I'd love to buy an army of Skaven from ya if games workshop aint gonna provide. I wanna crush my friend's as we're gonna be having a Warhammer 40k army battle
I always thought Skaven would make a great gang for Necromunda. Evolving in the toxic sewers & sumps of the hive cities, learning & utilising the tech found in the warrens & tunnels below.
I think they could be their own faction. I’m pretty sure canon rat men exist and work along side some horrible time distorting monsters. That sounds like a faction to me.
Could run them as Scavvies with substitute figures, at least in unofficial/friendly games. Any special rules would have to be ok'd by your opponents though.
A roughshod approach would be to build them as an Outcast gang with three specific things going for them: Cawdor equipment (polearms and blunderbusses ahoy!), Genestealer-infected (access to rat ogre "aberrants" and prehensile tails as a "Third Arm" upgrade), and affiliated with a Rogue Factoria (access to a warlock-engineer's work party and the Skaven "counterfeit" weapons that they produce). They're also relatively easy to convert from a box of stormvermin.
They could also dig through space, might be a reason Eldar Webway gates are slowly falling apart. Also they are Chaos. Them living in the warp could be a easy way for them to explain why we haven’t seen them.
They managed to knock the moon out orbit with a rocket in the end times. I'd say they just need to make some small modifications for space travel but, given their love of blowing themselves up, they would probably just use the exact same design
Kinda like Genestealers. I think that's probably why there hasn't been an explicitly Skaven faction for 40k. Most of their traits already exist in other factions: Swarms, slavers, weird scrap-tech, caste-systems, societal infiltration and they're trying to keep 40k away from the wackier feel of its earlier days. Even Orks received an overhaul to reduce the sillier aspects from the faction. They're probably still the "comedy" faction of the setting, with some very funny models and fluff in the books, but remember what Orks used to be like...I can recall the backlash from the Ork players when they were first redesigned into their modern aesthetic and Ork players accused GW of "over-grimdarking" them.
The main problem I see for putting Skaven into 40k is that there is already a faction of hyper-breeding, xenophobic, expansionist, primitive, weak creatures but with overwhelmingly numerical superiority: -The imperial guard- * BLAM * +++Ratboys will be a welcome addition to the tabletop, and an excellent target practice for the Emperor's glorious troops.+++
The best idea i think adding them is make them actualy a tide, and introduce them by having a battle between Tyranids and whoever and as the battle is concluded and the last few soldiers getting swarmed by Tyranids the gnawholes start popping up across the battlefield and a true tide of rats come pouring out and ripping apart and devouring the Tyranids as the soliders look on within seconds of certain doom the last few carcasses are dragged back through the gnawholes and the battle field striped clean of all the dead and technology and life. A once scenic battleground of overgrowth and Tyranid hive spawn now just a desolate patch of dirt.
Yeah I just want my Hyper-breeding, xenophobic, expansionist, weak creatures with absolute insane technology and magic, with an emphasis on mixing them to disastrously effective results. It would be kinda like orks mixed with drukhari mixed with Admech. Which sounds amazing to me.
I believe Skaven could easily exist in 40k due to them actually being a Chaos faction. It's a matter of either making them another Nurgle servant army or somehow working their 5th Chaos God into the lore.
I actually made a death guard army using clan rats for Poxwalkers, larger rat ogres as chaos spawn, and an Arch Warlock as an HQ. With a few conversions and a matching scheme to my plague Marines, they work perfectly IMO
The Skaven is becoming one of my favorite factions in Total War, I would love to see them be introduced in 40k. Lore wise they could easily be a standalone faction with their Under City. But there is also the potential of seeing some of the Skaven clans join Nurgle and become Skaven Plague Warriors.
It would be interesting to see how 'space-rats' would be incorporated into 40k - I think GSC, Tyranids and Orks already have dibs on the Skaven's main attributes; the unseen threat beneath your very nose, the teaming uncountable multitude and the constant infighting the keeps them mostly in check. But done right, if they really leant into the true horror that a warp-capable Skaven society would look like, then yeah, I'd wanna see that for sure.
