this was the final nail in the coffin for the Nihilistic views Mash had about mortal life and allowed her to confront Goetia. Also Ibaraki didn't exactly defect. Let it be known. This is the first time a lancer in a Fate anime wasn’t killed due to plot armour or being screwed over because their master was killed/manipulated.
Actually about that.....Enkidu manipulated by Tiamat then got skewered/betrayed by his own mother’s children...then he betrayed Tiamat Ana got manipulated by Merlin
MysticDragonWolf You mean Kingu, that’s not Enkidu fam, they weren’t manipulated at all. Considering Tiamat even in the anime acknowledges them at the end. also Ana made a contract with Merlin in order to slay Gorgan, they go a bit more detail into it in the game’s interviews with Natsu.
Tomoe is more rational since this Ushi was before Yoshinaka betrayal, and Ushi also betrayed by her brother Yoritomo. Yoritomo is the "bad guy" for both of them anyway, plus Tomoe must think that prevent human incineration outweigh her own grudge.
Speaking of Babylonia, In Saber wars 2, they bring an interesting point, Ishtar became known as Astarte later on, which then was warped into Astaroth, one of the demon pillars, this showcases how Gods/divine spirits can be warped because of the human imagination in the Nasu verse
most early polytheistic religion's god is neither good or evil they simply a force of nature/ an aspect of power. Demonization come when christianity/islam label those early god as demon to stop people worshiping them. The word demon itself come from daemon which simply mean spirit
I can chalk up the whole him summoning himself as a backup to the fact this man can in fact see the future, it just depends on what future he likes seeing that he acts on it. No doubt his archer self having the ego to rival tiamat's size, and bigger, would have him saying piss off to himself and leaving until shit truly hit the fan.
well the problem with FGO's Plot Armor is that the heroes have unknown PA Guda immune to Poison likely because Nasu realized too late that Assassin use poison meanwhile Gorgon Tiamat and Even Geotia PA is properly explained and we know how it works, Plot Armor for convenience sake is bad writing four years in and Gudao poison protection is still secret likely containing a disappointment aspect

Gilgamesh's dialogue before his final Enuma Elish telling Tiamat how they do still love her and that they (humans) have now matured enough to separate from their mother as children should (Hence the beautiful name of the chapter "Childhood's End") It was enjoyable and well done nonetheless. Anyway, stay safe Dai
don't forget Ishtar confessing to an oblivious Gilgamesh before shooting her Noble Phantasm, as he misinterprets her Confession into concern for his relationship with Enkidu(because in this singularity, Ishtar was influenced by Rin's personality, attitude, emotions, and romantic desires greatly, which translates to her wanting to at least confess to Gilgamesh before she finally can move on)
16:35 = Gil's Ibaraki Douji is still alive throughout the Babylonia singularity and survives for a time after. Her fate is the subject of Sakata Kintoki's second interlude. Becoming despondent from loneliness on Mt Ebih, she provided shelter to refugees (who probably settled in the rebuilt Uruk seen in Ibaraki Douji's Interlude) as well as the last few demonic beasts. Sadly, her existence prevents history from repairing itself and Chaldea (you, Sakata Kintoki, Fuuma Kotarou and Shuten Douji) is forced to slay her = ruclips.net/video/lFJ6dJ9XAeE/видео.html

Loved every minute of this season. In my personal opinion, they definitely did this singularity justice. Definitely looking forward to the Sixth singularity movie, and was beside myself with excitement seeing they intend to air the final Temple of Time singularity in the final episode of Babylonia...
It's explained Gil used his mortal death as the catalyst to summon himself back from the past in archer form (sub: "I just made a small impossibility happen"). There's the comment how he didn't have a physical body anymore when they go to visit him in the throne room, then how it'd be unfortunate for visitors not to have been able to see the King of Heroes (in game Caster!Gil now also being referred to as "The Wise King of Uruk"). The FGO game makes it clearer with Gilgamesh disappearing at their goodbyes. One of my biggest questions is with Gilgamesh's flashback to his convo with Enkidu, why didn't they let Gil complete the "Listen here, Enkidu...That is a...". Reference being Gilgamesh's 2nd secret garden in Fate/ExtraCCC it's supposed to be "friend".
I completely forgot to tell this fun fact: in one of Kintoki's (Berserker) Interlude, Ibaraki actually survived the entire events of Babylonia and is the very reason that we have to go back to a "restored" Babylonia in order to actually restore what remains of Babylonia. We, the player, would be shocked by this "Mt. Oei" because most of the "Statues" around it resemble the Oni which should resemble her, the Douji Oni, and Shuten, and we are to face off Gil's Ibaraki soon. This Ibaraki is not an enemy nor an ally to Humanity as she sheltered survivors from every Mesopotamian City, including Sumerian Monsters under her command. This Ibaraki was so neutral that she was ignored by everyone else.
