@@didi5617 I mean they're not competing in the sense that they're making the same or similar content, but they are competing for our attention/time. Even if the content is completely different, they're going to work harder and harder to keep our attention and earn our time now that there's 2 more car channels posting longer-form content that we COULD be watching instead of their channel (applies to all 3 of them).

For all you Jarheads who end up liking drag racing. There is a drag strip like 20 minutes from Camp Lejeune! I used to go when I was stationed there and the strip was struggling. They are doing better now but get out there and support them like Nolan said. It's a good day of fun.
I used to go to Coastal Plains dragway every now and then when I was stationed in Lejeune. I enjoyed the car scene there.

Yeah, I’m not super optimistic. 3 of my 4 favorite hosts have left, and I don’t blame them. It with either slowly implode, or people will take to the new personalities. The problem is there is so much good car content on RUclips.

25:12 Turning the A/c off for this situation is optimal. BUT, most manufacturers PCMs turn the a/c compressor off automatically when it sees wide open throttle. At least all the Mopars do this on their own. This was a fun video guys! I’m glad you’re finally burning up a drag strip!

Always have a saying that I can't afford cheap parts.
I think the only thing I went a little cheap on was the exhaust on my truck but then again it's a straight 5 inch tube from the downpipe back so I just got an aluminized steel with a stainless 6in tip vs paying the couple hundred extra for the stainless one. But everything else is one of the 2 preferred items but I bought when a large sale was happening and dropped like 8k on parts in one go and another 4k for my trans rebuild kit...

they aren't "coming back"... these episodes are all done in the past and released slowly over the "season" after they are fully finished so they can drip feed the algorithm. Zach and Jer make fresh "current" content on their new channel now

This video brought a tear to my eye. 8 years old I got into a junior dragster and did nothing but race for 2 years before I had to move to Okinawa. Insane that one of yall have experienced the same childhood to some extent and makes me love yalls videos even more. SAVETHESTRIPS
I normally get a chuckle or two from Donut videos but when Nolan said "I don't like that" when he was about to race Mindy, when Jerry said "no cake for you" and the look Zac shot Nolan after he came out of the bathroom. All hysterical to me.

Thank you donut and bigtime, all you guys were very much what got me through 2017 to 2024. Working on my car. You guys are my inspiration and my co-pilots. I wrenched on my car, added finishing touches, and all that stuff. I don't have a big family of car fanatics where I am at. Mostly professionals and families. Not so much gearheads. But you guys are like family.
Always there through both the good times, the rough times, and the bad times! That's what it's all about. These double video releases! They are just the best man! I added a little iPad arm in my garage connected to my peg board so I can listen and work on my projects in the garage!

Hello Donut! 17 year mechanic here! Most cars, i wont say all because theres probabaly an oddball somewhere, but most cars have a wide open throttle input to the engine computer that will also cut power to the AC compressor. You can verify this by simply monitoring the AC on signal with a scanner and see if those Mustangs are smart enough to turn the AC off when full power is demanded. Im confident it will because that technology has been around almost as long as AC has been installed in performance cars. Old cars used to have a physical switch like my Audi 5000. Modern day vehicles just use the voltage signal from the throttle position sensor which usually reads between 0.5 and 4.5v DC. Depending on the car .5v could be idle or wide open.
They usually ask you to turn it off at the drag strip so you do not get water on the track.

As someone who’s been racing a Mustang at the drag strip since high school, this makes me happy. Nolan’s Mustang was part of the reason I got a black 07 GT to begin with. I’m glad to watch this season

Just started watching the video, but I have to say the amount of effort that goes into editing and production is very noticeable. We all hate change but maybe we need to appreciate that we now have Big Time, Speeed, and newly refreshed and motivated Donut creating great content for us to watch for free. 🎉
Now that I think about it, future projects could have collaborations with Big Time, the 2 boys get paid handsomely, and we get the same great content. 😊

Drag strip here in Colorado got closed down due to housing encroachment. Used to be awesome to go to Bandimere. Should be a law against that but no one cares. 🙃

By the way on that generation (and probably most cars made since 2000) the A/C gets disabled under wide open throttle to save the A/C system and not rob any power from the engine. So feel free to leave it on and not sweat your balls off