I also think the Skaven's role in the narrative gets filled by another faction: the Imperium of Man. It's a sprawling empire with a massive population, crowded into cramped hive cities. Breeding in large numbers, while their leadership considers any given individual to be a disposable resource. A rigidly hierarchical society, with cruel and incompetent masters living in luxury while atop mountains of impoverished slaves, that must eat one another to survive. Everything controlled on high by a bickering council, that rules in the name of a god that has proclaimed this unjust hierarchy as good. Even the various factions within the Imperium have more or less one-to-one analogues to the Skaven clans: -The Imperial Guard are Clan Verminus, the inexhaustible supply of soldiers that are thrown into the meat grinder. Both Guard and Skaven even have more elite footsoldiers that have storm-themed names (Tempestus Scions and Storm Vermin). -The Adeptus Mechanicus are Clan Skryre, technologists who throw absurd mechanical weapons at their enemies. Some of their forces modified by cybernetic enhancements. All while the faction wields volatile materials that mutate and excoriate the flesh. -The Ecclesiarchy and the Adepta Sororitas are Clan Pestilens, religious zealots that charge into the enemy with abandon. Even backing up their soldiers with mobile weapons platforms that double as musical instruments (the pipe organ tank versus the screaming bell). -The Officio Assassinorum is Clan Eshin, highly mobile and stealthy killers. Removing the enemies of their empire before they even realize they're there. -And what of the Adeptus Astartes? The biologically modified super soldiers, hulking brutes of muscle and ferocity? They are none other than the flesh-stitched horrors of Clan Moulder. Space Marines are glorified Rat Ogres. If this seems like a dim and scathing comparison, consider that the Imperium was always meant to be considered an abomination. It's a crumbling fascist state, held together by violent discipline, religious dogma, and its sheer size and inertia. Nothing about it is meant to be aspirational. In that way, the Skaven are a mirror of the Imperium of Man. They are everything the Imperium in the 41st millennium are, stripped of all pretense and propaganda. In the grim darkness of the far future, humanity is little more than a bloated, crumbling kingdom of rats.
ultimately I could see Skaven working in 40K under 2 main conditions 1. base them more on their AoS lore and have them be another set of Chaos Daemons that burrow their way out of the warp to invade the material world 2. Necromunda has already been stated to have giant mutated rats, introduce the Skaven as a Necromunda gang. the Imperial Guard sometimes use Beastmen as auxilleries so make Beastman rules for Guard and add the Skaven as a special Beastman unit (really I feel like all the Necromunda gangs should have Guard rules since Necromunda is supposed to recruit their Guard regiments from the gangs). from here they could've spread across the galaxy.
Mr. Bombadier must have been a literal gym rat because that cannon is larger than he is. I love the colour scheme, I think it would have been great to expand on it a bit more with more 40k bits.
still looks like a laz cannon at its core, but what if you wrapped Copper wire around the barrel and snaked a power cable along the Laz cannon body into the Coil. much more Ratty. and a tiny touch , add a tiny Warp shard to an ammo slot you can dremel out . i am sure Warp Shards would exist in 40k too somewhere.
I could easily see the deep underhive supporting a colony of huge sentient rats. Or maybe an abandoned forge world, rediscovered, that the rats took over centuries ago. Give them a Mechanicum feel. Maybe they think Tyranids are tasty. Or perhaps tie them in with the returning Squats? Lots of possibilities there.
Skaven main here; I do allot of admech/Skaven conversions and can honestly say I scrambled to sign that petition. Bring the followers of the Great Horned Rat (praise be unto him) into the 41st millennium, please.
That gun is ridiculous... I love it. Great stuff as per usual Casey and while I don't play 40K any more myself, I'll happily sign the petition for all my rat loving brothers and sisters who do. Love and light as always brother.
40k Skaven would be great to have as Chaos Xenos - really the only archetype I think we're missing - and could have a great number of weapons based around not just electricity and rockets but pure, unfiltered radiation - we get hints of nukes, but a faction that fully utilizes that kinda tech would be fantastic. Them having a lore concept of refining the pure energy of the warp into Warpstone would be a great way to bring that out.
Duuude! Have you seen Ms paints latest video? You get name dropped! Also I'll chip in a tenner if you buy his stuff from ebay and repaint it! It's already a good paint job, but I'd just love to see his reaction 😂❤️
Haha, just watched that video, really fantastic! Such a great channel too :) I am watching that Balrog and Gandalf auction, but the paint jobs are too good to repaint lol. He did an awesome job fixing them up!
I love how few changes you avtually made to the mini. Just by swapping the gun you already changes the whole tonality of the mini. Great job and very inspiring!
