I find decrying the Catachans as "not making sense in 40K" mystifying. _Every_ part of 40K is incongruous nonsense. That's what makes it awesome. 40K started as 50% anti-Thatcher satire, and 50% references to 80s popular culture. Including Terminator, Starship Troopers, Dune, and Rambo/Predator.

Nice work mate, they turned out great. Have to disagree about the Catachan though... I think we see too much city, facility and barren world fighting these days and forget that the 40K universe is filled with jungle, desert and ice planets as well. Back in the days White Dwarf battle reports did a great job of showcasing this. It's also why we had the awesome Valhalla and Tallarn sets (as you probably know). Wish they'd bring those back...
Those old White Dwarf 40K battle reports all seemed to take place on the same lush jungle planet with the giant alien polystyrene-and-cocktail-stick cacti
I quite like the sillier and generally over the top aspects of the Imperial Guard, along with most such things in 40K, because it gives the setting some much needed levity. That's why I think I might paint some Guardsmen, along with Ratlings and Ogryn in bright heroic colours, to make them look like they're from a propaganda cartoon. :)
The Catachan jungle fighters totally make sense. The galaxy is a massive place so you end up with every flavor of humanity possible. The guard are probably the most diverse army when it comes to the variety and styles since every planet is different (aside from the fact that lots of planets use cadian pattern gear, but thats eh) Fix your audio balancing btw, my left ear is enjoying the vide, but not my right
I don't think he means it doesn't make sense they exist on some God forsaken jungle planet somewhere. It even makes sense they would be recruited to serve in the Militarum for being fierce warriors shaped by their environment It doesn't make sense that it's apparently a whole regiment of John Ramboes, complete with wife beaters and head bands, each clenching a sword-sized knife in their teeth.
I have so many ogryn and ratling minis. They're proxies so I got them WAY cheaper than the GW ones, but having a wide variety of "abhumans" in my army is what drew me to guard to begin with. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Not only are different models like the various tanks and abhuman auxiliaries, but the Imperial Guard has so much 3rd party support. A simple army wide head swap can turn your “Cadian” army into something unique and personal.
Great video and tutorial. We all see some professional painting tutorials of level that some may never achieve, so it's nice to see great quality content for regular gamers. You are doing a great job and improving yourself as a painter and content creator with each new video released. Thank you! oh, and "Mastodon" t-shirt. great taste for music also adds credit ;)
Old early and late 2000 white dwarfs had some fantastic grim dark Guard models. One of my favourite was a conversion piece where they converted their guard to look like they were morphing into nids.
Catachans are deathworlders, basically Rambo’s that migrated to a terrible world that 150% wants to kill them, they are badass and one of my favorite if not my favorite regiment, good painting!
@@eBayMiniatureRescues also to mention the reason they're all muscular is that the gravity on Catachan is much more intense than other planets. There's also a lot of traditions and cultural aspects to the Catachans that explain why, for example, they wear red bandanas and long knives. Highly recommended the novel "Deathworld" for a taste of the Catachan ways.
Just because you mentioned it a few times, I have to tell you, that in fact, that is a Astra Militarum Start Collecting box plus a Sentinel and Colonel Iron Hand.
Oh I know that this is pretty much a start collecting box, but that's kind of the point too, this is what they sell, when in fact, there are really cool models that don't show or put in those boxes.
Your a great painter man I’d really like to see you start taking your time and showing your skill again. Everything seems to be let’s do this as fast as possible now.
I really do appreciate that, thank you. I'd love to be able to take more time, as it is I only get to hobby 2 days a week so I'm just trying to keep up! Soon, when the new(ish) baby is old enough, I'll be back to more or less normal and take more time per model. As it happens, the next video I'm working on is actually a single mini that's going on a display base, so I'm trying to take my time as much as I can on that one :)
Which definitely makes sense to keep it grounded in some sort of reality, but then again this is sci fi in the year 40,000 so I kinda feel like we are passed the point of needing something to relate to. BUT, that's just me, and I can understand why they are part of the universe for sure.
@@eBayMiniatureRescues at its heart 40k is a parody of Sci fi dystopias and parody is alot like caricature its a distorted mirror of the real world but there still has to be something recognisable in there, everything about 40k is a joke even "grim dark" as a tagline is poking fun at Sci fi tropes because its two adjectives that are synonyms slapped together not because it makes any sense but because it sounds over the top. 40k is a fun game with a deliberately silly concept and what is more ridiculous than a bunch of normal dudes bayonet charging a swarm of alien bugs?