After finishing watching the Fate Babylonia anime(likely my most favorite in the Fate series and i taken interest in Ancient Mesopotamia ) ,i REALLY enjoyed this video as it did cover everything within the Babylonia Singularity . Bruh , you really did a fantastic job explaining this Singularity from beginning to end !! 🤣👍👍 Uruk is likely my favorite ancient city !
I had never seen a Beast of Calamity until Babylonia, and I was holding my breath the entire time. I knew plot armour would keep the mains alive, but Tiamat's raw power truly made it seem hopeless to repair the singularity.
we've gotta admit Quetzalcoalt's NP is such godlike in the anime with the addition of Ushi vs Benkei making it more impactful. i'm looking forward to Camelot Movie. I also hope Final Singularity, the Temple of Time (was it?) got its anime too.
You should've probably talked a bit more about Tiamat's dialogue with Ritsuka. It's probably the peak of this arc because it tells us that there is more to Beasts than just evil. Focus less on the unimportant action and more on the important concepts being shown. Also you need to learn the difference between "asspull" and "plot armor". One could argue that a "Deus ex Machina" fits perfectly into a singularity that's set in the age of gods.
Wasn't sure about this anime at first but like a lot of Fate adaptations it picks up a lot in the last half of the series. Can't stand to see Ushi corrupted. But she says it feels like liberation to her so I guess I'm good with it in the end.
All the deaths throughout Fate/Grand Order is probably and or possibly way more than all the previous Nasuverse deaths combined. Edit: best scene ever Merlin getting what he deserves. My memories of the sheep it must have been too brutal to be shown on screen only mentioned.
2:54 so if this beautiful goddess just moved her arms...I would be gifted a beautiful sight?.. 9:31 ...yes, beautiful rin body. I apologize to all who see me as just a basic animal but I find these to be beautiful images 15:30 ushi is amazing as well
16:05 Leonidas didn't buy them time for pushback, Persians literally got all way to Athens and burned it down. Later though, Greek army won the naval battle of Salamis and THAT made Xerxes retreat. Also it wasn't just 300 people bu 300 Spartans... each of whom had 3 subordinates, and thousands of people from other cities that stayed, totaling anywhere from 4-7 thousands total. They lost pretty badly and its Herodotus who made them legendary, ironically a plot device Fate used for Benkei.
According to Nasu, Ibaraki basically fucked off on her own and had a whole (off screen) story arc involving the resurrected Humbaba. And in the game proper, she appears to have recruited a handful of human bandits to keep the party going in the nearby mountains until either Ritsuka defeats her or she fades away on her own. So you could say that, in her own way, she did her part in preserving the human order.
Her story is fleshed out in Sakata Kintoki's 2nd Interlude. She dies post-Singularity, slain by Ritsuka, Sakata Kintoki, Fuuma Kotarou and Shuten Douji, as her continued existence is a threat to history.
I have understood by now that after first getting into the Fate series via Fate Kelied Prisma Ilia that unless if you have played the original Fate Stay Night game or if you have played the Smart Phone game Fate Grand Order, most of this would be easily confusing. But thanks to Ishtar(Rin) fan service, the series is still entertaining as well as a wonderful history lesson. I still rely on DVD/Blue Ray releases for the series but at least after so many years I understand that if there is something I don't know the entire story of, I just roll with it.
If Grand Servants were selected for the express purpose of fighting Beasts, why was First Hassan forced to give up his role as Grand Assassin in order to fight Tiamat, even though Tiamat is a Beast.
Two admittedly very odd things I feel like comparing Tiamat to... In this scenario, the Dark Gundam. But for a potential future instance in which she goes good guy...Ecco the Dolphin. 😝
Are you working on Solomon now or waiting for its anime as well? Anyway, MASSIVE SPOILER question regarding Mash. Considering her contribution throughout all of Part 1 and especially in Solomon, has she been recorded in the Throne of Heroes or its not possible for her due to... reasons.
Hey daikun! do you think that you will cover the lostbelt series as well? I have looked for story summaries online, but there were none. and the only thing i could find were individual scene translation, or the wiki. However, I just want a comprehensive summary of each lostbelt instead of a wiki page about individual segments of the lostbelts or scene translations.
I think the reason Archer Gil couldn't be summoned was because Caster Gil was alive. Likely only one Gilgamesh can exist in a single place at any time. So Archer and Caster can't be there since Archer was the caster ones past self. Unlike Medusa who was split in two, one as Ana and the other as Gorgon.