Hi mate! Love your work and always look forward to seeing what your working on next! For me I've gone with old school skaven armed up with GSCs weapons and will run them as 'counts as' cults army. Also using Mantics Veer-myn models to get the variety I need. I'm calling them Gene Squeakers lol! Keep up the great work!
that is beautiful, and I love the 80 cyber punk look - If I were making lore, the cyber-Skath would not travel like other Army's using space ships, but they would use tech to warp saturate an area of ground and 'Delver Rat' would dig into the WARP and then dig our on the other side, then establish a tunnel so the army proper can flood in. Warping to planets, or inside enemy ships, or just setting up shop in a Hulk.
My buddy converted AoS skaven, I 3d printed some bits and figs and he ordered from etsy. He runs them as Genestealer Cult or in his words, Chessestealer Cult.
and now it’s OPETH! Man I’m really diggin’ the whole music t’s thing that you have going on! Hahaha I don’t know if it’s intentional but keep it up plz! I still remember when days whe Mikael Akerfeldt would hang out with Mike Portnoy all the time, to the point where he even appears a lot on the music video for Dream Theater’s Wither
haha, I bought a couple a while back cause I was just planning on wearing them, and then the comments started coming in, so I bought more. I feel like it's definitely become a thing lately and I'm actively looking to buy shirts to wear on camera. I enjoy the fact that other people like the same stuff and maybe if they've never heard of a band they might check it out. Pretty fun little side project and something I definitely didn't expect.
I actually added skavens in a Dark Heresy campaign I'm running. In the lore I've build for the homebrew Hive World of Nobersreik (or Neo Ubersreik as it was millenia ago, little winks to fantasy and Vermintides here), skavens were the local indigenous specie when human settlers arrived, but since they were just primitive stone age caverats, they were stomped hard and had to flee deep underground to survive. During the next thousands of years, they found peace and salvation in Nurgles and kept a deep seeted hatred of humans. When the campaign start, the skavens have started to come out in the underhives, spreading a deadly plague and attacking humans, getting bolder and bolder.
There is a company called Mortian making a model range calles "Cyberrats", which are basically rats in space with cyberpunk weapons. They are also making awesome tanks for all kinds of tabletop games and armies, definately werth checking out.
I'm a big fan of Skaven and generally love your work. I think you hit the mark on "ridiculous" with that weapon but it's a shame we lose that awesome airbrush work behind a wall of Ultra Lascannon. I know there's a Skaven in there from the reverse shots, but I wish I saw more of him from the other angles.
Yeah! Get those ratmen going :) Funny enough I have tons of rats painted, but not a single clanrat...I probably need to remedy that sooner than later lol
Very cool! As mentioned below check out the Veer-myn by Mantic. They are 100% Space Skaven! I have several models. Their HQs, Rat Ogor equivalents and drill vehicle are all great.
I like the Skaven vibe, but honestly, I'm not sure where and how Skaven would fit in to 40k. All of their main niches are occupied by other, well-entrenched factions. Even the wacky technology! I think before Skaven could be brought into 40k, they would need an identity wholly or mostly their own.
Chaos Swarm. Cyborg magic tech, disease ridden, Ninja mutants rats. They could be Borrowing inside the Warp, one reason the warp gates of the Eldar are slowly collapsing. They mainly living in the Warp or in the Shadows on planets. They can be the silly, but scary army in chaos and they have a few demon models like the Vermon lords, demon rat swarm, and Demon wolf rats.
space skaven are a thing in 40k but they have only been seen once if my memory is serving me correctly an Admec fleet found them on a planet in a crashed ship but some type of radiation caused them to devolve so the space skaven were incapable of using tech
today I saw someone play 40K using Skaven, it shocked me, I had to look at them, the person told me what he was playing, but I forgot what they where meant to be
I've known for a long time that my favorite fantasy Warhammer faction is skaven. Buuut my group just plays kill team, which is cool. I always look at the skaven boxes my LGS all dreamy eyed.
Fun Fact: Under the old school Rogue Trader (Circa 1980's) and GW's Beta playtesting Skaven were an allowable and playable race. Genestealers even had an implant attack. Crazy facts. Would love to see Skaven back on the 40K board.
Only in the sense that the rules in the RT rulebook allowed you to come up with profiles for anything, but that was because, at the time of publishing, it was a game with no models. Once Citadel started producing miniatures, however, that kinda went out of the window.