This is why I like Kill Team. Maximum roster size is 20 men so I have made 6 different teams because I can dabble into all kinds of armies that I always wanted to try my hand at painting but never wanted to spend the amount a full army would cost. I have 3 Marine teams (Compendium Deathwatch 30k loyalists from Isstvan III in Mark III armour, Compendium Chaos Marines (Alpha Legion) and Cultists (Escher ganger models), Chaos Legionaries (Word Bearers), Tyarnids, Compendium Tau and Pathfinders The six of them gave me reason to 1: Build Mark III Marines from Isstvan III like I had knocking in my brain since 2007 2: Build Escher gangers and Test the new Contrast over metal paint scheme for Alpha Legion 3: Paint Word bearers 4: Finally get some paint on my Space Hulk game genestealers and Finally get some tyranids (gaunts/gants and warriors) which were almost my first army when I started 40k Also Test glow in the dark pigment as I had wanted to try that on a model for some time 5: Buy back a small amouunt into Tau which were my first 40k army circa 2003 which got sold in 2010 when I wasn't using them and needed the money more than the models. But the true Impetus for all 6 projects was my wife who always wanted to try painting some Sisters so she got her team of sisters. She has 6 teams as well 1: Compendium Sisters, Paint Sisters 2: Novitiates, Paint more sisters 3: Compendium Eldar, Always also wanted to paint some space elves 4: Voidscared Corsairs, More Eldar 5: Warpcoven Wanted to paint Thousand sons and wanted to have a chaos force 6: Custodes, Wanted to kitbash Stormcast so she could paint stormcast but have a use for them as we don't play AOS or any of its related games but she loved stormcast.
Big fan of the Guard. I’ve always played and painted them since the early 2000’s. If you you look you can find some awesome models. It was awesome to get your take on a paint job for them. Keep up the great work. As a side note, I prefer to keep their weapons clean, maybe some paint chipped but that’s it. That was the way we kept our weapons when I served the Marine Corps.
From a real world marine corps perspective that makes a lot of sense, which is why I can appreciate this army as a kind of transition type of thing from historical Wargaming. I just like mixing things up a little bit for my armies :)
@@eBayMiniatureRescues that is the great thing about this hobby is you can add all the fun twists you want and I really enjoy seeing your rescues. Your channel has definitely showed me not to be afraid to try new techniques that otherwise I would’ve of thought of trying.
Fun fact, i won state champion by modeling my entire cadian army prone and because it was true Los in that edition it gave me a distinct advantage. Power gaming got to power game (I am reformed these days)
Hey, I’m a guard player! Just a recommendation, since you’re a fan of weathering. Take a sharp knife and a 1mm drill bit and go around the model digging divots and drilling holes into the armor. This actually has canon legitimacy. Most armor used by guardsmen is a hand-me-down from another (usually deceased) guardsman. So you can have a bit of fun imagining the many battles that the armor has been in, and the many different guardsmen who’ve worn it. Also, all the people in the comment section complaining about you decrying the catachan jungle fighters, I’m just wondering why that commissar hasn’t killed those guardsmen. Allowing your lasgun to rust is punishable by pain of death.
I like your treatment on this mini army. I think it works best on the tank. The smaller troops start to look a bit 'powdery' on camera with the metal chipping around all the edges. The idea of a mini-mini army is inspiring. I can never get myself to paint a whole army. I do like painting characters and small units.
For the more "militairy" themed projects I personally like to take a look at the colors that were used in WWI & WW2, from infantry, pilots, tankers, marines, etc... There are also a lot of interesting camo scheme's from that time period. Keep on rescuing!!
This video hit on many levels for me. Firstly, the same day I watched it, my buddy took his 1st look through the IG arsenal. And got confused by the Rattlings and Ogrins just as much as our man here. I like the point where you mentioned the fact that IG can be good transition to or in my case from historicals. (Cadians were my first WH kit cuz WW1 brits in SPAIS!) And I really like that you saw beiond the surface of IG as an faction. I personally accumulated only few tanks and vehicles, focusing on inf squad manspam and specialist inf for instance.
awesome paint job! and "creating your own starter box" idea.. but dude the Jungle Fighters are awesome! growing up on a literal death world and its survival or death for them! their officers are on the frontline fighting with them and not sitting back giving orders. Catachan are one of my fave armies.. but youre entitled to your opinion! much love still!!!