I don't mind if that were the case, but the explanation is just so cheap. Technically, a real explanation isn't given in the anime. Da Vinci is all "was he able to do that through sheer willpower" and Gilga later basically says "oh that, don't think too hard about it."
this is probably a bit late, but how is the seraph considered part of EoR? i skipped EoR (except Shinjuku) so i can play the recent events that required completing LB3 and, now that the current event isn't too time consuming, have just resumed playing both Agartha and Shimousa while waiting for LB4 release. I'd really appreciate it if you or anyone else can elaborate how Seraph is part of EoR
hello, I'm unfortunately more or less new to your channel and I wanted to ask if you would like to summarize the "pseudo sigulariteten" (Shinjuku, Agartha, Shimousa & Salem). we should wait for the "camelot movie" and many thanks for the very good summary
Do you plan on doing the Epic of Remnant series? The story of the four 'Pseudo-Singularities' that takes place in-between the original seven and the Lostbelts, which have just got the first Lostbelt got put into the English version of the game. Any plans on that? Just curious. Later and best wishes.
That's good to know. It would be interesting on how you do Shinjuku, the Fate/Extra crossover, and the other two. Musashi appears in one of them and the first Lostbelt in which you did 'Servant Lore' on her if I remember correctly? Can't wait to see those Grand Order lore. Later and best wishes.
Right... so the Gilgamesh that gives them the Grail back in Uruk is just an illusion, I take it? I love this series, but you gotta admit that this was a pretty big asspull.
Ushiwakamaru is totally aware that this Lancer is a fake Benkei. She... isn't very nice to him sometimes, as a result. I think there may have been, after all, a real Benkei that Kaison is impersonating.
I swear everytime I watch Fate/Grand Order Babylonia lore video you guys change some of the information about the lore, now i dont know what to believe is apart of the true lore smh.
Um... the Archer Gil there at the rnd, *ISN'T* the Servant Gil though. It's still Babylonia's Gil, just class shifted. He straight up said as much. That's also why the form you see him in is still different from Servant Gil. It is a case of plot armor, but it's not any more ridiculous than a guy like Ritsuka *REPEATEDLY* ending apocalyptic events one after another, defeating multiple Beasts of Himanity, being the multiverse's best Mastet.... because he's utterly average and a nice guy, dukes it out with Gods, destroyed whole (false) universes.... and all while never getting anyvstronger. You want plot armor? Ritsuka is plot armor personified! Dood even gets in the way of the Counter Force.... by doing a better job of protecting Human Order than it does, and that's literally the whole point of its existence. Honestly, everything about F/GO is utterly absurd.... but in a good way. I mean, Chaldea's FATE summoning system alone is utterly briken, since it can let things be summoned that literally... should never be possible. Like Lily Alter ....Or Beast III. Let's be real. F/GO 'without' some level of plot armor isn't just unavoidable, but makes no sense with the sheer level of cosmic, multiversal absurdity unmatched in all the nasuverse to converge in a world that shares the most commonality with Fate/Ap9crypha's world... but still had its own 5th Grail War. But... that massive absurdity (on top of the waifus) is *WHY* F/GO works.
@@OtakuDaiKun Alright then, I'll be waiting. What about events though? Only started recently so I've missed quite a bit. But I guess much of the humor won't translate well to your videos and the view count might not be worth the effort.

I apologize to all who see me as just a basic animal but I find these to be beautiful images
15:30 ushi is amazing as well
i really love how this guy speak.
TBoneTony I don’t think there’s anything in Babylonia that references the Visual Novel but isn’t included in any of the Stay Night anime.
I really needed that lore
did anyone notice how hassan i sabbah impartrd the lines of death on tiamat
If Grand Servants were selected for the express purpose of fighting Beasts, why was First Hassan forced to give up his role as Grand Assassin in order to fight Tiamat, even though Tiamat is a Beast.
It's really dumb, but he did it to help Chaldea, which is apparently a no no.
I'm actually surprised that Fou was very useful to help Ritsuka during Tiamat's battle...
Be sure to check out the videos I have on individual servants.

Jaguarman - COMING SOON
Two admittedly very odd things I feel like comparing Tiamat to... In this scenario, the Dark Gundam. But for a potential future instance in which she goes good guy...Ecco the Dolphin. 😝
finally it all makes sense now
I like how the anime skipped over a few nsfw stuff to prevent angry bans
Gilgamesh King of Mongrels there were nsfw parts? Explains pls ( I haven’t played fgo )
Gilgamesh King of Mongrels They did? How so?
Im trying to remember the NSFW stuff in Babylon....
There was ??
@@OtakuDaiKun I mean the oblivious part that Merlin visited the Brothel for example
Can't wait for the Solomon singularity season
If he summoned them once already, couldn't Gilgamesh simply resummon Leonidas and the other killed Servants right back again after Gorgon left?
That's a good question that I sadly don't have an answer for. I've wondered that myself.