I have a very simple weapon swap conversion of a skaven I did way back around 2004. Basically just simply changing the sword and shield to a pair of auto pistols, with a row of 3 small pouches on the right shoulder. It was a plastic skaven, with the body legs and tail chosen to try and give it a dramatic pose. Diehard Miniatures have a space rat in their current line up as well. Just need to paint him. Of course there should be skaven in 40k. I mean, they are masters of warp tech(-ish), so they should be able to master warp space and warp drive. "Ezekie, warp speed 9, engage!" 🤣
this looks insane. for conversion skaven can fit into so many different 40k armies. ive made a small ratmech army. orks is a great pick, but most can be used really as grimdark fits them so well
Here is my head canon. Skaven in 40k origins is a bit patchy, but they are xenos who acknowledge the warp are in communion with a dark entity in the warp who has ambitions to change his "minor warp entity" status. Because of this worship of this entity its power is growing and allows them access to all sorts of crazy warp/technology fusion. Mutations being a major thing. They have some wacky ways to invade worlds. They build their ships as basically giant drills that crash into planets. Those drills then instantanously start boring holes and tunnels into the planet. Most races will think it is merely a astorid. However it is them secretly building and breeding beneath the feet. Then once they control lower levels of a civilization they burst forth. If subterfuge doesn't work they simply invade using warp magic to not cut off the warp like tyrinads, but cause it to go haywire not due to Chaos corruption, but due to a third party the Horned Rat.
I personally would think the WH 40k Skaven would have perfect Guerrilla Tactics since they’re rats, and many rats make tunnel systems and burrows irl. They’d kind of be Kreigsmen, but Rats and addicted to Warpstone.
My head canon is that Skaven are also Chaos in 40K. They are High Tech, disease ridden, ninja mutant, chaos cyborg rat men. That dig through the multiverse till they find a planet to take over. Could be a pretty sweet faction to be honest that’s goofy, scary, and and awesome!
There’s this minor Xenos species I found a bit before discovering this video called the Stryxis. With their aesthetics, how they talk and trade and how they even build n operate it’s all extremely skaven esque so I always figured them the skaven inserts of 40k at least until GW actually does it
I really wanted to like this but, it came out looking like a Disney wizard rat hybrid with a party hat on the weapon and confetti coming the back pack. Not slating your ability to paint or the skill in what you do but that’s just how it felt to me.
I spent a bit to much on my space rats. But they are fun. I started by wanting some exciting and different villains for a Dark Heresy campaign. It was the most memorable rpg ive ever run. From there is spiraled into a horrific IG army and a knight.
I can't wait for those opr ones, they look incredible! it would be nice for GW to follow suit, you never know, I'm still keeping hope alive for something!
I kit-bashed a Skaven army out of obviously Skaven, and IG. And I just proxy them as IG. They're a 'massed' army, so it actually works well. But yea, it would be awesome to have some space rats! BTW, OPR just started they Space Saurians that are pretty cool!
Sign the petition to get Skaven into Warhammer 40K! www.change.org/bringskavento40k
Whould you like to sign my petition?
no
I'd love to buy an army of Skaven from ya if games workshop aint gonna provide. I wanna crush my friend's as we're gonna be having a Warhammer 40k army battle

I think they could be their own faction. I’m pretty sure canon rat men exist and work along side some horrible time distorting monsters. That sounds like a faction to me.
I'm pretty sure they created Genestealer gangs to replace the Skaven
Could run them as Scavvies with substitute figures, at least in unofficial/friendly games. Any special rules would have to be ok'd by your opponents though.
Veer-myn from deadzone is pretty much this! Also a good game I hear!
Great results; Skaven wouldn’t even have to figure out space flight on their own - rats always find their way onto ships and spread wherever they go
You know chaos ships' bilges are just packed full of mutant warp rats. Rat cultists would be miles better than weird goat bird men
yep, would suck being a crew member trying to sleep whilst the genestealers and rat men are fighting in the air vents.
They could also dig through space, might be a reason Eldar Webway gates are slowly falling apart. Also they are Chaos. Them living in the warp could be a easy way for them to explain why we haven’t seen them.
They managed to knock the moon out orbit with a rocket in the end times. I'd say they just need to make some small modifications for space travel but, given their love of blowing themselves up, they would probably just use the exact same design

add them in killteam

One Page Rules has an officially supported Ratmen in their Grimdark Future in their list of armies if you are looking for a ruleset to use this in!
Lol I just posted the same comment after you and just saw it lol 😂😆 I love me some one page rules games
Came here just to say that! XD
^This. One Page Rules, once again doing what James Workshop is too cowardly to do.