Ah nice. I started with the start collecting box in 2020. My imperial soldiers are darker than the boxart as well as I also think that suggestion of color is somewhat to bright... Mine have death guard green armor, Deathkorps darb clothing and the parts of the lasgun that are "originally " green were painted corax black but got metal dry rushing making it look like very very dark gunmetal. My recently acquired Deathkorps Killteam (not fully built yet) are similar. Grey helmet, Deathkorps darb coats, rifles that look like they have wooden parts... Only one who got a pretty similar color scheme to the official stuff although not an exact copy. I am actually thinking about upgrading the bases by another layer of wash and a abbadon black rim as my first approach was corvus black for the rim. (hadn't bought the other black at the time).
This video is why learning the lore is important. I heard the story of the Mordant acid dogs by Leutin and had never been more interested in the imperial guard. The variations in units based on the planet, or the types of units employed by them. They're also a more relateable force than space marines for example. They're not just army dudes, and the Catachan are more interesting than simple Rambo ripoffs who DO have their place in the 40k scene.
Lol, unfortunately it was a mistake, but yes there are a lot of extra comments because of it. Luckily it’s not glued down so I just swiveled it back around and it’s all good!
This was a fun video, and I think your end results turned out quite nice, but in a way that even someone who feels that level is beyond them might be able to try and emulate. Personally, I've always been a fan of Guard. On the one hand, Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum line has always had the bonus and bane of multiple literal lines; Space Marines are Space Marines, except for color scheme, but Cadians, Catachan, Vostroyans, and Kriegers are each different whole lines of models, and some have proven lacking in certain options without heavy kit-bashing, but then Cadians are still Cadians, regardless of color scheme, so if you have a specific color set you like, you can easily do it, and you still have your army. If you like Imperial Fists, I hope you are a fan of yellow power armor, because if you paint them blue, they really aren't IF, even if they are still some Sons of Dorn. While things like Space Marines are easier to get the models, that makes the colors seemingly more important to their identity (opinion), where as Guard can, once you pick your regiment line, be really any colors you prefer; black and white, green and khaki camo, blue with black flak, or whatever. I've never actually tackled it, but the options for scheme within Guard, once you know which regiment suits you best, is one of my favorite things about it.
Nice to see imperial guard get some love. I agree that most of what you see of this force is not the most interesting stuff. Heaps of great lost subfactions and wild models lurking beneath
I like how he says that its good to buy second hand to not be locked to the boundaries of a start collecting box but he is literally painting a start collecting box + a sentinel.
These models were a vehicle for the message to look deeper. I did buy more models, and I definitely plan on buying and painting more from this range that aren't shown in the standard start collecting box.
It's been a while since I did a dedicated video on oils. I use them quite often too. Sometimes I gloss varnish if I want to minimize staining, but generally, I go on right over the paint and then matte varnish after.
I think the reason why most people don’t go too dark with their paint schemes is that there’s comes a point where the details get muddled when you’re looking at them from a distance on the the table top. Not to an extreme degree, but my brain always processes things faster when it’s clearer and brighter .
While the Catachans have an 80s action movie aesthetic to them, they do come from a mini-genre of 70s SF, the deathworld. These were incredibly dangerous planets, kind of like Australia on steroids, and some other weird stuff.
Hey casey. Another good video. I haven't scrolled through your older videos, but have you done a video on your ultra sonic cleaner and what to avoid doing when stripping models?
When you said this is different from a start collecting box, it made me wince. The leman russ, infantry squad, and commissar is the start collecting box. Only Straken and the Sentinel are not in the start collecting box.
18:17 Oh man I've never seen these models before and had to go look em up... Bullgryns are pretty cool. Chaos bullgryns would be absolutely rad as hell. Along with some chaos charonites and you got yourself an absolute banger of a traitor army.
I love the Imperial Guard! Personally I play Vostroyan IG. Though, I originally wanted who units of Guardsman from multiple regiments, which was not the best idea for painting/consistency but was cool as hell!
I bought the newest Killteam starter, or I guess the one that started the new killteam. I like it, and the fact that warbands are fun to build and play. I plan on using these models for it for sure. I also enjoy building and painting armies and even my killteams are usually part of a larger 2000 point force.