Megumin chose Explosion magic because she though that would give her big boobs. Megumin chose poorly, Rhongomyniad was the correct choice.
Are you working on Solomon now or waiting for its anime as well?
Anyway, MASSIVE SPOILER question regarding Mash.
Considering her contribution throughout all of Part 1 and especially in Solomon, has she been recorded in the Throne of Heroes or its not possible for her due to... reasons.
25:05 MOLON LABE!
Hey daikun! do you think that you will cover the lostbelt series as well? I have looked for story summaries online, but there were none. and the only thing i could find were individual scene translation, or the wiki. However, I just want a comprehensive summary of each lostbelt instead of a wiki page about individual segments of the lostbelts or scene translations.
Pbs kidz at 12 I do plan on it^^
Guggalana guggalana guggalana guggalana guggalana.
I love when she punched Jaguar. Couldn’t believe that.
Watched Babylonia. Got cliffhangered again. Dai to the rescue.
You might be able to find the Solomon movie which follows right after Babylonia.
Here's a toast to Nasu crawling up his own ass and pulling out the most outrageous Deus ex machina
Ye it is one of those times they do hand wave us away.
But I never thought I'd say this but i was glad to see Gilgamesh in that fight.
Rin/ Ishtar it's hot! Rin/blonde Ereshkigal(can't pronounce to save my life) is hot!!! Medusa that's hot! Tiamat is hot!!! I love Fate!
All fate characters are hot except shinji
@@crimsoncypher8017 😆
This is the best singularity
I'd give Ushi all the headpats she wants
Imagine, Shiki Ryougi the Master. King Hassan the Servant.
just a shame that Benkei didnt got his animated NP on the anime and Jagarman didnt join the final fight.
Ibaraki never defected to the enemy side she lived and formed some piratey group in the mountains.
tiamat: exists
humanity and her children: such an evil being that shall be destryed and isolated!
The background music at around 3:00 what's the name?
Question, will you do the "Epic of Remnant"? I.E X - Shinjuku, XI - SE.RA.PH, XII - Agartha, XIII - Shimousa, and XIV - Salem.
this is probably a bit late, but how is the seraph considered part of EoR? i skipped EoR (except Shinjuku) so i can play the recent events that required completing LB3 and, now that the current event isn't too time consuming, have just resumed playing both Agartha and Shimousa while waiting for LB4 release. I'd really appreciate it if you or anyone else can elaborate how Seraph is part of EoR
No one:
Gil: Mongrel go buy me a Goddess
im convinced my namesake used to be Grand Assassin if not the current one.
hello, I'm unfortunately more or less new to your channel and I wanted to ask if you would like to summarize the "pseudo sigulariteten" (Shinjuku, Agartha, Shimousa & Salem). we should wait for the "camelot movie"
and many thanks for the very good summary
Gods technically can be servants.
Though they would have needed to die before degrading to Divine Spirits.
I do plan to cover those.
Gilgamesh couldn't summon himself if he was still alive, stop calling it asspull or plotarmor when you dont understand the explanation.
Right... so the Gilgamesh that gives them the Grail back in Uruk is just an illusion, I take it? I love this series, but you gotta admit that this was a pretty big asspull.
Ushiwakamaru is totally aware that this Lancer is a fake Benkei. She... isn't very nice to him sometimes, as a result. I think there may have been, after all, a real Benkei that Kaison is impersonating.
So what your saying is… there was an actual Jaguar man legend
Yes.
I wonder whose body did Quetzalcoatl posess...
I swear everytime I watch Fate/Grand Order Babylonia lore video you guys change some of the information about the lore, now i dont know what to believe is apart of the true lore smh.
Pluvio_ phile45 Id be more than happy to clarify anything specific.
I wonder what would of happened if Emiya Archer appeared here tbh.
Also I am surprise Saber Artoria hasnt been important in any singularity tbh
Um... the Archer Gil there at the rnd, *ISN'T* the Servant Gil though.
Do we know the prerequisites for Grand Class? I mean we have Grand Casters with their Clairvoyance EX but what about the others?
I’ve heard a lot of speculation that Merlin was a candidate for grand but nowhere have I seen a confirmation.
If you're waiting on Camelot and possibly Solomon anime, how about Lore'ing the EoR singularities? Though I guess they have ongoing manga...
I plan on it after some more servant lores.
@@OtakuDaiKun Alright then, I'll be waiting.
What about events though? Only started recently so I've missed quite a bit. But I guess much of the humor won't translate well to your videos and the view count might not be worth the effort.
MarbleThunder Most of the events are just way too ridiculous for me to take seriously.
where can i watch all the episodes of these anime,..in an instant i love it
elmo paras Of Babylonia? I believe they’re all on Crunchyroll now.
@@OtakuDaiKun nice....thnx man