There's also the Veer-Myn from Mantics stuff
I prefer one page rules, but warpath firefight by mantic games has space rats
40k Skaven would be a dream come true, it would be the reason I finally make an army.
I believe Skaven could easily exist in 40k due to them actually being a Chaos faction. It's a matter of either making them another Nurgle servant army or somehow working their 5th Chaos God into the lore.

you dont even need chaos, they can be something like Tau, its not impossible to add some faction in 40k, the galaxy is quite big
6th chaos god. Malal is technically canon again.
I mean, shouldn’t be too hard given the fact that greater good warp entity exists
Beastmen exist in 40k so some big rats shouldn’t be too much of an issue I think.
I love the Skaven, and I do hope they're brought to the 40k universe officially at some point
Skaven would be what the hobby NEEDS , their versatility would make for interesting tournaments
The Skaven is becoming one of my favorite factions in Total War, I would love to see them be introduced in 40k. Lore wise they could easily be a standalone faction with their Under City. But there is also the potential of seeing some of the Skaven clans join Nurgle and become Skaven Plague Warriors.
This is awesome. Fantastic paint scheme on that model. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Mantic makes an entire "space rat" army.

The Sun shall never set on the Rat Empire
Great band tee! Absolutely love Opeth (also great video!!)
Mr. Bombadier must have been a literal gym rat because that cannon is larger than he is.
I love the colour scheme, I think it would have been great to expand on it a bit more with more 40k bits.
Mantic Games has the Veer-Myn, an entire Faction if Space Skaven that look great.
I was going to post the same. I have several from original Deadzone expansion.

Skaven main here; I do allot of admech/Skaven conversions and can honestly say I scrambled to sign that petition. Bring the followers of the Great Horned Rat (praise be unto him) into the 41st millennium, please.
Looking at my over 5000 points of skaven. "Yeah I could get some space rats with it."
Ace bro that looks cool lovely conversion concept looking forward to more
The quality of editing, script, lighting, photography and of course painting is amazing!
Thank you for the great content!
That gun is ridiculous... I love it.
Great stuff as per usual Casey and while I don't play 40K any more myself, I'll happily sign the petition for all my rat loving brothers and sisters who do.
Love and light as always brother.
Definitely thought about making a Ratfink style hotrod riding space rat warband for Ash Wastes. Unfortunately I don't really have that kind of time...

Imagine a league of voltan conversion for skaven.
Awesome conversion and brilliant paint job, Casey! Petition signed!

Starfinder the RPG actually has a race that's space rats, but they really aren't the Chaotic Evil Skaven we all love.
and now it’s OPETH! Man I’m really diggin’ the whole music t’s thing that you have going on! Hahaha I don’t know if it’s intentional but keep it up plz!

Nice to see you there

When the campaign start, the skavens have started to come out in the underhives, spreading a deadly plague and attacking humans, getting bolder and bolder.
Great job, always creative!
OMG! THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE THAT I DIDNT KNOW I HAD! 🤩I am so gona join you in this! Thank you.
Awesome conversion! And I love the Opeth shirt by the way 🤘🏻
There is a company called Mortian making a model range calles "Cyberrats", which are basically rats in space with cyberpunk weapons.
They are also making awesome tanks for all kinds of tabletop games and armies, definately werth checking out.
Veer-myn from deadzone is pretty much this too! Also a good game I hear!
Heh, one of the pics he used for inspiration was one of the Cyberrats, the one with the test tube like protrusions from it's back.
@@mattdeeley4302 it is 👍🏻
100% looking into these!
I love there stuff, I do wish they added more of the other tribes in the models they made. Also some Chaos.
take a look for the "Veer-myn" from Mantic Games you might like them.....
Absolutely love the conversion! You made a great model better, well done
great results, you can hear the over the top laughter of the mini.
Manticgames has some cool ratbois too
Yeah! I gotta check those out :)
Love it love it! Skaven always best, even in space-future, yes-yes!
Fantastic taste in music Casey. Opeth are top tier.
That band was one of the first introductions to progressive heavier music for me, I still listen to their stuff all the time, love that band!
*slams desk and holds up money* Trans Cyber-K Space Rats. Sign me up!
Brother, this looks fucking insane, I LOVE IT.
The gun is so over the top. Beautiful
This has inspired me to crack on with my Skaven army after only having a squad of Clanrats painted. Thanks, Casey!