I use LA's Totally Awesome in the sonic cleaner, very nice and inexpensive! The turret is not glued, it swivels and can come off. I posted a picture in the community section of the youtube channel about it :)
I made a bone headed error and tried to use a Magic Sponge which didn't work as planned lol .... I know I should have known better to start with but have been tired and was wanting to get some painting done and it was what I had handy at the time.
The Imperial Guard are almost entirely history at this point. The 11 different model ranges for the various regiments have been reduced down to 4. I find the plastic Cadians to be the most boring, but I guess it makes the abhumans look even more interesting.
Do not feel limited to one regiment of Imperial Guard. It is normal for regiments that fall below minimum strength to be combined with other such regiments. My 501st Amalgamated has Cadians (Infantry and Hellhounds), Mordians (Mechanized Infantry and Armor) and Squats (Infantry and Artillery). I will probably add some Krieg and Kasrkins at some point.
I bought some silly putty at Dollar Tree to use as a mask, but it doesn’t seem to stick well to the model. Sometimes is actually falls off. So I’ve gone back to poster tac. Did I get bad silly putty?
interesting, I've used dollar tree silly putty plenty of times, could be it's just old? In my experience, silly putty does need to be pushed onto the model to make it stick well enough, still, you might have gotten a bad egg :(
Unfortunately I made a mistake in editing the audio. Definitely not meant to be one sided. Sucks because I can’t go back to fit it now that it’s up..it’s an easier listen through a tv or speakers, headphones though it’s jarring for sure. Thanks for letting me know :)
I thought about it but in the end I wanted to have the experience of doing them mostly normal and adding some fun twists of my own. I probably won’t be painting anymore of these models again because I would rather get the other models in the range.
I've been really wanting to try out more armies in WH40k but the cost of codexes and models has kept me from exploring much. I'm going to take your micro army idea and give it a go, and get some orcs and necrons, and maybe beg/borrow a codex to try them out in a small game.
Wahapedia and battlescribe together should be able to give you all the rules to experiment with a small army. You won't be using the full range of models so usually you don't need the full codex. I have a few 500 pt armies left over from when I was a kid that I pull out for a combat patrol from time to time and that usually works for them
It's nice to see you also agree with using a black base coat for silver! I can't get anything resembling a good silver color over anything other than a black base coat, I've consistently found; the contrast just isn't there.
Had quite the success with old adeptus battlegrey and highlights with pale sand, added a sponging of boltgun metal. Alternatively, just straight chainmail with badab black works fine as well
I have models from basically every imperial faction except Space Marines. I've got Guard, Admech, SoB, Custodes, Assassins, Inquisition. Guard are my main, I personally found Space Marines to be boring poster boys.
@ eBay Miniature Rescues I was wondering have you ever given any thought to what type of figures would make a chess set from the figures you have? I am looking for ideas.
I love the guard as the most tragic figures in 40k. They're ground meat that don't even know they're in the meat grinder, a nearly infinite army of cannon fodder who believe that they're holy warriors, fighting for the most horrific regime in history. They're equally brilliant as tragic heroes, comedically ignorant fools and fascist jackbooted villains. Love me the Guard.
That rust paint is reactivated by water, I've only used the moss one but, try going over it again with a damp brush and you might get an even better effect.

Those old White Dwarf 40K battle reports all seemed to take place on the same lush jungle planet with the giant alien polystyrene-and-cocktail-stick cacti
@@therealoball haha yeah, depends how far back you go. The terrain shown in the 3rd Ed Catachan book is quite nice for the time.
That's a sick colour scheme thanks for sharing, always appreciate it.
But … why the reversed turret ? Or reverse the sponson toi?
Didn't even realize, but it's not glued down and it is currently faced the proper direction :)
As a guard player this is the best video for me. It ignited my drive to paint. Gave me so must time reducing tactics! I absolutely loved it. Thanks
I bought a box of ten and have six left to build and paint, I dont play but I do like the painting, love this video.
finally some imperial guard! love the channel
The guard are probably the most diverse army when it comes to the variety and styles since every planet is different (aside from the fact that lots of planets use cadian pattern gear, but thats eh)
Fix your audio balancing btw, my left ear is enjoying the vide, but not my right
I don't think he means it doesn't make sense they exist on some God forsaken jungle planet somewhere. It even makes sense they would be recruited to serve in the Militarum for being fierce warriors shaped by their environment
It doesn't make sense that it's apparently a whole regiment of John Ramboes, complete with wife beaters and head bands, each clenching a sword-sized knife in their teeth.
Great job man!! You are right the astra militarum has some weird units! Fantastic job with the cadians!
Catachans are deathworlders, basically Rambo’s that migrated to a terrible world that 150% wants to kill them, they are badass and one of my favorite if not my favorite regiment, good painting!
That makes them definitely a little cooler, I haven't looked into any lore so this is much appreciated!
@@eBayMiniatureRescues awesome man I look forward to watching p.s love your content 🥰
The guard are amazing they are the grounding human element in a crazy Sci fi universe full of horrific monsters and giant power armoured warriors.
You've always made fantastic projects, but this one right here might be one of my favorites. The tank looked especially great!
the weathering effects are so damn good, all these models fit together on that red dusty planet. very grimdark, very rugged. love em.
This is why I like Kill Team. Maximum roster size is 20 men so I have made 6 different teams because I can dabble into all kinds of armies that I always wanted to try my hand at painting but never wanted to spend the amount a full army would cost.
I have 3 Marine teams (Compendium Deathwatch 30k loyalists from Isstvan III in Mark III armour, Compendium Chaos Marines (Alpha Legion) and Cultists (Escher ganger models), Chaos Legionaries (Word Bearers), Tyarnids, Compendium Tau and Pathfinders
The six of them gave me reason to
1: Build Mark III Marines from Isstvan III like I had knocking in my brain since 2007
2: Build Escher gangers and Test the new Contrast over metal paint scheme for Alpha Legion
3: Paint Word bearers
4: Finally get some paint on my Space Hulk game genestealers and Finally get some tyranids (gaunts/gants and warriors) which were almost my first army when I started 40k Also Test glow in the dark pigment as I had wanted to try that on a model for some time
5: Buy back a small amouunt into Tau which were my first 40k army circa 2003 which got sold in 2010 when I wasn't using them and needed the money more than the models.
But the true Impetus for all 6 projects was my wife who always wanted to try painting some Sisters so she got her team of sisters.
She has 6 teams as well
1: Compendium Sisters, Paint Sisters
2: Novitiates, Paint more sisters
3: Compendium Eldar, Always also wanted to paint some space elves
4: Voidscared Corsairs, More Eldar
5: Warpcoven Wanted to paint Thousand sons and wanted to have a chaos force
6: Custodes, Wanted to kitbash Stormcast so she could paint stormcast but have a use for them as we don't play AOS or any of its related games but she loved stormcast.
Not a single comment about drilling barrels! I'm impressed, the community is maturing!
wait wait wait, by leaving this comment didn't you just...say...that... ?! 😂
You die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the "drill your barrels"-grinch
Your channel has definitely showed me not to be afraid to try new techniques that otherwise I would’ve of thought of trying.
the camo on the walker is crazy cool
Fun fact, i won state champion by modeling my entire cadian army prone and because it was true Los in that edition it gave me a distinct advantage. Power gaming got to power game (I am reformed these days)
Haha, that's pretty incredible though.
I love the phrase Charcuterie sized Army!!
I feel that their needs to be a happy medium between Kill Team and Warhammer proper, this sounds like a nice idea!
I like your treatment on this mini army. I think it works best on the tank. The smaller troops start to look a bit 'powdery' on camera with the metal chipping around all the edges.
The idea of a mini-mini army is inspiring. I can never get myself to paint a whole army. I do like painting characters and small units.
I do that with dungeons and dragons stuff. Enough to make a fighting force but not a crazy commitment.
Ah man, that tank is amazing looking. Good stuff
(Cadians were my first WH kit cuz WW1 brits in SPAIS!)
And I really like that you saw beiond the surface of IG as an faction.
Cadians are immensely versatile and perfect for conversions.
Love the video, the Leman Russ though... I hope you did that to generate a lot of comments, if so, well done! Anyway, thank you for the new video!
20:26 the Leman Russ from the back looks like a Land Raider :P
Probably why I didn't realize it was backwards lol
I do love the WW2 Britian meets Colonial Marines look of the Cadians.
Absolutely love this channel, couple of beer tokens await you and brent! If you ever come to the UK.
Like purely for the awesome MEtallica shirt - one of my favourite albums!
My favorite album from them :)
Hey Casey, Have you ever done a video just on your working with enamels/oils process. Do you gloss varnish first?
It's been a while since I did a dedicated video on oils. I use them quite often too. Sometimes I gloss varnish if I want to minimize staining, but generally, I go on right over the paint and then matte varnish after.