Yeah! Get those ratmen going :) Funny enough I have tons of rats painted, but not a single clanrat...I probably need to remedy that sooner than later lol
I have missed weird voice of the internet guy 😂. And "I am at the door" cracked me up
Very cool! As mentioned below check out the Veer-myn by Mantic. They are 100% Space Skaven! I have several models. Their HQs, Rat Ogor equivalents and drill vehicle are all great.
I've wanted to see Space Rats for so long! Your's came out awesome and I'm definitely signing you petition.
Keep up the great work!
-John
Yes! Thank you for joining the cause :)
They have one.
They're Skaven, and Skaven are awesome.
space skaven are a thing in 40k but they have only been seen once if my memory is serving me correctly an Admec fleet found them on a planet in a crashed ship but some type of radiation caused them to devolve so the space skaven were incapable of using tech
I have skaven as a gang in Necromunda and I'm sure I've seen scraps of current lore mentioning rats in Space.
I'm all in favour of space Rats.
today I saw someone play 40K using Skaven, it shocked me, I had to look at them, the person told me what he was playing, but I forgot what they where meant to be
That’s awesome! I’ve seen some pretty cool AOS armies that have been converted to Skaven, but you don’t see too many 40K armies like that.
Ace paintwork as always.
Have a look at Mortian Cyberrats.
Brilliant minis, they are my next army once I finish my thousand boyz waaaagh.
A small footstep for Skaven and a big jump for Horned Rat
Magenta and teal converted Skaven? Somewhere Vince Venturella senses this through the warp and just smiles.
Haha, every time I get into that color territory I always think of Vince.
"Ezekie, warp speed 9, engage!"
🤣
this looks insane. for conversion skaven can fit into so many different 40k armies. ive made a small ratmech army. orks is a great pick, but most can be used really as grimdark fits them so well
The Veer-myn would like a word with you. Seriously, though, they have some really fun models including a scifi doom wheel.
Skaven would be a good scavenging army using all the best bits of tech from different enemies they have stolen/conquered.
I thought you meant the Skaven had finally been added to 40k
In my case, for this conversion, yes, but officially, no. But I want them to be!
If we got 40k skaven we could have matches of Space Marines vs Space Murines
Seems like Skaven woudl fit right in with the dark mechanicum.
Space rats forever! Great stuff, Casey!!
Casey:
-We needs rats in space, cats in space and killer space whales:
Astra Militarum Felinid Auxillian Regiment:
-Yeah, right meow.
Not a Warhammer player, I just enjoy the content.
But thumbs up for the Opeth shirt. Because the sun sets forever over Blackwater park.
Love that band :)
signed. Space rats would be instantly my next army the day the announce them
YES give me space Skaven! i would invest a bunch in making an army
Skaven heads might fit well on the new squat models coming out
I personally would think the WH 40k Skaven would have perfect Guerrilla Tactics since they’re rats, and many rats make tunnel systems and burrows irl.
Could be a pretty sweet faction to be honest that’s goofy, scary, and and awesome!
skaven in 40k would be so cool, Horned Rat is a minor chaos God gaining some street cred would make a cool story
1 box of skaven = 1 box of catachans = RATACHANS. Job done.
fould love to see you talk, rescue and experience deadzone (veer-myn fits your want from this vid)
Man Casey, I've been waiting for a video from you xD
The teeth and beard needed love though :(
Liked the video for the Opeth shirt.
Skaven with a Lascannon.....me: * heavy concerned sweating *
This is soo heRATical, yes-yes!
I actually lol'ed! 😂
lol, yes yes!
All shall fall before the madball idiocy of the Adeptus Verminatus!
hahah exactly :)
Yes. I am working on my own space lizard 40k faction
I think they are really cool looking make your army and unleash them upon the Space Marines.
40k has Ratlings and the original depiction of Hrud was Space Skaven
"Did you see the size of that gun he fired at us? It was bigger than him"
Opr is going to start releasing their fantasy ratmen soon, i suspect they will do scifi ratmen right after
I can't wait for those opr ones, they look incredible! it would be nice for GW to follow suit, you never know, I'm still keeping hope alive for something!
This is delightfully silly. I'd play it.
He looks so happy about his gun.
I kit-bashed a Skaven army out of obviously Skaven, and IG. And I just proxy them as IG. They're a 'massed' army, so it actually works well. But yea, it would be awesome to have some space rats! BTW, OPR just started they Space Saurians that are pretty cool!