@@eBayMiniatureRescues Thanks. I would be worried about the white spirits chewing through the acrylic. That's my main concern.
Looking good man! Also yeah, the "sub-human" aspect of the Astra Militarum is pretty interesting, Ogryns are some of my favorite models
A lot more character in those models!
Hey casey. Another good video. I haven't scrolled through your older videos, but have you done a video on your ultra sonic cleaner and what to avoid doing when stripping models?
Thanks! I haven’t done anything specifically on stripping, I plan to at some point, but in most videos I try and talk about it a little bit.
Good shit and sick farmer's tan.
lol thanks, it's been in the high 90s here, great outside weather!
@10:36 is when the Tyranid hiding in the tunnel above craps all over his head.
Love the paint job but dammn the turret is facing the rear and its bugging the hell out of me
That leman Russ turret being backwards just hurts me
lol, I made a community post about it. It swivels round no problem!
I’m not sure what market you go looking for used pieces;but I keep finding them going for about the same price as new ones
“Catachans don’t make sense in this universe” HERESY!!!
Nice video! I've only liked the Jungle Fighter line for its potential in building an Armageddon Ork Hunters army. :-)
Just play Kill Team. You can paint a lot of different stuff, theres ton of new teams with awesome models. Game is really really good as well.
I bought the newest Killteam starter, or I guess the one that started the new killteam. I like it, and the fact that warbands are fun to build and play. I plan on using these models for it for sure. I also enjoy building and painting armies and even my killteams are usually part of a larger 2000 point force.
What solution do you use in your Ultrasonic?
Edit - why is the turret on the Leman permanently backwards? Is it glued?
I use LA's Totally Awesome in the sonic cleaner, very nice and inexpensive!
The turret is not glued, it swivels and can come off. I posted a picture in the community section of the youtube channel about it :)
I made a bone headed error and tried to use a Magic Sponge which didn't work as planned lol .... I know I should have known better to start with but have been tired and was wanting to get some painting done and it was what I had handy at the time.
Rather than silver paint for your edges have you tried a #2 pencil? I think you'll be pleased with the results. And cleanup's a breeze!
Oooh I’ve never tried that, I’ll have to test it out, thanks for the tip!
*turns the turret facing front of the tank* my OCDDDDDD
The Imperial Guard are almost entirely history at this point. The 11 different model ranges for the various regiments have been reduced down to 4. I find the plastic Cadians to be the most boring, but I guess it makes the abhumans look even more interesting.
Yeah, that makes sense
Yeah, even as an Cadian player I find I quite irritating.
(F for Vostroyan boys)
So glad to have second hand resellers and 3rd party conversion bits.
Down to 2 really
Well, that's if you're buying GW models. Third party companies, like Wargames Atlantic, do a lot to fill the gaps left over in the model range.
I will probably add some Krieg and Kasrkins at some point.
man had the turret facing the rear of the tank
Great video as usual !
That tank turret though
For real, wth! It's not glued on though so it just swivels back around lol
I really like the contrast that red base gives. Do you use varnish or something to hold down pigment powders?
@@Smilomaniac Thanks! Just ordered my first pigment and I'm eager try out something new.
In my experience, silly putty does need to be pushed onto the model to make it stick well enough, still, you might have gotten a bad egg :(
Anyone know the name of the pigment added to the base? Love the colour.
It’s AK orange rust, they have a set of rust pigments that I really like.
@@eBayMiniatureRescues Thank you.
Hey Casey coudl you look into equalizing your audio? Having audio only come from side is kinda jarring
Unfortunately I made a mistake in editing the audio. Definitely not meant to be one sided. Sucks because I can’t go back to fit it now that it’s up..it’s an easier listen through a tv or speakers, headphones though it’s jarring for sure. Thanks for letting me know :)
Oh God. Charcuterie. A heretical word that has recently entered my vocabulary. Always with the awesome video my guy. Never stop.
Yes this word is the worst and should be redacted.
Great video!
What enamel wash did you use?
Thanks! It was AK streaking grime. But Mig brown enamel also works well.
You should also look at all the guard conversions
it would have been nice to see them painted in any other color scheme than green and khaki
I thought about it but in the end I wanted to have the experience of doing them mostly normal and adding some fun twists of my own. I probably won’t be painting anymore of these models again because I would rather get the other models in the range.
That Tank Turret is BACKWARD.
It happens, Merry Christmas!
